It’s open war between the Minnesota twins.
Home-state rivals Tim Pawlenty and Michele Bachmann are already going straight at each other, less than 20 minutes into the debate. Fox’s Chris Wallace touched off the blowup, listing a series of issues Pawlenty has raised about Bachmann — her migraines, her scant record of accomplishment in DC — and asking: “Is she unqualified or is she just beating you in the polls?”
Pawlenty first pushed back on the idea that he‘d questioned Bachmann’s health, saying: “I have not questioned Congresswoman Bachmann’s migraine headaches … The only headache I hear abou ton the campaign trail is the headache” Obama’s given the country.
“She’s done wonderful things in her life, absolutely wonderful things,” Pawlenty said, then dropping the hammer: “It’s an undisputable fact that her record of accomplishment and results is nonexistent.”
Offered the opportunity to respond, Bachmann unloaded on Pawlenty’s record as governor: “When you were governor in Minnesota, you implemented cap and trade in our state and you praised the unconstitutional individual mandate … You said the era of small government is over. That sounds a lot more like Barack Obama if you ask me.”
But wait — there’s more!

Posted on August 11, 2011 at 11:59pmI thought this was ridiculous. The points were well made and Chris Wallace continued it like a soap opera. It purposely hurt them both and took up time ignoring the others. Annoying of Chris Wallace and Ironic.

Did you see how angry he became when Bachmann held her own

Wallace hates TEA!
….and also powerful non-establishment GOP women.
He has rudely and repeatedly trashed Palin and Bachmann!
Wallace really needs to LEAVE FOX and go home to NBC.

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 8:07amWhat it came down to was Bachmann point blank said she would rather losing fighting the good fight than win fighting the bad fight. And Pawlenty why generally a good guy does support cap and trade, manditory health insurance purchase, and big government. Basicly Bachmann’s a conservative and Pawlenty is a soft spoken Rino.

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 8:57amMichelle needs to submit to Governor Pawlenty, who is her male superior, and who does indeed have a track record of DOING things instead of simply CHEERLEADING for the correct true-Christian outcome.
After he becomes President, Governor Pawlenty could assign Representative Bachmann to be his Christian Advocacy Czar Adviser (CACA). That way she could be officially critical and punishing to false Christians and blasphemers like the huge Gay Marriage Abortion Lobby (GMAL).
In short; know your place, woman, stand behind a strong manly man.

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 3:45pmPawlenty was shameless here. By his logic, the soldiers that fight for our country, but die early in the battle, are a useless waist… because it’s all about RESULTS. Who cares if you stand your ground and fight for the good of the country, not backing down when the opposition is fierce. IF YOU LOSE A BATTLE, THEN WHAT GOOD ARE YOU!
C’mon, Pawlenty! You know what’s even more worthless?!? A man that talks big, but then alters his course with every change of the political wind! Yeah you set out to do some things in your state, and succeeded because you were playing the union’s tune. WHAT GOOD IS THAT?!?
Sorry to say it Pawlenty, but Michelle’s got way more balls than you do, pal. Say hello to your new President.

Michele MUST RUN! To Win We Need a CHRISTIAN, a WOMAN and a BLACK and she provides two out of three! ((Well, so does Sarah, if she ever gets off the pot.))
I wish we could give a woman the front seat this time! Just because the sitting president is a partial African (i.e. ‘mulatto”) is no reason to lead our Ticket with a ‘real black’ but very inexperienced politician (who is really just a successful restaurant executive with Government Civilian experience), we actually need to beat a working, experienced black administration that will someday be led by Hillary, so to win we must go Woman 1st-Black 2nd!

Posted on August 11, 2011 at 11:51pmIt seems Pawlenty could only criticize Bachman on not getting things done in Washington. The problem is that Bachman doesn’t have the weight to pass things on her own merit. She’s not the head of either Party, but she sure has been at the forefront of getting Conservative issues on the table. Pawlenty, on the other hand, was a Governor, and has quite a few things he is responsible for.
Bachman has my vote so far! (Colonel West would be the only one I’d prefer to see in the race.) Both are true Conservatives with backbone!

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 12:18amI still maintain the ONLY candidate who actually has the balls to do the right things hasn’t even announced yet. The rest of the field is made up of wannabes who apparently lack the moral code to do what is needed. This isn’t rocket science folks. At the risk of being simplistic, our Washington “checkbook” needs to be tended as if it were our own personal finances. You cannot spend more than you take in, and then expect your creditors to raise your spending limit to cover your shortfall. That doesn’t happen in real life. The ONLY politician I am aware of who has suffered the slings and arrows of the idiots in the media is Sarah Palin. And she STILL did the right things for her state, allowing it’s economy to grow and the people to prosper. She took on all comers and defeated them with common sense and the truth . Why do you think the left is so scared of her? That should tell you all you need to know. If you can’t see the desperate situation we are in, due almost exclusively to political correctness and liberal policies, I submit that you are a) on some form of government assisstance and want it to keep on coming, or b) do not reside here in the real world with the rest of us for whatever reason. In closing, allow me to repeat some words of wisdom I recently came across: “If you voted for Obama in ‘08 to prove you’re not a racist, vote for ANYONE else in 2012 to prove you’re not an idiot”.

After the debate when Hannity interviewed him, Santorum REALLY STOOD OUT as one of the best candidates on that stage. Impressive. I am pro-choice but social issues take a back seat to getting the economic mess cleaned up and Santorum came across trustworthy and gave CONCRETE answers to questions.
If Pawlenty is willing to mow someone‘s yard if they could come up with Obama’s “plan”, he should have made the same wager against someone coming up with Romney’s plan.

Her accomplishments may not have been successes… but she stands by what she believes in… supports what is best for the country and the citizens. It takes more than one vote to pass legislation and most of the other politicians… yes democrat and republican alike… are just corrupt.
