I don‘t think this will hurt O’Donnell so I hope MSNBC keeps running it. I think it makes them look bad when they make fun of it.
I admit when you hear that O’Donnell is against sex, even with herself, it sounds extreme, but the video is just kind of wholesome. Might even get her some votes and I plan on sending a small check to her. I hope thousands of conservatives do the same.
    I think she can win!

I don’t understand what this has anything to do with her getting elected to anything. It is her personal view and so what. Is now the left worried that the republicans are going to outlaw Masturbation or something? They really must be running scared if they are using this against O’Donnell!

OK, now I admire this lady even more than I did before. O’Donnell, not Maddow of course. One obviously was raised with values and boundaries and has learned how to make good choices. The other, not so much, as evidenced by her mockery of O’Donnell. Maddow apparently thinks that her lifestyle and ideology are superior because she is “progressive”, which I guess means that everyone is free to do whatever they want, unless of course you espouse traditional Christian values and then of course, you are a “freak” worthy of ridicule. Remember, it’s OK to “hate” on Christians or conservatives, but don‘t you go dissin’ any “progressives” like Ms. Maddow because her “rights” are specially protected. Is it any wonder that these folks are so surprised at the backlash they have inspired with this kind of thinking?

I thought this was America? Freedom of Religion? Freedom of Speech? I guess we can only listen when Islam speaks. What’s their policy on masturbation? If they stone you for rape and adultery, what is the punishment for masturbation?

Give the woman a break, if that is what she believes then oh well. She looks like she is about 14 in the video.

Wait I thought Maddow and all her liberal buddies were for Religious freedom now? From watching the video it is pretty much in line with Catholic teaching (I have no idea if O’Donnell is catholic or not) so it is hardly an extreme view. Whether you agree or disagree with O’Donnell, unless she plans to pass laws to make masturbation illegal it is irrelevant to the campaign. However it does once again expose the hypocrisy of the left.

Good Girl. Jesus said that if a man even looks on a maiden and fantasizes comitting adultery with her, in his mind, that God knows the inward thoughts of the heart. The question is; do you sin because you think no one is watching and no one will ever know, so obviously you won’t get gaught, or do you not do it
because God is in the innermost part of your being and know’s what kind of fantasies you are entertaining in order to get “off” real good? Can you mentally handle the “setback” your heart suffers after the depressing “afterglow” runs it’d destructive course on your clear conscience with your “soul man”. It’s just not worth it. There is a higher road that God’s grace provides, constantly. “Where sin abounds, God’s grace much more abounds.”

    “MSNBC‘s Maddow Mocks Jesus Christ”

Jesus Said “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. I guess Ms. Madcow does not realise that the clip she was showing has been more popular than she ever thought, this wil confirm that Ms. O’Donnell has been brought up with Christian values, and Ms. Madcow and any of her croonies will NOT defeat anyone who believe that Jesus is their Lord and Master. With all due respect, what happens in the privacy of anyone’s home is neither the business of the government nor anyone else. I appreciate the willingness to want to not only jump on the conservative bandwagon, but to embrace and ride it straight to a Christian theocracy if allowed. But the fact of the matter is this is a non-issue. We’re human. Most do it. Those who don’t (or say they don’t but do anyway) are usually afraid due to a lack of proper education about their own body or have been convinced that it’s dirty or wrong – neither of which are true. Argue if you wish, but in the end, it doesn’t matter in the slightest. If Rachel what’s-her-face feels that O‘donnel’s anti-masturbation message is worth talking about, I’d prefer to leave that between her and the 12 people who pay attention to her. The rest of us will focus on more important things.

These quotes don’t bother me. I am sick and tired of the all the pornography and the obsession with sex in our schools, deceiving young people today. Look around at the media today, the premarital sex, the abortions, the destroyed lives! How many people stand up against this? Not many.

And it’s true that lust can lead to adultery outside of marriage.. Doesn’t every mature adult know this?

Young people are not being decieved. Im a “young person” who happens to be a conservative, a tea party member, and part of a local conservative talk radio program. (So please dont use the “L” word when flaming me back for this).
Young people don’t really need a whole lot of pressure put on them by anyone to masturbate, have sex with each other, get pregnant or have an abortion. They will do that all on their own, I’m quite sure. I’ve met as many girls at church as I ever did at school.
You can’t legislate morality, my friend.

@ waitwut0_0 – Thanks for you’re response… You are correct… I can’t legislate morals.. But I can teach them to my own children. And they will be encouraged to marry at a young age. They currently pray for their future spouse and will continue to pray until they marry them. I also try and teach my children self control, and respect toward others, especially to their elders.

And by the way, pictures of any type of sexual act on T.V. triggers hormonal responses in normal human beings, especially younger people, who’s hormones are peaking through the roof. This is science my friend not legislation.

And try to remember this; That all people, young and old are deceived, especially youngsters.

Off the topic…. What part of TN are you from? I use to live outside of Nashville but I am on the west coast now.

I have a questions – you don’t believe that anything she did 20 years ago matters, yet Beck who most of you follow and believe in, is holding some Obama‘s appointees and advisors to views and opinions that they have back in the 60’s when young people had radical views about the war and other social movements. If O‘Donnell’s opinions have matured in 20 years, can it not be possible that these advisors from 40 years ago, have also changed their views? Just asking!
