MSNBC’s Schultz Blames Head-Stomping Incident on Beck

MSNBC host Ed Schultz dedicated a significant portion of his afternoon broadcast Tuesday to condemn the actions of Tim Profitt, a Ron Paul supporter who was involved in a violent altercation with a MoveOn.org activist in Kentucky.

After condemning the Paul campaign’s statement condemning violence from either side of the political divide, Schultz says he’s so outraged he can hardly speak. Unfortunately for the rest of us, he somehow musters the ability, going on a tirade and blaming it all on radio and Fox News host Glenn Beck:

    Look at the local news, Ed. I’ve been saying all day this was an older man. He‘s had back surgery and can’t bend down. He was trying to hold her down with his foot because he can’t bend over. She’d rushed the car three times, and he thought she was trying to harm Dr. Paul. How do we know she wouldn‘t have if this man hadn’t stopped her? She’s got an arrest record as long as your arm, and the guy has never been in trouble in his long life. If you look at the film, its clear he isn’t stomping her face, he’s shoving her shoulder. Great job on being Politically Correct Ed, blame the handicapped older man instead of the MoveOn.org activist with a rap sheet.

    I didn‘t watch the video but that’s just silly. Watch the news people! The guys that wrestled this woman to the ground and then stomped on her were simply a bunch of not-to-smart “tough guys” who aren’t representative of the TP. I mean maybe it wasn’t 100% right, but there were extenuating circumstances.

    Not so sure about Bryan Williams, a self proclaimed Beck devotee who was on his way to the Tides Foundation when he was stopped and then had a shootout with police. He was wearing full body armor and had enough guns and ammunition to slaughter everyone there. He’s confessed that was his plan. And who gave him the idea? Beck of course – that was his statement to the police. Beck convinced him that Tides was “the belly of the Beast” and a great source of Evil in America. But Beck is off the hook, because he didn’t actually say to kill them, he just said that Tides had to be stopped or the country would be destroyed. No way does Beck endorse violence, he just tells us who the people who want to destroy everything we hold dear are, and everyone who is trying to kill US!

      The local news is now reporting that the man in question is an older man who has had back surgery. He put his foot on her because he couldn’t bend over to hold her with his hands. This was not some thug. This was a volunteer who never intended to get in this mess. He’s never been in trouble in his life. She, on the other hand, has an extensive rap sheet.

      Anyone who knows anything about Crime Inc and Tides and Media Matters will never give his jailhouse interview to MediaMatters. Unless he is a willing participant in a hit job and paid by spooky doode.
      This SF guy was setup by the marxist-spookydoode funded bunch of Obamasses. People like you need this issue till Nov 2nd 2010. After that, we’ll see how this guy and his story fades away.

      RightPolitically: There‘s my view of Schultz’s tirade. After all the times he has actually indicated voilent behavior was call for, how does he have the nerve to blame Beck, who has not? In fact, I’ve seen Beck warn against letting yourself get out of control to the point of doing something stupid like this.
      Schultz is obviously transffering his own behavior on to Beck. It’s clear that Schultz has no fear of displaying himself the fool.

      Well said. I‘ve heard nothing but condemnation for this man’s actions since it happened. What else is Rand Paul supposed to do to show he doesn’t condone this behavior in his campaign–stomp the guy? No condemnation from the right will ever be enough for these people on the left because it would take away their (un)righteous indignation. They want violence. They care nothing about the people getting hurt in order to get their end result……and if the post I read earlier is true that an illegal immigrant attacked a school boy, President Obama should IMMEDIATELY condemn this, as his speech on Univison maybe inspired said attack.

      I have to say, I defended the Paul supporter until I watched the whole thing on Fox News. He stepped on the woman’s shoulder and then pressed hard on her head. Besides, he looked very angry. I don’t condone violence against anyone, but the only way I can feel a little sorry for this guy is if he thought they were tackling a man. It still baffles me that the woman did not scream out in pain. Maybe she’s on steroids.

      The sad thing about this whole incident is that the left is always the instigator. When they physically assault or maim one of ours, we lose. When one of ours reacts inappropriately to their attacks, they win. Fighting evil is not an easy thing.

      We need our own “Rules for Patriots” handbook, Glenn.

      The illogic of progressives/sons of Belial is blame and attempt to destroy those who they fear the most for others actions so that the devil will have free reign and control over the saints. It makes no logical sense whatsoever to blame one person for another person’s actions unless the person were standing there in the crowd saying to the transgressor, “Stomp on her!” Schultz in his hypocritical was is more the transgressor in this instant than either the transgressor and the man of honor combined.

      What Ed Schultz does not realize is that we all knew that liberals are just waiting for any kind of violence from the right so they can exploit it. The Left produces violence acts all the time that do not get any coverage in the media as it circles the wagons. He is a liar in his approach to the news and he sensationalizes any story he can to promote his socialist ways, Ed Schultz you are wrong and the conservative movement is the real American representatives of the true American way

      Ed simply doesn’t matter. His opinion doesn’t matter (except as a single citizen) because his ratings are a joke. NO ONE that I know condones violence. Even in the interview, the questioner “baited” the Reverend into stating that violence “should not be taken off the table”… there was no violence in that case, just a reporter baiting the candidate into saying something dumb… Tea Party is the “problem” Ed? If you truly believe that (and I don’t think you do), then you are dumber than you look … and Ed? Have you looked in a mirror lately?

      Notice how he didn’t show the video of the “stomping of the head”. Thats because this guy didn’t stomp on her head, He out his foot on her back and pushed down on it. I’m not not defending this guy by any means, I’m simply raising the distortion factor the left always plays.

      Oh and uh ED….There are millions of videos out there of union thugs and leftist creating violence in the streets. You work in the media….. shouldn’t be hard to find……..

      A minority Obama supporter stomping on the head of a tea partier??? I haven’t seen that

      But I do recall a minority Obama supporter punching a guy with a video camera maybe a month or two ago, it was in a street and the video guy was protecting his wife from the thug and the thug took a swing at him… Anybody else recall that one? It was disgusting, but unlike what Dultz suggests, “We” didn’t riot, or lose our heads because we expect it.

      Or how about the guy taping the the one politician in some kind of hall and was asked to turn off his camera and then two goons sat on either side of him and one smacked the camera into his face. I saw it here on TheBlaze, the incident had a second camera angle to see the veracity of the hit.. Again. we didn’t flip cars or have Glenn start yelling “RACISM” on air, we just shook it off because we expect those reactions from classless people (Lib-aggressives).

      They say this man is a Rand Paul supporter but from their previous tactics I believe it was all set up. Why did the woman need a wig? Perhaps to disguise herself so thy would know which one they needed to stomp on . I smell covert activities here, not the action of a tea party member.
