MSNBC Host: ‘Gendercide’ Is a Constitutional Right

Interpreting the United States Constitution is an extremely thorny job, not to be undertaken lightly by anyone, and most certainly not by amateurs. Indeed, the job of interpreting the constitution is so difficult that American society has only deemed a grand total of 9 lawyers capable of doing it at any one time.

Unfortunately, even those lawyers haven’t always come to conclusions that follow from the document. Which has, in turn, led many confused people to believe the Constitution actually says things that in actuality were only dreamed up by judges. For instance, the “right” to an abortion appears nowhere in the text of the Constitution.

However, even the judges who supported that particular “right” probably wouldn’t have gone as far as MSNBC host Alex Wagner, who more or less implied that the “right to choose” implies the right to choose a child’s gender by systematically terminating any fetus that develops the wrong set of sex organs. Mercifully, GBTV’s S.E. Cupp was there to call her on it:

The brief, 30 second exchange can be summed up as follows. Wagner and Democratic strategist Patti Solis Doyle accuse the GOP of “fear mongering” by raising the subject of sex-selective abortion, claiming the fight over this was settled “20 years ago.”

In response, S.E. Cupp replies, with more than a hint of sarcasm, “I don’t remember having this fight. The fight over, ‘can you kill babies,’ yeah, but ‘can you kill them because you wanted a boy?‘ I don’t remember having this fight.”

“The fight over a woman’s right to choose was settled by the Supreme Court,” Wagner replies with enough smugness to kill a small animal.

“To choose the gender?” Cupp fires back.

“It‘s about a woman’s right to choose,” Wagner repeats, as though speaking to a child.

Now, one fact should be noted regarding this particular exchange, which occurred in a debate over a law that would have banned sex-selective abortions, and which failed to pass Congress today. However, had it passed, then it‘s far from clear that Wagner’s monomaniacal reliance on an existing Constitutional right would convince a court to strike the law down. This is hardly the first time an established constitutional right has been curtailed in the name of fighting private discrimination. In fact, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which banned businesses from discriminating on the basis of color, did precisely the same thing in curtailing the rights to assembly and property (rights which actually appear in the Constitution) as a method of fighting segregation. No Constitutional right is absolute, and it’s silly for Wagner to pretend that this one is.

Why is it that a woman has a right to kill her child but she does not have a right to be a prostitute? If a woman is in control of her body, why can’t she sell it for sex? Why can’t she sell a kidney? It is “her body” after all. The government tells women they cannot sell their bodies; they cannot sell a kidney. A woman can only kill her child. Not really many choices there ladies. One. Big whoop. When will women wake up and realize the government controls their body, not them.

These self righteous, ignorant, arrogant people that think the murder of millions of babies will go unnoticed by God make me sad and angry.

The murder of the unborn, whether for convenience or gender selection, is a sin against God. The people that preach that it is a woman’s right are just as guilty of that sin as the one who has the abortion or the one who performs it is.

James Wilson, a framer of the U.S. Constitution, explained as follows:

“With consistency, beautiful and undeviating, human life, from its commencement to its close, is protected by the common law. In the contemplation of law, life begins when the infant is first able to stir in the womb. By the law, life is protected not only from immediate destruction, but from every degree of actual violence, and, in some cases, from every degree of danger.”

In colonial America, abortions were prosecuted under the common law. After the Revolution, the new American states adopted the common law of England as the basis of their own law, including common law crimes.

Why don’t you give me the legal or scientific definition of what makes someone a person? A satisfactory answer would specifically include how a newborn is a person but an unborn is not. While you‘re doing that why don’t you explain exactly how an unborn child is part of its mother’s body if:
      1. It has its own distinct DNA.
      2. It has its own blood and circulatory system (it has a heartbeat)
      3. It has its own central nervous system

I have to say, I am a bit confused.
Why is it that the libs insist that conservatives or Christians don‘t ’believe’ in science, yet the more scientifically advanced we become and can determine factual things such as development of a baby in utero and no presence of a ‘homosexual gene’ they insist we are stupid even with scientific facts to back us up, but things like man made global warming and their theory of how life began is a closed subject even though there is no fact to conclusively back it up? Not even close.
It’s as though they live in a la la land. Why do they hate science and facts soo dang much?
I might be a big dumb-dummy, but when you start deciding to end a life based on gender, the thought of ending life based on hair color or race, class levels, political persuasions of the parents is not far behind.
That a person could have this discussion w/o feeling a twinge of anything, may just prove how depraved their conscience and soul truly are.

Here are some scientific facts to consider also:

“Day 22: heart begins to beat with the child’s own blood, often a different type than the mothers’.”
      nrlc.org/abortion/facts/fetaldevelopment.html

“5 weeks: Also the placenta begins functioning, known as the chorionic villi and the umbilical cord, through which the baby will receive nourishment and oxygen.”
      baby2see.com/development/first_trimester.html

“The placenta has been described as a pancake-shaped organ that attaches to the inside of the uterus and is connected to the fetus by the umbilical cord…The placenta is responsible for working as a trading post between the mother‘s and the baby’s blood supply. Small blood vessels carrying the fetal blood run through the placenta, which is full of maternal blood. Nutrients and oxygen from the mother’s blood are transferred to the fetal blood, while waste products are transferred from the fetal blood to the maternal blood, without the two blood supplies mixing.”
      americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/fetallifesupportsystem.html

Life is in the blood. Leviticus 17:11-14; Genesis 9:4, 6-7

“All men are CREATED equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

A child in the womb IS formed, or CREATED, with ALL HIS RIGHTS ATTACHED, as his Rights are UNALIENABLE, inherent, and NATURAL. The state cannot deny that which God has granted.

Human intelligence is what makes someone a person. A newborn is living in the world not its mother’s body, so it can exercise free will, and because it is now perceiving the world through its senses the development of a human mind has begun. For the reasons you mentioned, a fetus is not truly part of the mother’s body, but it is also not yet a person. Just in case it does start to experience some form of sensory perception prior to birth, I consider it generally preferable to not kill a fetus in the last month or two of gestation.

      @chet
You’re arguing without knowledge. A newborn‘s mental development is so low it can’t even recognize faces for at least a month or two. All it perceives is undefined images and sounds, the same as before it was born. In fact, the Blaze even reported on an “ethicist” who said that if it is okay to abort a child it should be okay to “abort” a newborn.

On top of that, your argument has farther reaching effects than you realize. What about people who through illness or injury have no upper brain function? What about coma patients or the elderly with dementia? And you still didn‘t explain how the mother gets to be the decision maker for life or death of a human life that by your own admission isn’t part of her body.

Once again, you used the word “person” to make a point when there is no scientific definition for person-hood. I can test to see if a fetus is human, I can‘t test to see if it’s a person. How can you be certain it isn’t one?

Obviously the formation of a human mind doesn’t happen overnight. I see birth as the point when the process really begins, and then say don’t abort for a month or two before that just to be on the safe side.

What about people who through illness or injury have no upper brain function?
      Kill them.

      What about coma patient ..
It depends, people do come out of comas sometimes. You have to make that call on a case by case basis knowing what caused the coma, how long have they been in, how deep is it, etc.

      the elderly with dementia?
If they’re still speaking occasionally, then they are at least smarter than an animal, whether anything they say makes sense or not. If they get to the point when the have less of a mind than a newborn infant, then kill them.

Who says people aren’t allowed to commit suicide? They do it every day. If you try and fail they hold you for three days, but you’re free to try again after that. I never said you aren’t allowed to commit suicide. Call me up in the middle of the night and all you’ll get is “Well, okay. It sounds like you have good and valid reasons. Go ahead.”

Assisted suicide has to be illegal just because that’s the only way to keep people form murdering their relatives and claiming it was an assisted suicide. I favor giving the terminally ill access to firearms and explosives so they won’t have to ask someone else to do their dirty work.

I’m sorry, but this part of women’s rights is B.S.. Because you have rights, doesn’t mean you can just fling you legs open to any guy you wish.. You are still responsible for yourself.. I was taught if I were to get a girl pregnant, I was to be a man and do the right thing.. I chose my partner carefully.. We are raising our child, together… Women, you need to be held to the same standard.. I bet if you look at the unwanted pregnancies before women’s rights passed, the difference would be staggering.. Now, I‘m not saying women shouldn’t have rights, but you need to use your rights responsibly… Put these women through the “Shotgun Wedding” paces.. Because you see women, you have never dealt with the fear of a girls old man once you got her pregnant.. Men still deal with that, even if you get an abortion… Women can blame men all they want, but they are holding the reset button.. And men will keep on playing, as long as they keep pushing it… Abortion, get the F outa here, and women up.

It’s true that the end result is the same but the intent is different, and much more malicious. The left has framed the arguement for abortion around the idea that the mother, or parents, don’t want to bring a child into the world that they can not, or don’t want to, take care of and thus by terminating it‘s life it’s one less child the Government has to provide for.
However, when one chooses to terminate based on gender one must assume that the mother, or parents, are willing to have a child, just not one of a specific gender. That is a vastly different premise that the left’s original arguement. Unless females babies are more dangerous to deliver than male babie which lend itself to the woman‘s health arguement but I’d enjoy seeing someone make that case.
Lastly, a woman would have to wait longer to abort if waiting for confirmation on gender which would also potentially cost the tax payer more in mediciad. There are moral and fiscal differences.

If the left wants a fight, I‘ll give ’em that fight.. Not all life is precious, as displayed by these sick SOBees. I’ll take the side of those in the womb.

I have always thought innocent life, that of a child, young or unborn is precious but when it comes to someone who wants to end mine for no reason then the value I place on them is 0.

women have the right to choose

what is arguable is WHEN THAT CHOICE OCCURS

does it occur BEFORE you participate in an act that might end in pregnany

    or

does that choice occur AFTER you have acted, and you are merely choosing the consequence

i believe that womans choice comes BEFORE she decides to act, thus anything that happens AFTER that choice is called consequence, and she should learn to accept that

    choice

    action

    consequence

liberals really really hate that last part

How do you sit with these wretches, S.E? Anyway, these ‘ladies’ are the saddest humans on earth. They will be equally sad in eternity if they keep this evil up.

MSNBC, you are many things, but mostly wicked. May you fail sooner than later for the sake of the unborn and so many other people that watch your tripe.
