(Listen) MLB Player Luke Scott Comes Out as an Obama ‘Birther’

Luke Scott is a gun-toting, deer-killing, major league baseball player. Now we can add something else to that list: birther — that is, he doesn’t believe Barack Obama was born in the United States.

Scott, who plays outfield for the Baltimore Orioles, made the revelation yesterday to Yahoo! Sports reporter David Brown.

“He was not born here,” Scott said during a discussion that turned political. “That’s my belief. I was born here. If someone accuses me of not being born here, I can go — within 10 minutes — to my filing cabinet and I can pick up my real birth certificate and I can go, ‘See? Look! Here it is. Here it is.’ The man has dodged everything. He dodges questions, he doesn’t answer anything. And why? Because he’s hiding something.”

    Hey, this is good news. Gene Simmons and now Luke Scott. I’m happy to see these folks speaking out. Just as many were suckered in to voting for BHO, many still suffer progressive guilt and have just stopped talking about it. Let Gene and Luke assist in making it more “acceptable” to speak out against Obama.

    At this point I really don’t care where the man was born because he is not going to be removed by law anyway…that would require our legal system to follow the Constitution which it has abandoned. What I care about is that the man is not an American. He spent VERY little time in this country before he was an adult and has no understanding of the values of this country…ask him about the Muslim world values or Indonesian values and he will give answers that reflect experience. The man doesn’t even know that we are the land of “In God We Trust” since it was made law in 1956, instead he thinks we are the land of “E pluribus unum”.

    Again, I don’t care where he popped into this world, what I do care about is his desire to protect, defend and preserve the United States of America…a land he has very little experience or influence from his youth. Oh, by the way, go ask ANY psychologist where most of our personality influences come from…the answer should be a unanimous , youth.

    This guy is right! Why would a man spend millions of dollars in court to stop having to show a Certificate of live birth (Not that piece of garbage they have on the net) and why evade questions. Not just the Birth issue but, collage, medical, etc. It definitely seems that he has something to hide~!!!

      Fact is people obumdo is Hiding something very big.For him to go to all the trouble he has gone to in keeping everything so secret is an admission of some sort of illegal act in my book.problem is proving it.
      Someday it will all come out and when it does he will end up in prison where he belongs.Everything about this moron has way too many red flags about it and the fact that no one has the balls to go after it deeply concerns me.I would love to see this clown impeached and then kicked out of our Country.

    The sad thing is that we are left to ‘believe’ whether Obama was born in America.

    My guess is that Obama was born in Hawaii but there is a blind spot in the evidence that leaves open the possibility that he wasn’t.

    The sad part is that an issue that has divided this country so badly could have been put to bed in thirty seconds with a signature that would have either allowed the state to release the long form certificate or the hospital where he was born to release it’s records. Instead, he has cynically let this issue fester. This man who was elected with no resume, based on the hope of bringing us together as one nation, has done nothing but divide.

    Even sadder, we have a sycophantic press that has mocked anyone who wants the answers that they should have been digging to find. Not one of them can provide any proof of the hospital where Obama was born. We have heard different stories from different people and there is no hospital proudly claiming that this American president was born in their facility. A press that doesn‘t do it’s job leaves a nation absolutely vulnerable. It is scandalous.

      I would love to see just one reporter ask Barry this very simple question:
      President Obama, you taught Constitution Law at the University of Chicago, so I would like to ask you this very simple question: “Can a person born to one US citizen and one British citizen still meet the ”natural born Citizen” requirement of Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the US Constitution? I am not asking if that person would be a “US Citizen” – I’m asking if they would meet the much more specific requirement of a “natural born Citizen”.

      I would love to hear his anser to this.

    Anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows that there are serious questions to Obama’s true citizenship. For some reason as yet unexplained anyone who doubt’s or questions Obama’s citizenship is branded a “Birther” This is supposed to be a bad thing. Those with more than an ounce of intelligence know that something stinks to high heaven. There are two types though, those who have the courage to stand up and say what they think and those who are afraid. The tactic is pure liberalism. Call names, brand and humiliate. It’s really sad that so many Conservatives jumped on this particular band wagon. The man won’t produce a valid “Legal” birth certificate and dates as well as his passport info don’t add up. What other rational conclusion could you come to? Something stinks. Anyone else would be hung out to dry, legally.

    As I read through posts on this site, I see many names that make several comments about every article. I applaud you for being informed, but you are preaching to the choir here. If you have the time to spend all day, every day on the Blaze, please find a way to put that time and your enthusiasm to good use. Find a way to evangelize the good word of conservatism. Inform the masses in your community. In 1776, they had pamphleteers- be the pamphleteers now.
    I wish I had the time some of you have. Right now, I am a first year medical student. I hardly have time to sleep. Luckily, I live in a part of Indiana that couldn’t get any more God and Country that it already is. The rest of you…get up on the rooftops and shout to the world if you have to!
    We are already awake here, go out and wake others.

      Rich, my comment was geared toward those who are one of the first to comment on nearly every article posted to this site. For them, I applaud their enthusiasm and willingness to be a part of the movement against progressives. It is difficult to post that prolifically and do anything else. They are the ones who need to direct their enthusiasm toward enlightening the uninformed. Maybe start posting on HuffPo as much as they post here.

      He traveled to Pakistian as a student…but he did not get a Passport according to U.S. records until 1995. His half sister Maya Soetoro says she was born in Indonesia but has a Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth. Read about the issuance of these certificates under Hawaiian law. Many children were born ‘at home’ and therefore an adult could obtain the Certificate of Live Birth after the fact. Prior to 1980 a foreign born child could be issued a Certificate of Live Birth in Hawaii. After that, they changed it to Certificate of Foreign Birth. But under no circumstances is a Certificate of Live Birth a BIRTH CERTIFICATE. They are two totally different things. A COLB shows a child was born alive,…A Birth Certificate is an official document showing factual information regarding where, when and to whom the child was born.

    It DOESN’T MATTER where he was born at this point. He’s two years in to his “presidency” – and, legit or not, he’s there. The real issue should be “what are we going to do about it?” and figuring out how to save the country. At this point, his place of birth is a distraction.

    Red Herring Alert!!!! While it would be nice to see an offical copy of President Obama’s long-form Certificate of Birth (naming the Dr., hospital, time of birth, etc.), it doesn’t matter if he was born in the US, the simple fact that he was not born to TWO US citizens at the time of his birth means he fails the test of a “natural born citizen” (not a US Citizen – a “natural born” citizen).

    Putting on my Conspiracy Theory hat . . . I am somewhat guessing that some on the right in power are still afraid of the repercussions of removing Obama at this time . . . and I‘m not so sure that this whole situation wasn’t a set-up by the Socialist/Marxists (Soros, Ayers, Pelosi, SEIU, Tides Foundation, Annenberg Trust, Open Society, Free Press, etc.). One of the ways to destroy the US and our Constitution is to create chaos and a belief that elections and election results can no longer be trusted. What better way to create chaos and fear – and get the left to rise up and riot than to portray the extreme Right, the racists Teabaggers, the knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers as the ones REVOKING and NULLIFYING a valid general election and removing the first minority President because of the color of his skin. The far left wants riots in the streets. They want this country to look like Greece or the current riots in London. They want people to be afraid and to come crawling to this current administration asking for “Help” and to make them feel safe (it‘s what happen in Germany in the 30’s, and the Czech Republic in the 50′s and it worked like a charm in each case).

    I believe that Glenn Beck knows the difference between a “birther” (wasn’t born in the US) and a “constitutionalist” (i.e. regardless of where he was born, his father not being a US Citizen at Barry’s birth means Barry fails to qualify as a “natural born citizen” required by Art. II, Sect. 1, Clause 5), so I understand him dismissing the “birthers”, but I‘m a little surprised he doesn’t stand with the “Constitutionalists” – unless he has the same fear that outing Obama now would play right into the hands of the radicals who want riots and chaos. Food for thought.

    I still don’t understand how the American people just shrugged their shoulders when Obama sealed every record on his past when every candidate before him has opened it all to the public. To refuse to show a birth certificate is an admission of guilt to one of 3 things.

    1. He fails the age requirement.
    2. He’s not who he says he is, or his parents aren’t who he says they are.
    3 He‘s wasn’t born where he said he was.

    I don’t know which one of these it is, but any one is enough to call for an investigation.

      We have old school yearbooks and interviews of people who went to school with him so we know his age. I never thought of the possibility that he may have come from other parents or that his Mom may have never been pregnant from the start. Maybe there are interviews of neighbors to put that one to bed also, but it is an interesting take. If the press wasn’t afraid of what it might find, there would be no questions. Very sad.

    I like what Glenn is doing for our country but I cannot for the life of me understand why he refuses to touch the “birther” issue. Glenn, Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen of the United States. Natural Born Citizenship requires two (2) parents both of whom are US citizens. Obama’s father was not and never was a US citizen as Barack himself wrote in his book. This is an open and shut case that a child could figure out. We, YOU Glenn Beck, should be harping on this to no end to get this fraudulent usurper who is rapidly destroying our country out of the White House. Don’t be a coward any longer, Glenn! You and O’Reilly are such disappointments concerning this subject. Otherwise, you’re doing a good job on the rest of the issues.

      But Glenn does not need to dig up or produce a long-form birth certificate or the doctor/nurse that was present. WHERE Mr. Obama was born doesn‘t even need to be discussed due to the simple fact that his father not being a US Citizen at Barry’s birth means that he was born with dual citizenship and therefore does not meet the Art. II, Section 1, Clause 5 “natural born Citizenship” requirement. Glenn would have a field day with this and could fill a full hour on his afternoon TV program on it if he really wanted to let his audience know that Mr. Obama does NOT meet the “natural born Citizen” requirement.

      What was the intent of the Framers by making only once office, that of the President, require more than just US Citizenship? What did the Framers mean by “natural born Citizen” since they did not define it? What influence did Vatell’s Law of Nations have on the Framers? Was there any correspondence between the Framers on this topic and what did they say? Why is our President being a “natural born Citizen” so important – both historically and today? Based on this information, what current political leaders would fail to meet this test as well (i.e. McCain? Rubio? Jindal?, etc.).

      Glenn is probably playing it safe. If Glenn comes out and makes accusations about Obama’s foreign birth without proof, he plays into the hands of the Left. I would like to see him address the issue too, but I‘m afraid he can’t do it without damaging his credibility. The last thing we need is Beck’s credibility tarnished. He is doing too much good to chance ruining it.

      Considering all that Glenn references to the Constitution, and even if he did not go near the Obama birth questions, it somewhat surprises me that he never goes near the structure of what defines an American Natural Born citizen, a Citizen and a Naturalized Citizen; and the entitlements and privileges that come with each. The qualifications and granted identity of a country‘s multiple citizenship’s and its entitlements is elementary and fundamentally the core to building any country since Cesar. Even our founding fathers thought citizenship identity was so important that they included an article of citizenship requirements for presidency in our Constitution to protect us from foreign loyalties. Everything important to the founding fathers is clearly important to Glenn….except this.

    This is why Obama will never run in 2012, he would have to be vetted by the states. And he cant get past that fact. So far the courts have held back the attac on his proof of birth, but it will be exposed sooner or later. I think this is one area Beck is wrong. Anyone can put a news clipping of a birth in a news paper anywhere in the world. I suspect his Grandparents placed the birth announcement in the paper while Stanly Dunahm was in Kenya. Could be wrong, but something stinks !

      Assuming that this country does not fall apart within the next 2 years, I think these political brokers on the right would prefer to wait until the 2012 election and hope that enough Secretaries of State of various Red states require Mr. Obama to show proof that he meets the definition of “natural born Citizen” (which is impossible for him to do because his father was never a US Citizen). Then Obama simply cannot run for a second term because of this problem, and then, at that point, the courts can get involved (this way Congress is not the “bad guy”) and nullify all legislation passed by Obama, remove all Supreme Court Justices appointed by Obama, etc. . . . . . And all of this can be done to a guy that is no longer in office as opposed to trying to remove a then sitting President.

      This is the only reasonable explanation that I can come up with . . . the fear by the Right that a removal of Obama is exactly what the Socialist/Marxists were planning on and hoping for, and so the higher-ups on the Right are not taking the bait, but instead using this Socialist/Marxist plan to their favor by exposing the extreme Left for who they truly are and rallying a new resurgence on the Right . . . and then waiting for things to play out where the States or the Courts rule that Obama cannot run for a second term and that he actually failed to meet the definition of “natural born Citizen” in the first instance, and then relying on the Courts to clean-up the mess after-the-fact.

      So what else is really new? I do not care for the deeds Mr Obama is doing to the country, and in the case of his birth certificate if he releases it then fine; another thing that can be done for anyone who is in the area of Hawaii he is suppose to be from, check the birth announcements on a libraries own microfish records of the era.

      Also anyone proficient in geneology research can be of great assistance in the region as well.

      I’m almost 72 years old and thoughout the course of my lifetime I have been asked to produce my birth certificate as proof of my birth and American citizenship. I had no problem conforming to what I was asked to do and my birth certificate was produced and proof of my American birth and citizenship were established. So Mr. President, what’ the problem ? Why can’t you conform to the rules and produce your American birth certificate ? Do you have an American birth certificate ? Are you or are you not a “natural born citizen’ of the USA ? If you’re not, then I can see the reason for refusing to produce your birth certificate, because, in doing so, you could disqualify yourself to hold the office of the POTUS and you could also go to prison.       For the record, I think Obama was born here.

      Looking at all the evidence I’ve seen, my best guess as to why Obama refuses to come out with his records is that he is, in fact, hiding something.

      My guess as to what it is? I think he committed academic and fiscal fraud while in college by applying to Occidental as a foreign exchange (or foreign born) student, using his step father’s credentials, in the effort to go to school for free using federal foreign student grants.

      Given the amount of money that it takes to find an education (even back then) it would easily rise to the level of felony fraud against the U.S. federal government. Being found out to have committed felonious fraud would have decemated his campaign and would have made him inelligible to be PotUS, even if he made it through the general election.

      Now that he’s President, if it were found out to be true, it would also make him impeachable. There’s no Constitutional mandate that “high crimes and misdemeanors” have to be committed while sitting as PotUS. It could be something you did long before running (technically, long after leaving office, as well).

      The stakes have been raised well past this point, now. If he was found to have been inelligible all along, everything he’s ever signed would be invalidated. A law can‘t legally be signed by someone who wasn’t elligible to be PotUS in the first place.

      That last reason is why it’s very likely that none of us will ever know, and our grandkids and great-grandkids (as adults) will have to use to fight healthcare in the courts, since it takes 75 years for these types of records to be released after the death of the President in question (as least, that was the Kennedy standard).

      It was all too convenient when Mr. Obama’s grandmother was dying and he had to go see her in Hawaii. However, if you actually research the time line of when he announced to the public that she was sick and when he actually went to go see her, it was over a week. Now who would wait a week to make a final visit to a relative? Maybe someone who had other reasons for going, like to have his birth records sealed by the govenor, and do you actually think they would be so sloppy that they would not cover their tracks. This is a conspiracy people and now we will never know. To be the first emperor of America their is no requirements of being an American born citizen!

      Left, that is the most reasoned guess I‘ve heard yet regarding why Obama doesn’t clear up the mystery of his birth certificate or release his college records. It all fits ‘like a glove’. Something for someone with connections and influence to look into. Maybe we should give Asange a call in prison. He may have evidence ….

      He’s entitled to his own opinion in the matter. I disagree with him. So does most of America. While this is still America he can think what he wants. Players, actors & musicians need to understand we care how they hit the ball, act in a role or make good music. That’s it. We really don’t care what they believe politically. Most of the time they vomit up some sound bite of stupidity for the media to jump on & this guy will be villified.

      What makes you think most Americans think he was born her? Certainly most didn’t vote for him, less than half showed up to vote at all, and barely over half of those that did voted for him, even with all the voter fraud generated for him by acorn and seiu. At least half of the liberals I know admit they think he might not have been born here, they just don’t care.

If she was still alive, then WHY would your wife and grammas ONLY 2 grandaughters NOT go with daddy to see her before she died?       Good for him! I’m not sure if bin obama was born here but the facts are:
      1) When he received his scholarship to attend Occidental College he had to be a foreign national, as American Citizens were not eligible.
      2) He has never released a birth certificate that was truthful; the one that was released had type set that was not invented when he was born.

      So, either he is lying now or he lied then……either way….HE IS A LIER !!

      How many people would spend $2,000,000+ in defense of not producing “proof” that they possess?

      Maybe the new majority in the House will have the stones to have hearings to find out ????

      THE US MILITARY AND STATE DEPARTMENT SHOULD HIDE ALL ITS SECRETS WHERE OBAMA HIDES HIS COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS AND BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

      When the Russians release copies of Obama;s birth certificate there must be many military tribunals for High Treason and a lot of fireing squad executions. Many hundreds of Democrats and News Media people who cooperated in the deception will have to die. The US made a big mistake after the Civil War when it failed to execute one Confederat State politician or General. Even Jefferson Davis never was tried for treason. We must not make that mistake again with Obama.

      The theory that obam refuses to show his birth certificate to avoid academic/fiscal fraud disclosure is negated by the fact that obam could show his birth certificate exclusively without showing his school and other records. Doing so, would pull a big thorn out of his side and simultaneously let the air out of his opposition’s birther-balloon. The vast majority would be satisfied with just his birth certificate and would then, very likely, drop their demands for his other records. If obam had a legitimate birth certificate, this option would have occurred to his handlers. The fact that his birth certificate continues to be concealed reveals that his devastating secret is birth certificate related.

      Barack Obama has spent millions of tax dollars with an army of attorneys to not have to show his original, long-form birth certificate.

      This issue has been brewing and growing for at least three years… Why has Obama allowed this issue to fester? Why doesn’t he end the doubts and simply produce his birth certificate?

      All these years, I had what I thought was a birth certificate from the hospital. A few years ago, I needed a passport. To get a passport, I needed a “long birth certificate”. Mr.Obama, can you produce a long birth certificate?

      @leftfighter makes some good points. For the record I believe there is a high probability that he was born in Hawaii. However it is very concerning why he hides everything. I think @leftfighter is right on the money. He has something very embarrassing he’s hiding. Couple that with what can only be described as absolute incompetence, and you have to question any college degree he has. He just doesn’t seem very bright to me. Now I work in a science and technology arena and may have a little higher expectation than some, but he’s not the brightest bulb. One caveat to this theory is that, it should be very easy to produce a real birth certificate, not the document that is given to a residence of Hawaii that were born out of the country (which is what he has produced thus far). So I might put the odds at 60% that he is a natural born American.
