More Hints of Likely Bachmann Run for President

More Hints of Likely Bachmann Run for President

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Rep. Michele Bachmann plans to participate in a presidential debate in New Hampshire this month, a move that further signals the Minnesota Republican expects to be a candidate for the 2012 nomination.

Bachmann will be on stage for the June 13 debate in Manchester, N.H. That’s according to Bachmann aide Andy Parrish.

The congresswoman says she will announce her plans for 2012 this month in Iowa, the state that hosts the leadoff presidential caucuses.

She has been laying campaign groundwork in Iowa by hiring senior political staff and scouting campaign office space. She has also traveled to the early primary states of New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Also expected to participate in the New Hampshire debate: Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Herman Cain and Mitt Romney.

It does not matter who runs, our 2012 president has long been chosen
    for the slaves,

She won’t get enough votes. I also think Palin has bought a house in Az. for another reason. Maybe she want to unseat Harry Reid. That would be wonderful. Establishing residencey in advcance is a smart move. I think there are too many running for president. Only one of them has to take 1 percent more votes to win the election for potus. The unions people will get out there and make sure someone wins, that can’t beat Obama. ANYONE BUT OBAMA

I like MB , but she has no resume to run for President.
Bachmann has two years in the House.
She has never held an executive office and her service in the House has produced no legislation. Bachmann has hardly any resume worth mentioning.

It now appears that the establishment and the media wants to push Bachmann in an attempt to undermine Sarah Palin; they know Bachmann can not win but she can take votes from Sarah Palin

One amusing thing about Sarah Palin potentially running is we get to listen to journalists and pundits who would normally be trashing Bachmann , praise her 6 ways to Sunday in hopes that Sarah Palin will be diminished by it.

I think she is just “stiring up” everything and creating excitement. I believe Michelle will run and Palin will put her weight behind her. I don’t think however Sarah would run as VP. either. First she would not ever be second in command, and I do not believe that a ticket with BACHMANN./ PALIN would ever work. I think the Country considers Michelle less polarizing and there fore would be more electable. I also do not believe BOTH women would run against one another. If Bachmann won the election I believe Palin wouild be her advisor. IMO

Since a “Black” man was elected in 2008, only another Black man or woman (black or white) can be elected in 2012. For a Black man, Adam West is my choice, for a female, Sarah Palin is my choice. These two persons both have integrity, and aren’t intimidated by the lefty loons. Michelle Bachmann is an outstanding woman, but Sarah Palin outshines her by sheer accomplishments.

I‘d vote for Bachmann only if Palin isn’t running. It would be an unprecedented, historical, event to have a woman as President of the United States of American. Madame Palin or Bachmann would make me very happy.

You blazers make fun of people for this same kind of racist and sexist logic, but you buy into your own b.s. Just because a black man was elected President doesn’t mean every subsequent President will be black, and it doesn’t mean the racial divide in America has simply vanished.

Now, in 2012, the President probably will be black–namely Barack Obama, as I don’t think any candidate with the possible exceptions of Romney and Pawlenty has even the slightest appeal to any voters outside the conservative base.

I have lived in the metro Atlanta area for the last decade. Herman Cain has had a regular conservative radion show where he displayed a great knowledge and candor. He speaks in plain language, has immense core beliefs and takes no bs from anyone. He was a fill in for Neal Boortz and is just incredible. Please don’t count him out until you do YOUR due diligence. I believe that if you actually study him you will feel the same way that I do… Herman Cain is not a politician, which is a great plus (IMHO)… I do like Michelle Bachmann, too! I listened to Michael Reagan talk about how McCain ended up running in ‘08. What he said made so much sense. (Paraphrasing) The group of conservative candidates was too big. We spread our vote through the lot of them. McCain won the votes of the people who were left of conservative.

I’m concerned this will happen again. The lot is amazing, but if we each pick our favorite – a moderate will win the primary. We can’t allow it, but what shall we do???? Any ideas?!!!!

It has to be someone who will go nose to nose with BO. Someone with GRIT. I see three people that fit that bill, for me…..

    West
    Palin
    Cain
Ryan (but he‘s insisting that he’s not going to run)
At this point West is my first choice. He says he’ll consider a run if his constituents ask him to.
    BO can’t win against him.

They aren’t afraid to challenge BO. Ryan has, actually, challenged him (publicly) and BO looked like ridiculous.

Bachmann, Pawlenty, Paul, DeMint are wonderful, but I wonder about their grit ……DeMint is amazing. Grit?

Palin wiped the floor with Biden in debates, not sure how she would hold up going toe to toe with BO. I love Paul Ryan, but he’s doing what he needs to be doing right now, and that‘s being a thorn in the administration’s side. I think a dream ticket would be Cain/West.

As a rule of thumb, whoever the Down Stream Media attacks most vociferously, would be the one they fear the most.
