On tonight’s “Rewrite” segment, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell set his sights on Rush Limbaugh in addition to basically called out Fox News’ Glenn Beck as a hypocrite over different remarks he’s made this week regarding reaction to the capture of Osama bin Laden.

Larry, it‘s really okay that you aren’t as successful as Glenn, really, it is. He got his show because he was successful. You got pulled out of some dark crevice, from absolute obscurity, when someone equally as horrible as you was fired. I know reality sometimes hurts. Why don’t you take some time off, cry, suck your thumb, rock yourself to sleep, whatever you have to do to cope with an abysmal show on an abysmal network.

This is about a simple laying of a wreath to honour victims at ground zero. Mr. Bush and Mr. Clinton were invited to participate. Mr Guiliani was also invited and was there on Monday.
“This is a very significant victory,” Giuliani said as he stood outside St. Paul’s Chapel across the street from where the Twin Towers once stood. “I feel a deep sense of relief and satisfaction.”
A passer-by then handed Giuliani an American flag with the names of all those killed on 9/11.
“In the short term it means more danger, in the long term I think it means more safety,” he said. “Ultimately it was a very big step.”
Like Mr. Beck, Mr. Giuliani is no fan of Mr. Obama, but unlike Mr. Beck he has a soul and some basic human decency.
BTW how can the ground zero mosque be a terrorist ground zero mosque if it was conceptualized in concert with the founders of the 92nd Street YMHA

Check Muslim history as far back as the Ottoman Empire, they have a nasty habbit of it. The Mosque was well within the radius of falling debris. And there are more than a half a dozen other mosques in the immediate area — East 55th Street, 96th Street and 3rd Avenue, West 29th Street, Allen Street, Warren Street, 116th Street, 126th Street, St. Nicholas Avenue, and that’s just Manhattan. Muslim terrorists used our own planes against us then our own laws supporting religious freedom against us to laugh in our faces at how stupid we(primarily the leftists) are; that they can kill us, then flaunt it, and get away with it. BTW Mr. Beck made clear he supports upholding the LEGAL aspect, not that he thought it SHOULD be built. Go to school and learn the difference before casting judgement. Laugh it up but I watch Fox, CNN and MSNBC and CNN is the most neutral. Probably why their ratings are low. They don’t constantly toss out red meat to the dedicated fringe. Fox and MSNBC don’t really have any hard news programs anymore. All opinion news which is just code for propaganda.
The reason Fox has huge ratings is because the Right will ONLY watch Fox while all the other news channels split the Left and independents. Meanwhile, many on the Left also will watch Fox. Fox is the only new channel peddling that particular brand of nuttery. So of course it has big numbers. It’s the only channel playing in the sheep pen.

Lawrence portrays himself as a journalist, must as you said, and proclaims all he says is truth and if you disagree, he spends half his show to try and ridicule you, a distraction….not provide evidence for his so called “truth” so you can decide….One could then concluded he is purposely trying to manipulate, or is really BIAS! What is the purpose of being bias, to manipulate you onto one’s side, or view….
As for Fox, there are some who portray their bias but most are fair and have all sides on to discuss an issue, so viewers can get all sides perspective…
Have you seen the new commercials on MSNBC in which Matthews, O’donnell, Maddow, and Ed are all subtly attacking and portraying their bias? Isn‘t that the majority of MSNBC’s “journalists”? Does Fox use this same tactic??? NOPE!

Here’s how it works:the unkown guy with low ratings picks a fight with the top dog. They use their manufactured feud in hopes of elevating their own ratings. It’s a very commonly used tactic and can even be seen in use in politics, sports, the movie industry etc.

If I am not mistaken, he said during the 2004 election that he would “issue an International Indictment”.
Fat lot of good that would have done. This is nothing more than an attempt to make those types of comments, like Harry Reid’s now infamous “The War in Afghanistan is lost” and all the rest of their earlier comments somehow become “Barrack Obama, single handedly and with no one elses help, took out UBL without any information from Gitmo”.

Plus, they’re singing to the quire. It makes no real difference if we hear this or not. We already know what they’re like. How is this going to really affect things…?
But atleast it’s a showing of another news affiliate. What I really don’t like is when the Blaze gives credit to people like reverend Wright, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson. They are only taken seriously by a very minor group. It’s bad enough that the liberals put these people in the highlights all the time, as if their words mean something…the Blaze shouldn’t join in as well, and also be giving them the media coverage they don’t deserve! It just makes the Blaze look less of a serious news sight.
