MSNBC‘s ’Morning Joe‘ Mocks Rick Perry’s Weekend Speech: ‘Felt Like an Alien’

It seems the crew over at MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” just can’t wrap its head around a Rick Perry presidential run. On this morning’s show, Mika Brzezinksi said she “felt like an alien” while watching people applaud the TX Gov’s weekend speech at the Republican Leadership Conference, while Joe Scarborough compared it to comedian Will Ferrell’s Broadway show mocking George W. Bush.

“I think I saw this guy on Broadway,” Scarborough quipped after watching the clip of Perry, referring to Ferrell’s show “You’re Welcome, America.” Later he added, “I don’t get it.”

For her part, Brzezinski continually lowered her head in seeming disgust, at one point noting “it’s just a separate world.” That was in part due to Mark Halperin’s conclusion that Perry could make some waves if he entered.

You can watch the clip below:

Could it be that they just “don’t get it” because they’re so out of touch?

msnbc only hires people that will go along with their agenda. The republican they have on (which is few and far between) are rinos. Getting rid of Potus is going to be very hard 2 do with the main stream media constantly critisizing every single possible canidate for anything. Fox at least has shown some good in some Democrats. I don’t see Fox critisizing…I see them questioning some events. Does that make them right wingers????nah

Having met the man, I can say that he’s a sincere, honest, caring guy, but he doesnt’ speak for me. I am certain of one thing, mbriz, the only reason why a liberal like you would even be interested in posting here is because you are in some way supported by the government, whether government employee, welfare, bogus disability, whatever. “You are lied to ever day by a conman that is taking you form millions. Do just 10 in of research and you’ll see how badly you are being scammed, GB is laughing at you all the way to the bank”

      “Every” day, not “ever” day.
      “From,“ not ”form.”
How does one do 10 inches of research? Shouldn’t that be 10 “minutes” of research?
Your last sentence is a run-on. There should be a period after the word “scammed.”

Now, how about if you supply some evidence for your allegations that Glenn Beck is a fraud. Has he made any factual errors? Because, frankly, as long as he is supplying factual information, I don’t care whether or not he gets rich off the endeavor. It’s the information that interests me, not the person delivering it.

Until just recently Perry turned a blind eye to the open border and invasion of illegal aliens who staffed businesses that donated to his campaign. He is a card-carrying Bilderberger and until such time as the masses stood up and protested Perry was one of the most aggressive advocates for the NAFA trans-Texas corridor. The final straw for me was when he was the first governor to jump in the back pocket of Big Pharma and attempted to mandate all girls aged 9-12 in TX receive the Gardasil vaccine. If you go to Judicial Watch and read about the case they have against this vaccine you will understand why Perry’s premature mandate was proof that special interests superseded the interests of his constituents. I’m far removed from TX; however, this man is nothing more than a 2012 GOP version of McCain or, if he succeeds, he would be a 2012 version of Obama on steroids.

It’s the nature of the employer/employee relationship. If you work for MSNBC you can do what they ask you to do, or you can leave. That’s how it works. That’s how it works at almost every job. The show may carry Joe’s name…. but don‘t think for a second that it’s his show. Someone with a big audience draw… might be able to garner some influence in his contract… or maybe even a lot of influence depending on the size of his/her fan base. But this does not include Joe.

Their failure of understanding stems from being Statist .
      .Statism
Statism (or etatism) is a scholarly term in political philosophy either emphasising the role of the state in analysing political change; or, in describing political movements which support the use of the state to achieve goals.

When used to describe analyses, statism refers to analyses that use a dichotomy between state and society, with the state viewed as a homogeneous institution capable of using political power to enact policy on a passive or resisting society composed of the body of people. Such an analysis, dependent on the elitist theory of power, is contested by those who prefer the pluralist theory of power which contends that power is exercised by individuals and competing organisations within society.[1][2]

Economic statism (dirigisme), for instance, promotes the view that the state has a major and legitimate role in directing the economy, either directly through state-owned enterprises and other types of machinery of government, or indirectly through economic planning.[3][4] It may refer to the ideology of statism that holds that:

And if Perry becomes president you can bet ol’ RINO joe will be the first in line comparing him to Bush and telling conservatives how uneducated we are for voting him in. What true republican mocks and ridicules his own parties’ potential candidates before they have even announced??? A wolf in sheeps clothing progressive, thats who. If Hussien O‘Barry is not reelected ol’joe will be crying right along with tingle legs and the rest of them.

Poor Joe. Have never watched that show, but obviously it isn’t very popular. But I have had higher opinion of Joe than he deserves. Now, that idiot blond gal pushing him down the river is another story.
Who the hell is she? You better get back to your roots Joe, or lose anyone who used to be in your corner. MSNBC and NBC are off my list, (not that I ever watched, but I know not to watch for sure)

Spankdamonkey has it all wrong. If Rick Perry were a RINO and a progressive, they (meaning Joe and that idiot blond gal) would have loved him. He could win the presidency and spout their beliefs and we’d have no changes for America. That‘s why I know he isn’t a rino.

They hit the nail-on-the-head with that “alien”comment. The news media is completely out of touch with the beliefs and values of the American people. The thoughts of freedom and liberty as presented by our founders is completely alien to their way of thinking.

It really makes a person wonder, where in these peoples lives did their minds derail from wanting traditional American values? Was it for power? For money? Or, did they think it was cool to be a rebel? When did they start really believing in the lies and half-truths being spouted by the left? Or, do they?

Everytime these people talk, it sounds like they were involved in a brainwashing convention…

This is the purest example you are ever going to see that these people live in a bubble that most people in this country will never be privy to, nor would we want to be.

I listen to all of these people imagining that this is how they are at dinner parties or on the phone with their friends. They aren’t even exposed to the everyday perspective of most of the country.

Perry is right. We should not expect their favor or spend any time trying to curry their favor. They are never going to like us. Rush Limbaugh was right today, the independents are on the Conservative side of almost every argument.

These people’s ancestors must have been on Jekyl Isand and they have been raised to believe in the New World Order.
But they are talking about their own this time. Type in Rick Perry Confronted. You will get a video of Rick Perry leaving a Bildeberg meeting. He said all they did was talk about the economy and there was no conspiracy. When asked he also said there is no North American Union. He was all for the government taking Texan’s land by emminent domain to build the Super Highway from Mexico to Canada with no borders. But had to back down when people stood up and fought and it got so much publicity. Now they are building it in increments so as to avoid this publicity.
He was all for giving young girls those dangerous Gardasil shots. Keeps talking about his Christian faith. Ask him how much money he titihed to the church. He is listed as a Bildeberg member since 2000 and is going to their next big meeting where they will again take over a hotel and have guards all around it while the wealthiest, most powerful people in the world arrive in darkened windows limos etc. He is a NWO person and we will get the same from him as we are getting from B.O
He was also all for Big Pharm giving young girls those dangerous Gardasil shots. Keep him out of the White House or it will turn red.
