Murder Solved After Cops Find Crime Scene Tattooed on Gang Member’s Chest

When 23-year old John Juarez was shot dead in front of the Los-Angeles-area Ed’s Liquor in 2004, cops couldn’t figure out who did it. The case sat unsvolved and cold for four years. That is until a vigilant cop happened upon a curious mug shot:
That’s 22-year old Anthony Garcia, a member of the notorious LA gang Rivera-13, who was arrested in 2008 for driving without a license. As part of procedure, cops took a picture of his tattoos and entered it into a database. Later that year, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detective Sergeant Kevin Lloyd was looking through the photos. That’s when he noticed something odd: the scene tattooed on the front of Garcia‘s chest looked a lot like the the crime scene from Juarez’s murder:
The LA Sheriff’s Department describes the similarities Lloyd noticed:
He pored over the cold case file and compared the crime scene photos with the photo of the tattoo on Garcia’s chest.
The tattoo window and frames of the store are similar to the crime scene photo of the liquor store, even the tattoo line on the roof represents the Christmas lights.
The tattoo shows a peanut man being shot then falling down face down. A helicopter is depicted shooting the peanut man.
The gang nickname of convicted murderer Anthony Garcia is “Chopper.” (Chopper is common slang for a helicopter)
Garcia’s gang refers to members of their rival gang as “peanuts.”
The direction that the shots were actually fired, matched those in the tattoo.
The tattoo street light and street sign to the left of the liquor store resemble the corner of Rosemead and Carron St., the scene of the murder.
The Daily Mail reports what happened next:
After Lloyd recognised the mural, sheriff’s detectives arrested Garcia for the shooting and officers, posing as gang members, got a confession from the gang member who bragged to them about carrying out the shooting.
This week, it led to a first-degree murder conviction in a case that police had at one time given up hope of ever solving.
Lloyd, the investigator who cracked the case, had been at the scene of the murder in 2004 when he was a station sergeant in Pico Rivera, Los Angeles.

I never knew that being a criminal constituted a race. For that matter, how would being person of illegal status be classed as race?
As for the comments you are referring to, there is reason to believe that this person could be an illegal alien. After all he displays no regard for the law, and he is part of the drug trade. Considering that illegals have no regard for our laws and feel they can do as they wish (illegally crossing borders, evading taxes, identity theft, etc.) and that most of them are brought across the border by the drug cartel (willing or otherwise) I don’t see it as being much of a stretch.
Breaking the law is breaking the law. Difference is, this animal was caught.

I agree that ALL our posts should stay and not be reportable. However …“the truth”? OPINION, yes, just like everything I’ve ever opined on here is just that. My opinion. That doesn’t make it truth.
Is the new tactic of the left to come and tell all of that it is “fact” an opinion of yours (we are all racists, anti-anything not rich white or male) is something we know we’re not?

We pay taxes so these funds can be given to criminals, yes criminals who have only come here to take advantage of the stupid Americans, free food and shelter or subsidies for anyone who can’t speak English, we bend over backwards to make sure our language is secondary, educate the illegals and even give them scholarships with no strings attached, the banks bent over backwards to give them loans for mortgages without any type of security or paperwork showing they even had the means to pay the loan. If your one of the crazy people who work hard, were born here and have identification to prove it, pay your taxes, follow the laws, your the moron who gets questioned or chastised for saying these entitlements for illegals are wrong and should end, and to make it even better your labeled as a racist. This country is upside down and the cowardly politicians are the reason along with their elitist friends who take advantage of the illegals by giving them jobs where no taxes are being taken out and the wages are as low as possible. You see marches for amnesty with the illegals flying foreign flags and rubbing our noses in it. There is a breaking point for all this crap and it’s coming fast and will not be a pretty sight. Look at these cities and states who give sanctuary for this and when you do get a state that wants to stop this craziness the federal government sues them finding activist judges to rule against the state. I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but I’ve had enough of this stupidity. I will not do business with any corporation or company which hires or has a soft approach to these policies. I will not vacation or do business with anything having to do with California. I may be just one person, but if enough of us get on the bandwagon we can make a difference and maybe turn this ignorance around. Find some politicians with some backbones or run for office yourself. We didn‘t get to this point overnight and it won’t be fixed that fast either, however, it really is time to take a stand or accept the fact that being a legal citizen really means your a second class citizen compared to the poor illegal immigrant who is just coming here to make a better life for themselves and family (sic).
