Miracle? 6-Year-Old Boy Survives After Dad Stabs Him 20+ Times

A Tampa, FL dad has been arrested after police say he stabbed his 6-year-old son over 20 times during a New Year’s celebration.
Miraculously, the boy survived and the father has been charged with attempted murder. The AP reports:
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Xavier Thomas, 23, had been watching New Year’s Eve fireworks with relatives late Friday. When the fireworks were over, Thomas took his son, also named Xavier, to a play area in the apartment complex.
About a half hour later, Thomas returned without the boy. The Sheriff’s Office says Thomas fled on foot when relatives asked about the boy.
The family called authorities.
Deputies say the blood-covered child appeared from the play area as they arrived.
The Sheriff‘s Office says none of the child’s wounds were life-threatening.

Posted on January 2, 2011 at 2:13amwhen people pull this kind of crap its tough to even read the heading for the article. i have children and if anyone ever did anything like that to one of mine i would have a very difficult time not hunting him down and making sure he left this life very slowly. this is horrendous. i know this kind of thing is up to the Lord to give him his true punishment deserved, but i would have a hard time not going for retribution. there are more godless and heartless people now. men’s hearts shall fail them in the last days. that is what we see here- no love, no responsibility, no compassion. it was a 6 year old for Christ’s sake. how can you do that to a little child? i will never understand the person who does something like this; i will always understand the father who goes after someone who does something like this.

Posted on January 2, 2011 at 12:37amI‘m thinking the Father was completely closed off from God’s grace @broker0101, I don’t believe God interferes with Free Will as it is our gift to choose to do with what we want and are then judged on later, but he will perform Miracles on occasion for his own reasons which I do not understand but believe in because I have seen the results of those Miracles too many times… But we can choose not to let God’s Grace into our lives and the results are quite often tragic… So, good luck dude!

That my friend is what leads to a stupid father stabbing his son 20 times, not the Lord intending for it to happen. He, the Lord, would never intend for a little child to have that happen. It’s due to our free will and agency we have been given and based on how we decide to steward that responsibility.
