Santorum Condemns Firebombing of Milwaukee Planned Parenthood Clinic

In a scenario straight out of a “Lifetime” movie, or an episode of “Law and Order SVU,” Federal investigators have begun probing last night’s bombing of a Milwaukee-area Planned Parenthood clinic. The motivations for the bombing are unclear, and no suspected perpetrators have been identified. Talking Points Memo notes that both the FBI and the Civil Rights division of the Justice Department have joined the fight, and has some extra details on the bombing:
The attack took place at about 7:30 p.m. local time in Wisconsin, causing a small amount of damage to the building in the town of Grand Chute, about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. No one was injured.[...]
The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division also joined the investigation, a spokeswoman told TPM. The civil rights portion of the probe will focus on a law that makes it illegal to damage or destroy the property of a facility because it provides abortion services.
Unsurprisingly, the attack has drawn the condemnation of every GOP Presidential contender. Rick Santorum has been especially fierce, issuing a written statement on it that was also sent to TPM:
Violence is never the answer, and I will always condemn any and all violent attacks against our fellow Americans. In this country, we resolve our differences through political discussion and free and fair elections – never by violence. This upcoming election is about restoring freedom and liberty in America, and a key part of that is to restore a culture that values human life and the dignity of all Americans. While we can and should work to defund Planned Parenthood and push back against government mandates that force Americans and religious institution to violate their faith, violence against our fellow citizens has no place in a freedom-loving America.
The clinic apparently suffered minimal damage and will reopen shortly.

Bringing violence to those who do violence for a living cannot provide any opportunity to turn their hearts. A constant prayerful presence at abortion clinics makes it impossible for mothers to avoid inquiring into their actions. It also creates a means for the surviving victims of abortion (the mothers) to come to peace and forgiveness. What if it was a local high school student. There is no left or right in a situation like this, just cowardly terrorism. Posted on April 2, 2012 at 4:51pmThis has all the appearances of a hoax. Either a stupid teenager thinking they’re being funny by getting everyone in a tizzy or a pro abortion hack trying to make it look like they were attacked just to gin up sympathy.
If this were a real attack with a real bomb by some radical anti abortion people there would have been more than minimal damage, and the attack would have taken place when the doctors were in the building. This report sounds like some sort of prank device made to appear like somebody tried to bomb the place, but specifically chosen so as not to cause any real damage.

Anyone so ignorant of history and reality as to suggest that violence “has no place in a freedom loving America” is far too ignorant to vote for or to allow to run a nation.

Should law enforcement halt their attempts to arrest or detain criminals? Bringing a halt to their activity might require violence. Is this fool against the death penalty? That is definitely violence against a fellow American.
Saying that violence is “bad” is merely an excuse to not do that which is required of all people of good conscience, and a rather pathetic one. Were any of the founding fathers to have embraced the modern foolish pacifism and defeatism that is so wholeheartedly embraced by those claiming hold to the same ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, we would all be British today.

I have been studying law extensively in the past 6 months and consider myself to have what is equal to a beginning second-year law student.
I was going to fight a ticket I received for having no light on a bicycle while riding on the sidewalk.
I have remedy and recourse and could file the necessary papers to reserve my common law rights.
I also have plenty of solid arguements I could use under statutory jurisdiction, being the authorized representative in propia persona.
The ticket is for 62.50 with no required court appearance, with the Chance that if I lose the case, I would be required to pay up to $500.
Considering what I have learned about law, I know they are corrupt and I have a chance of losing $500.
I am going to pick my battles and spend that $437.50 towards a new glock and some more survival gear.
