“All hail Shep Smith at Fox News, and I’m not kidding,” MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow boasted Tuesday evening, praising the FNC anchor for pursuing answers from Republican members of Congress on the 9/11 first responders bill. Apparently Maddow has no problem with Fox when their coverage coincides with her own opinion:
Indeed, Shep has been holding Republicans’ feet to the fire over the 9/11 first responders bill, but it may come as a surprise to Maddow to know that this is far from the first time Fox News anchors have pressed the GOP to defend its positions. I‘d encourage Maddow to tune into Megyn Kelly’s daily show, America Live, as she takes no bull from anyone. Ever. And we love her for it.
I applaud Maddow for recognizing one good thing about her competitor’s work — a big step toward maturity for a network that features Keith Olbermann’s nightly rants about how inferior Fox is. But it didn‘t take long for Maddow’s moment of clarity to fade as she brought out Michael Moore for the next segment — “Leadership in America.”

Posted on December 22, 2010 at 9:49pmIf anyone in the MSM or in polotics actually paid attention FOX’s news coverage is incredibly fair, the objections are fom 5-6pm & then 8pm until about 5-6am because that’s the “opinion” programming.
I look at it this way, if the political class doesn’t like FOX, then the’re probably doing something right.
As far as Sheppard Smith goes, I can’t really nail down his politics…although he is very passionate. He went after the admin over the gulf spill & like a lot of people was very upset about the 1st responders.

Posted on December 22, 2010 at 9:51pmNo you don’t. You go against it just because the other side says something about it.

Posted on December 22, 2010 at 6:32pmShep Smith and Rachel Maddow, both sisters under the skin. Two peas in a pod, if you know what I mean. AND they are both far left wing Liberal Nutballs. I wish Shepard would go over to MessNBC and open up one of his worthless spots for someone REALLY worth watching.

Posted on December 22, 2010 at 8:23pmNow here speaks a truly “brilliant” mind. Neither side is truly a devil (although we sometimes do wonder about the princess, Harry and company) and for certain neither side is an angel. We need honesty, not just what we want to hear. that’s what the citizens have been listening to far too long – what they want to hear – not the truth.

Posted on December 22, 2010 at 5:49pmCoherent people are well aware of the facts because they DO listen to Fox News. We are also aware of the traitors who speak against the American People. Withholding critical information from the public is indeed, working against this country. Aiding the enemy is treason, MSNBC does it on a daily basis.
