MSNBC Host: Mitt Is a Tax ‘Criminal,‘ Made ’Stupid,‘ ’Amateur,’ Mistake & His Wife Is Angry

There must be a poll showing that the Democrats‘ demand to see 10 years of Mitt Romney’s taxes has gained some traction with undecided voters. If not, what could possibly explain the total obsession with the topic displayed by MSNBC‘s Lawrence O’Donnell?
During just one segment on last night‘s episode of O’Donnell’s 10PM show (Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell), the host:
- Referred to Romney’s tax returns as “secret tax returns” on three separate occasions
- Called the former governor “stupid” and a “tax criminal”
- Boldly stated “I strongly suspect there is a tax felony in his tax returns”
- Twice depicted Mrs. Romney as “the angry Mrs. Romney”
Let’s start with the last item on that list. In recent days, Mrs. Romney has increased her public profile and appeared on NBC’s primetime program “Rock Center with Brian Williams.” Prior to O‘Donnell’s statement, I had seen no mention of that interview using words like “angry” or even confrontational. Don’t take my word for it, here is the clip that was played after Mrs. Romney was twice called “angry” (and the “stupid” and “amateur” part is in there, too):
Angry? Perhaps MSNBC’s production crew played the wrong clip? Doubtful.
Just a few minutes later, the host — in a discussion with panelists Karen Finney and Chris Hayes — continued the attack on Romney and he actually called the candidate a tax “criminal.”

And they are worried about Romney’s tax returns? Well, I suggest that Romney produce copies of checks ao electronic fund transfers made to the IRS (Blocking out routing and account numbers). The actual copies of his returns and exactly how and where he earned his income is NOBODY’S BUSINESS!
The Mainstream Media is far too busy bowing down and worshiping their IDOL Obama to ask him any of these questions.

Obama is the most powerful man in the world, he has resources beyond our imagination. Do you think records could suddenly appear that will make it look like he’s been paying his “fair share” his whole life.
I could be wrong but it seems to me someone should have the ability to subpoena tax returns from the IRS. Wouldn’t that clear the air? At least the threat of a subpoena would shut everyone up and get back to the issues.

Unfortunately, with the exception of the angry thing which of course is neither substantive or meaningful, the assertions regarding Romney’s tax returns is much closer to the truth than you or anyone wants to admit. As someone much wiser and more professional than this staff pointed out….. Romney has done the calculation and releasing his tax returns must carry a bigger cost than not releasing them” – George Will. Romney is very careful to say he has paid at least 13% in taxes, which of course includes real estate, state taxes, sales taxes and who knows he might be including taxes on gasoline. Vote against Obama if you will, but let’s admit that Romney is a sneak and a liar who is of poor character and a bad example of citizenship.

However, he is not an “American”. Having been educated in Hawaii in the 60′s / 70′s you were not taught what it was to be an American or American history, you were taught to be Hawaiian and taught Hawaiian history. All the Left would have to do is start picking at this deduction or that, and though it may all be completely legal, the insinuation that there is something irregular or nefarious would be enough to question his integrity. Remember, his returns are going to be extremely thick and completed by expert tax accountants and tax attorneys.
I make nothing and have no investments and yet my tax guy is able to make my return about an inch thick. I have no idea what some of the forms are. Yet this tax firm is as legal as they come.
Do you think Romney will be able to answer questions on all the forms his tax guys put in his return? Nobody can at that level. So they can bring up question after question, charge after charge, and leave him defending himself until the election, which is what King Hussein wants him to do, so his lousy record is forgotten and the people are distracted. It is the old magician trick. Watch this hand while I fool the stupid public with the other.

I’ll counter by saying, the average intelligent person can see, and understand, that the sources, such as O’Donnells rhetoric, and Harry Reids statements, have no merit. Reid got a phone call, he says, (probably someone from the White House), that Romney hasn’t paid taxes for 10 years. A nice round number, BTW. Woulda been more believable had he said 7 years. My point is, considering the sources of these allegations, and how they go about with the angry rhetoric, i.e., O’Donnell and his ilk, the average intelligent person can deduce who is honest and believable.

Now, how much intelligence does it take to make Home Depot one of the most profitable, customer-centric big box stores in the country?
