‘Morning Joe’s’ Mika Brzezinski – Spreading The Class Warfare Over Shoes

Mika Brzezinski, the hall monitor and newscaster on MSNBC’s “Morning Jo,” wrapped up a nice big birthday present and delivered it to President Obama this morning. What did she get for Mr. Obama? More support for the President’s efforts to create a class war between the wealthy and the middle class.

During the show’s opening segment (which repeats almost daily in the show’s third hour), and in the middle of a serious discussion about the persistent economic problems in our economy, Mika seems to be taken with a story in the NY Times.

Watch as Ms. Brzezinski squirms in her seat, paying almost no attention to the actual topic of the moment, waiting for an opening to shove in a story about a woman buying an expensive pair of shoes (we spared you the pain of watching 2:00 of Mika holding up the paper hoping to be noticed):

Based on all indications, Ms. Brzezinski has no idea about the identity of the woman buying the shoes. The Times identifies the the shameless shoe shopper as Lissette Gutierrez:

She only wants to let the viewers know that buying expensive shoes is “living shamelessly”:

Nowhere in her reckless rant does Mika mention anything about the fact that rising sales at luxury retail outlets may be a sign that the economy has turned a corner. Ms. Brzezinski also seems to neglect the fact that luxury stores have to employ workers on many levels. Any sector of the economy that experiences increases in business has the potential to spur growth in many other areas.

      Wow if she was patting her self on the back any harder she might of pulled a muscle. Who is she to criticize anyone on how they spend their money. She probably bought the same pair of shoes herself. The article also made a valid point on how that store does employ the middle class, so trying to demonize the rich for spending $1500 for a pair of shoes is also demonizing the employees that work there. Liberals need to stop talking out of both sides of their faces, but then again let them keep it up it will show their true agenda more and more the the American people.

      I’m sure Mika has a great clothing budget written in her MSNBC contract, but if she keeps the wardrobe is she being taxed on the cost of her wardrobe?       @Therightsofbilly Oh and $1,500 for a pair of shoes results in virtually no distribution of wealth to the workers as it doesn’t necessarily require more labor and they are not necessarily paid more. It probably shifts laterally along the respective economic strata.

    I thought that the big problem with the economy was that all of the greedy rich people weren’t spending their money and therefore not helping to stimulate the economy. So now the liberals not only want to have a say not only if you should or shouldn’t spend your money, but they also want to be able to say what you spend your money on.     Greg Gutfeld and Bob Beckel, co-hosts of Fox News’ 5 PM show “The Five,” were discussing Palin—who makes at least $1 million a year as a Fox News contributor—on the show Tuesday. Gutfeld, who also hosts the late night show “Red Eye,” said he felt awkward whenever the subject came up.

    “The only problem with talking about Sarah Palin is that she works here, and it’s like a coworker,” he said. “And if I say something bad and I see her in the hallway I feel really awkward and wrong. So I just kind of say, ‘that was a good job!’”

    I think the government should regulate how much a person can pay for shoes. Better yet, the government should give us all uniforms so that we know that we are all treated the same.

    I called Joe’s radio show one time because Mika spoke about how she had been mugged while leaving her Washington D.C. Hotel, the man stealing her money. She actually said she felt bad “she didn’t have more money on her” when she was mugged. That’s what kind of a LOON she is.
