MLB Manager Who Apologized for Praising Fidel Castro Tells Reporter to ‘Fu**ing Grow Up’ for Asking About Praising Fidel Castro

Remember last month when Miami Marlins Manager Ozzie Guillen was suspended five games and gave an emotional apology for praising Cuban dictator Fidel Castro? Remember how self-deprecating he was following that? And remember how some were skeptical? Well the skeptics are saying “I told you so” today.
That’s because Guillen was back to his old, profane, explosive self on Tuesday. Sportstalk 610′s Paul Gallant — in Houston — decided to ask Guillen if the backlash against Guillen for his comments had “died down” while the Marlins were in town to play the Astros. It’s a legitimate question considering Guillen manages in a city with plenty of Cuban immigrants and many of them were enraged following his comments. Guillen’s response to the question?
“Fu**ing grow up, motherfu**er. You kidding me?”
Well okay, then. Here it is for your consideration (warning — it is not edited):
Is it understandable that Guillen might be fed up with talking about his gaffe by now? Of course. But the reality is, when you praise a dictator and are suspended for it, part of your punishment is having to talk about it. For a long time.
“It‘s nice to know that Ozzie Guillen hasn’t learned a thing or changed a bit,” the popular sports blog Awful Announcing concludes.

When Ozzie returned as Manager I was happy but I thought unless Ozzie had grown up or changed he would be a loud muoth buffoon and very ignorant.

We soon became unhappy as Ozzie used terrible language, he had his children in the locker-room running around, eventually video taping the GM, Ozzie became a boor and threw his own players under ther bus rather than face up to his own managerial inadequacies.He would tell us how prepared “theese teem eez” every spring only to blame loss after loss on their unpreparedness “although we went over theeses last spring”.I could not wait for Ozzie to leave and every sox fan I know felt similarly. Ozzie won‘t change and he is the loud mouth buffoon I thought he was and added to that is after 25 years in America he thinks so little of us he still can’t complete and understndable sentence in ,English. The Marlins have made a huge blunder with Ozzie and baseball compounds it by praising Ozzie and having him on baseball shows as if he has something important to add, he doesn’t.He will soon show his arogance by telling every “I got more money than I need” to mock the owners, the fans and America.

When a reporter asks if things have cooled down the answer is simple you say something along the lines of I am concentrating on the our team and hopefully that will assuage the situation. It just poured gas on the fire to tell a professional reporter to F——- Grow up. class act how many professionals keep a job dealing with the public after saying what he did. He should have know that this question would come up and had a simple straight forward answer.
