MSNBC Host Slams NYT’s Paul Krugman: ‘Blind Ideologue’ Loved by Bloggers in Their ‘Underwear’

In response to a Paul Krugman Op-Ed titled the “Centrist Copout” that lambastes calls for compromise over the debt ceiling-and places all blame for all things on Republicans, Joe Scarborough let loose some rhetorical jabs at the New York Times Columnist on his MSNBC show this morning.
Scarborough tore into Krugman, whom he believes writes “the same column for a decade and blames everything including earthquakes halfway across the world on republican extremism, at some point…somebody could look at an op-ed and say, ‘Eh. Perhaps there’s a seed of truth to that.’”
After Mika Brzezinski tries to get the panel to agree with the substance of Krugman’s Op-Ed, and Mike Barnicle interjects the charge of “faculty lounge” a few times, Scarborough unleashed his best lines of the segment on Krugman:
“He is influential because if you’re a blogger and you‘re still living in your mom’s basement, and you got Cheetos all over your keyboard, you type in your underwear…then yes you look at Paul Krugman and you think, ‘He is my hero,’ because he is like a lot of bloggers on the left and the right, a blind ideologue.

Posted on July 29, 2011 at 3:28pmKrugman is an idealogue first and an economist second. All events facts are twisted to fit his progressive ideology. How smart some one is, is no guarantee of being right. I cringe at the thought of living in a Krugman designed economy.
Report Post »hauschild
Posted on July 29, 2011 at 3:53pmI’d say Krugman is not even an idealogue as much as he is a knifing opportunist who has carved out a nice little niche for himself trumpeting bankrupt and ever-so-tired Marxist economic theories that have been proven false years and years ago, and again just recently.
People like Krugman (much like Al Gore and climate gate), are in it purely for the money.

Posted on July 29, 2011 at 5:29pmThis may have been the same column in which Krugman argued that there was too much media bias on the right because more reporters were trying to keep their left wing ideology out of their reporting, and that the world would be a better place if their reporting was less balanced which would put the right back at the disadvantage they deserve. Talk about a wonderful circular argument.

The Fed Reserve is nothing more than Tony Soprano on steroids! Deliberately bankrupting the business as they walk the goods out the back door that they sell at 50 cents on the dollars!
ALL FOR THE “ONE WORLD ORDER” and to start A NEW currency so they can make money FROM ALL countries like they have in the USA since 1971 coming off the Gold Standard.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 11:46amAnother good line by an old time Vet. “Once you got ‘em by the ba*ls, their hearts and minds will follow.” Problem is with this show, Mika has the ba*ls (and runs the show) while Joe Schmo every once in awhile says something that slighly resembles cajones. Now, I’m not giving MikaNikita a compliment and saying her ba*ls are a thing to be admired. Just pointing out the fact that her clankers mostly over-shadow what little Politburo Joe can usually muster up on the Boring Joe show. Time to snatch the ba*ls off Mika Joe on a more regular basis you candy azz or continue to have her run the show.

Posted on July 29, 2011 at 3:06pmThese people need to come up for air and have a look around. In Glenn’s first hour today he states the president, and by extention, the left hasn’t been right about any important issue in a long time. That’s too nice. They’ve been absolutely wrong about EVERYTHING. I cut Mika some slack, because she’s a true dumb blonde. Paul Krugman and the NY Times are wrong. The LA Times is wrong. Chris Mathews is an idiot. Stop being like Ostrich’s with your heads in a bucket of crap made out of socialist propaganda, false intellectual superiority, and a desire for relevency. Pull your head out of the bucket and look around. The US is in deep trouble. The Middle East is in deep trouble. Europe is in deep trouble. All the trouble can be traced back to two things. Liberalism, and Radical Islam. If you people keep going with your ideaology, people will die, countries will fall, and then more people will die. Is world wide anarchy or world wide Sharia what you really want. Mika, I don’t want to see you wrapped up from head to toe in burlap. Ahh… your probably rich enough to have one made from cotton. The problem in the world today is Barrack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and the socialist left. P.S. Quit ragging bloggers. It’s the same thing you do except with cameras, hot lights, and better makeup.

Didn’t they raise cash by selling th NYTr building to Jesus of Mexico?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
