MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reveals She Has Breast Cancer on Live Broadcast

Another prominent newscaster has come forward with the revelation that she has had cancer. Long-time reporter and MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell revealed on live television Wednesday that she spent her summer discovering, and treating, an early-stage case of breast cancer. She stated that she is now among the “one in eight women” in the country suffering from the disease, yet qualified that she is one of the “fortunate” ones.
As the cancer was detected early, Mitchell is on the mend with a reportedly excellent prognosis and is already back at work.
She stated that while she has for years participated in cancer research charities, she will now do so from a more personal and profound place.
Below is a portion of Mitchell’s transcript:
Now, a personal note, or how I spent my summer vacation. I had planned to be hiking in Wyoming last week, but instead discovered that i am now among the one in eight women in this country incredibly, one in eight, who have had breast cancer. Mine was discovered during my annual screening just a short time ago. Luckily for me I am one of the fortunate ones. We discovered it in the earliest stage. It had not spread, and I’m already back at work with a terrific prognosis. supporting research for breast cancer, prevention and cures is a cause that has always been important to me. For years I’ve participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and other events in solidarity with friends and other survivors. Now, my connection to that community is personal and much deeper. I’m looking at this as another of life’s lessons. For you women out there and for the men who love you, screening matters. Do it. This disease can be completely curable, if you find it at the right time. As for me, I am incredibly grateful to my wonderful doctors and the nurses. To my husband and family, and to the loving members of my other family, my colleagues here at NBC and MSNBC and, of course, to you, my loyal viewers.

using the U.S. Preventative Healthcare Task Force Guidelines….
Well, she is over 50 years old,
So….One mammogram every two years
……..No secondary screening by ultrasound or MRI
……..No breast examination by the physician…actually…
…………..it will be a non-physician health care provider
…………..and she will possibly be in a group of 5-20 similar patients
………No encouragement to perform breast self-examination.
Now…with such diagnostic exams so limited…how will the cancer be found?
Bingo!
And if she is 65 years or older….well….God bless and help her,

Only HIGH risk women are screened…that is less than 5% of the population!
Under 50 and not high risk for breast cancer…?
Obamacare and the new Guidelines will take care of you:

Remember the uproar when Obama decided women under 50 didn’t need that screening? He said there were too many false positives that made for too many unnecessary tests. Bet she doesn’t think that.

I wonder if she got all those flu vaccines they push on people every year. how many people who get cancer have also routinely gotten flu vaccines? or maybe all those mandated childhood vaccines cause cancer years later.The CDC is killing us with vaccines but they’re too stubbornly committed to them to see it.The media is in bed with them and is quick to discredit people whose experience shows them that vaccines resulted in their normal children becoming autistic.
