Mohammed Becomes ‘Most Popular’ Boy Name in Britain

The name Mohammed has officially become the most popular name for newborn boys in Britain. According to the UK’s Mail Online, Mohammed replaces Jack, which had topped the list for the last 14 years.
A total of 7,549 newborns were given 12 variations of the Islamic prophet Mohammed’s name last year, such as Muhammad and Mohammad.
The name Mohammed first debuted on the top 100 in 1944 when it ranked 87th. By 1964 it had risen to 73rd. But since 1999, the Mail Online reports the name’s frequency has increased by more than 50%.
The upsurge in the name’s frequency likely mirrors a growing population of Muslims residing in the UK. Just last week, the Telegraph ran an expose on one London borough populated nearly entirely by Muslims, dubbed “Britain’s Islamic Republic.”

In some Catholic countries almost every boy was named Joseph and every girl named Mary, with their second names being the ones they generally go by. It’s less like that now. But Muhammad is like that for Muslims now. Thus, while non-Muslims choose every name under the sun muslims gravitate toward the most revered names, Muhammad being top of the list. If Muslims are 5%, but the vast majority of them pick Muhammad so that his name represents 4% of the total while every non-Muslim name only gets 1-3% tops, muhammad will win at 4% even though 96% of children AREN’T named Muhammad.

Now in England when playing dodge ball in school the first team captain makes his first pick of players to join his team and he says, “ Mohammed”. All but one boy walk over to the first captains side leaving poor Jack as the last and only pick left for the other team captains team. Just plain sad to fight off the Nazis only to be conquered by a bunch suicidal of camel jockeys.

Admittance into the U.S.A. was always a privilege, a willing desire to become what was “American”. The requirement was assimilate, become that which drove the country forward. With large groups failing to assimilate, the country is no longer “American” but a collection of disparate cultures.
It is right and good to be proud of your heritage, but it is wrong and dangerous to live in America in name only and rebuild the culture of the country you left to find freedom in this country. This is a recipe for civil unrest and high friction between the cultures. History shows that the result of this undisciplined approach to immigration are very bad indeed. If, as an immigrant, your aim is to live free, please adopt the ways of freedom, the culture of freedom, the responsibility of freedom, learn and live the constitution and then you can be free.

Posted on October 28, 2010 at 8:21pmOne thing to consider is that the name of Mohammad and its variants are also common among a number of middle-eastern Christian families, also with Pakistani area families; I have known both, where the name given to one of the male children was done so in honor of a grand parent or both of the grand parents.
Yes the growth of Islam is a concern among many countries, and I do share the concern, which to me means the Christians of the world need to demonstrate a living-breathing-dynamic faith to the world better by the lives we live in addition to what we preach.

They’re just keeping quiet right now because our citizens are still armed. Thats why the gun grab is so important, it’s the key to taking over our country.
