‘Moon Over New Jersey’: Chris Matthews Mocks Chris Christie’s Weight

Newsbusters:

Hardball host Chris Matthews appeared at a local event in Washington D.C. on Thursday to trash Republican Chris Christie as too fat to be President. The Washington Examiner reported that Matthews derided the New Jersey governor, mocking, “Chris Christie is moon over New Jersey, he should not wear white shirts, I tell you that.”

He continued, “I saw him the other day and I was amazed by it, he must be 300 plus, and that’s something he’s just gotta deal with because you’re not going to say, ‘I’m going to cut the budget,’ well, how about starting with supper?”

    The left and all democrats only have Chris Christie’s weight to hammer him on. They are so worried he might run for president and annihilate Obama in knowledge, ideas and in the polls. Christie is such an awesome governor, that this is all the ammo they have, just like with Sarah Palin, she was formidable, so lets make her look stupid, to make her irrelevant. Now lets make Christie’s weight an issue.

However, don’t forget that I believe it was Rush said that mrs clinton could not be president if photos of her in pants (and from the back) ever hit the web. We bridged the ‘racial’ divide when we (they) elected obomba, and I know michele (my belle) is doing her part to get us down to size (think she could do something for D C); I just have to think that, as overweight americans, we can get past Chris Christie’s waistline and concentrate on his message (as MLK said his character).

      When the Michael Moore post ran the other day, we were quick to jump on the fat joke bandwagon.
      Glenn Beck faithful are not the only ones who read this public site. We have a wealth of ideas and can argue a progressive under the table any day of the week. Character assasination and personal insults are juvinile tools, no matter what the forum, or level of frustration.

I never thought I could ever agree with him, but I do on this point, the Republicans do have a sad record of running their dead wood for president.       When the worst thing you can say about someone has to do with his physical appearance, that someone is doing a great job as governor.

      Remember: these people cannot attack his philosophy because his philosophy is right, so they must attack his character. And, they assume that people who are overweight have character flaws. Can’t a guy just like to eat? There are much, much worse vices. Although, I suppose Mr. Matthews and company believes they should be controlling what the governor eats… They must protect us from ourselves.

      Good parenting requires to much time for a devote lib to do it. They might miss a rally or wine tasting because they can’t find a babysitter to watch their spoiled rotten children.
