Muslim Admits Attacking Atheist Over Zombie Muhammed Costume, Muslim Judge Dismisses Case, Lectures Atheist on Joys of Islam

You may recall back in October The Blaze reported on the now-infamous “Zombie Muhammed,” who was attacked by an irate Muslim man over what he believed was the unspeakable act of dishonoring his prophet. Zombie Muhammed, along with his counterpart, “Zombie Pope,” were costumes worn by Atheists during a Halloween parade last year.

The assault was captured on video and the Muslim man admitted to his crime, saying that he did not know mocking Muhammed was actually legal in the U.S.. Charges, of course, were filed.

Seems like a clear-cut case in favor of the victim, no? Think again.

The court case in the assault has since come to trial and was dismissed by the presiding judge, who is reportedly Muslim as well.

The judge refused to allow the video as evidence, stating, “All that aside I’ve got here basically.. I don’t want to say he said she said but I’ve got two sides of the story that are in conflict with each other.”

He added, “…he [plaintiff] has not proven to me beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant is guilty of harassment, therefore I am going to dismiss the charge”

The case brought by the victim, Pennsylvania State Director of American Atheists, Inc., Mr. Ernest Perce V.

Opposing Views reports:

The defendant is an immigrant and claims he did not know his actions were illegal, or that it was legal in this country to represent Muhammad in any form. To add insult to injury, he also testified that his 9 year old son was present, and the man said he felt he needed to show his young son that he was willing to fight for his Prophet.

The case went to trial, and as circumstances would dictate, Judge Mark Martin is also a Muslim. What transpired next was surreal. The Judge not only ruled in favor of the defendant, but called Mr. Perce a name and told him that if he were in a Muslim country, he’d be put to death.

According to Opposing Views, Judge Martin’s comments included the following:

Having had the benefit of having spent over 2 and a half years in predominantly Muslim countries I think I know a little bit about the faith of Islam. In fact I have a copy of the Koran here and I challenge you sir to show me where it says in the Koran that Mohammad arose and walked among the dead. I think you misinterpreted things. Before you start mocking someone else’s religion you may want to find out a little bit more about it it makes you look like a dufus and Mr. (Defendant) is correct. In many Arabic speaking countries something like this is definitely against the law there. In their society in fact it can be punishable by death and it frequently is in their society.

Judge Martin then offered a lesson in Islam — as a religion and a culture:

Islam is not just a religion, it’s their culture, their culture. It’s their very essence their very being. They pray five times a day towards Mecca to be a good Muslim, before you die you have to make a pilgrimage to Mecca unless you are otherwise told you can not because you are too ill, too elderly, whatever but you must make the attempt. Their greetings wa-laikum as-Salâm – may god be with you.

But there’s more. As Opposing Views points out Judge Martin presses further, showing what seems to be little regard for the First Amendment:

Then what you have done is you have completely trashed their essence, their being. They find it very very very offensive. I’m a Muslim, I find it offensive. But you have that right, but you’re way outside your boundaries or first amendment rights. This is what, and I said I spent about 7 and a half years living in other countries. when we go to other countries it’s not uncommon for people to refer to us as ugly Americans this is why we are referred to as ugly Americans, because we are so concerned about our own rights we don’t care about other people’s rights as long as we get our say but we don’t care about the other people’s say.

You can listen to the judge’s comments below:

This judge should be removed from office, he has failed his duty to protect the safety of the victim to peacefully celebrate his chosen holiday, It’s irrelevant what the law is in other countries and he knows it. The Christian God is mocked often in public and there is no right in America to use force to object, The Buddhist God is mocked often and no right to use force to object is allowed, the deity of other religions are allowed and no violent objection is allowed. I’m offended at the blatant defiance of his sworn constitutional duty.

These people WILL be our undoing if giving the chance. A fine example of this is the accidental burning of the koron in Afganistan and the murders of 2 of our soldiers. These barbarians will behead you if you insult there precious god Mohammed. THAT’S EVIL PEOPLE!! When the hell are we going to acknowledge that??? Would there have been 2 murders anywhere else in the world if 2 bibles were accidently burned?? OF COURSE NOT. I’m REALLY getting sick and tired of this BS, TRUST ME.

He told us he will be reviled, and in turn so will we be, for His names’ sake. God is very capable of taking care of himself, last time I checked :) All we need is faith and prayer, and the fellowship of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Actually Jesus does tell us in the Bible in Mark 8:38: “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

As Christian in the U.S. we have been taught or developed a “non-offensive” tact of dealing with others of either lightly or more directly attacks of our God or our Faith. It is why we are in the position we are in here in the U.S., and around the world today. We have let others control the dialouge about our God and He is not honored that way. We should NOT “attack” others, but should stand when necessary or educate when able.

He who does not stand for something may not be able to stand for anything some day! In Revelation 3:15 & 16, God says to the Church in Sardus, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” God nor Jesus like equivocation.

I’m sorry, but I never knew that keeping quiet in the face of a blatant false attack on my faith equates with being ashamed. Jesus also said ‘Cast not your pearls before swine’. Ashamed? Far from it. Jesus didn’t cajole or coax people into following him. You either did, or you didn’t. Jesus kept on in His work; if you followed, it was more glory to God. If not, His glory was in no way diminished. Once I hear ‘Oh, not Jesus again’ or anything along those lines, therein lies rejection of Christ. God is telling me at that point, ‘It’s not their time to know the truth.” Why create an argument?

      Say hello to sharia law!
First, throw the fool off the bench.
Then, take note, he admitted in his ruling, that islam is not just a religion, but it is also a culture.
Therein lies the rub. America has its own laws and its own culture. We cannot have two separate sets of cultures and laws coexisting. Europe (Britain) went down that road, and is beset by woes as a result.

What we have in islam is a culture that DEMANDS not only acceptance, but DOMINANCE!
If you do not SUBMIT (the word islam translates “submit” not “peace”).
…If you do not submit, their god tells them it is good to kill you. If they let you live, they are to TAX you and TAKE money for themselves. Sound familiar? They even have a word for it, “JIZYA.”

islam and FREEDOM are incompatible. Period.

Jude Chapter 1:3 – 11 Instructs to contend for the faith. Doesn’t mean violence, but it does mean taking a stand.

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. 4For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day. 7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. 9Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you. 10But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know natur

The judge did say it right, it is a culture, not a religion. I wish they would get that right, and a prophet is not a God, it is a speaker for God, so the muslim “religion” isn’t a religion, it is a cult, jsut as the judge admits, being that he is a muslim and all that. Thing is, in this country you can, or should unless you go before this judge, mock any religion, culture, belief, whatever, due to free speech. Some people take it a little far and it does upset all of us one way or another, sure, but it is still a protected right. Mohammad, just because it doesn’t say he rose from the dead and walked the earth, what does this say about the cult if they can’t take a joke?

Fortunately in PENNSYLVANIA this supposed judge is only a magisterial judge who hears summary cases in his court or is allowed to preside over preliminary hearings in a higher court to decide if a case has enough merit to continue on. It sounds like he dismissed the charges at the preliminary level. Fortunately the charges can be REFILED before another judge in the county. It also sounds like the judge gave the defendant the benefit of the doubt because the defendant was IGNORANT of the law. Again fortunately the holy muslim can be SUED in civil court for injuries. If handled properly this case is FAR from over.

Apparently bad taste parade costumes will get you killed in muslim countries but that’s not offensive or “ugly” to him. Given the fact that the video footage was not allowed, I’d say Perce has excellent grounds to appeal and perhaps even have an investigation placed on the judge who clearly cannot seperate being a muslim from upholding the law in a clear assault case. Apparently “ignorance of the is not an excuse” isn’t known to this judge. Futhermore, this “brave” muslim was happy to teach his 9 year old son how to defend his prophet, while his prophet was bedding his 9 year old wife while he was alive. ahhhh Islam..the religion of peace and tolerance.

He needs to be impeached. Gingrich was absolutely correct when he said judges should have to explain why they have ruled in certain ways. Get this criminal judge off the bench.

This case highlights the problems that the world is confronted with in regard to all Muslims. No country should allow Muslims to imigrate. Their only reason is to ultimately take over and install their “religion”and “culture” as the only acceptable way of life and anyone who disagrees must be put to death. No civilized “culture” allows their children to be used as suicide bombers to become martyrs to their religion or for any other reason. Civilized people feel sorrow for the treatment of the women in their society, but, sadly, the women fully accept their second class citizenship and even rejoice in having their children strap on bombs to satisfy their “god”. Throughout their history they have exhibited that they have no respect for human life and are more than willing to keep killing their own as they have always done. There is nothing we who respect life will ever be able to do to resurect them from their Middle Ages mentality. They are destroying Europe where they have been welcomed with open arms. If we continue to respect their ‘religion“ and ”culture” and allow them to imigrate here, or even to visit, our freedoms will cease to exist and our culture will not survive. It is their way or no way. Killing is part of their nature.

      http://www.thestraightway.org/

“The world is reaching a cross-roads, a dangerous turning point regarding the threat of Islamofascism. According to the Qur’an, Islam has always had world domination as it’s ultimate goal, but now it’s sights are firmly fixed on America. Muslim groups and organizations have infiltrated our culture, seeking to establish Sharia (Islamic Law) across our great nation. With the election of Barack Hussein Obama as President, our political leadership has installed Muslims in powerful and key positions across the federal government. In this thought-provoking seminar, Usama draws upon current events in the news to demonstrate how quickly we are moving towards “one nation under Islam.” His message is clear: America, now is the time to choose, to choose Freedom, or to unknowingly choose to Surrender to Islam. “

Islam is NOT a religion. Islam is a totalitarian system of government. Ann Barnhardt says it best. And you Muslim enablers are going to find out soon those little death cults springing up around the US are just an invading army.

This is just another piece of evidence that Muslims are not compatible with our system of government. Christie is another of the Muslim appeasers. He appointed a Muslim judge. As you can see from this case, they cannot be trusted to follow the law.

Judge Martin does have the right to believe in anything he want’s to in his life; and I can agree sometimes people will go over the limit to make fun of your religion. But this judge didn’t review the video evidence and punished the victim. Which I feel he sold out to make it look like no one can touch his faith because “it’s their culture”. Would you as an American want more and more of their Islamic culture in the United States? Where there is no ‘true’ freedom and extreme sharia law. I ask anyone here reading my comment to look into many of the cultures and traditions in Islamic countries around the world; especially Africa and the Middle East. Because a lot of the immigrants from these countries are bring their culture to our country and refusing to accept our current life styles. Now, do knock me for my comment. I’m not a random paranoid Christian conservative. Over the years I have studied Islam, the history of Islam and modern Islam throughout the world. Yes, there are liberal Muslims who are against all these radical Muslims and terrorist. But there is only a small percent standing up to the atrocities of these acts. In terms of your “beliefs” I view you equally as crazy as Muslims. The difference is the vast majority(most not all) of Christians won’t want to harm me if I criticize their religion. Unfortunately, I have seen people of Christian faith become more fundamental of the last decade or so. I hope this trend changes as I fear Christians will revert back to what the Muslims now do to “defend” their faith.

Instead of telling the Atheists to side with Christians, you should be saying for Christians to side with the Atheists…..ESPECIALLY on this case. This case is not about Christianity, it is about a Muslim attacking an Atheist for speaking his mind in the way he saw fit.

In addition, a Christian’s best bet is simply to not get involved. That’s the beauty of prayer and a personal relationship with Christ. God always listens to what is being said in your soul, so I certainly don’t discount the power of prayer. I happen to pray a lot… it’s not dramatic, I don’t have to prepare, it just happens. I said, “I think you’re all crazy for what you believe in.” Meaning, I hold you and Muslims, and Mormons, and Buddhists, and people who believed in Zeus ALL the same when it comes to you believing in some higher power and that you “talk” to God, etc

I obviously said I view Christians and Muslims different in terms to how they react and “prove” their peacefulness.

Don’t forget there were times of absolute terror that was forced on people by Christians. Just because you personally don’t feel the need to attack people for your religious faith(which I’m glad), it doesn’t take away from the fact that for a long stretch of time, Christians did horrible things to non Christians on behalf of their faith. There are still Christians who will kill doctors who provide abortions because of their beliefs. There are also Christians who defend the other Christian’s “right” to kill those doctors to “protect” life.

As I said, Christianity has become more secular and rational in their beliefs. I hope that trend continues. I suspect it will happen some day with Islam but who knows.

@Mod: I used to be liberal leaning, more of a ‘to each his own’ type of mentality. Let me say this one thing… Nobody can force anyone to have faith. Faith is something that for most people comes slowly, with a diligent search in seeking God… not from someone telling them they need believe thusly, or in such-and-such a manner. Usually, a profession of Jesus as the Saviour doesn’t come right away, it’s a process, unless you’re brought up in the nurturing and admonition of the Lord. I believe, as a Christian, that if one is ready to hear, they will do their own searching… not because someone tells them to, or tells them that they should, or else.

As usual I’m going to have to disagree with most of what you said.

First, I believe the world would be a better place if Christians got more fundamental and less secular.

Secondly, I believe your statement that Muslims and Christians are the same is entirely flawed, in that they‘re different in so many ways I don’t care to list them all save one since it was your major point. The fact is Muslims and Christians differ in the fact that while Muslims do in fact speak to an imaginary friend, Christians speak to a real living God. No offence to all you Muslims out there.

Thirdly, I take offence to you implying that Christians harmed people on behalf of their faith, because if they were truly following the Bible they would have never killed or struck fear into the hearts of people unless people are afraid of the truth, which seems accurate now a days.

I mean really, If I were a democrat and then went out and killed ever single republican and conservative I could find and then said I did this because I believe that republicans and conservatives are evil and it is all thanks to the democratic movement that I did this. Would be right in saying that the democratic movement was responsible for millions of deaths? The democratic doesn’t endorse killing people(yet) and if you were to read the Bible you would see that after Christ fulfilled the law He endorsed loving everyone no matter what, not killing.

They are so much alike it’s hard to pick.

They both base their beliefs on events that no one has ever observed.

The best thing Christians can do(if they want TRUE freedom of speech) is to…..back the atheist in this case.

All I hear is how people always “attack” Christianity, but never Islam. Yet there have been times in the past where people “attack” Islam…..and other religions back the Muslims right to be offended and to act accordingly.

In terms of their “beliefs” I view Christianity and Islam the same. I think both are equally crazy in what they believe. The difference is the overwhelming majority(not all but most) won’t want to harm me when I criticize their beliefs. Christianity has at least become more rational/secular over the generations. I hope this trend continues, though over the last few decades I have noticed people who actually are practicing Christians, becoming more fundamental in their beliefs.

      MOD

You say you have noticed over the last few decades?

I will never be able to prove it, but I would bet my house you are not over 25.

If you are over over 25 and your only goal in life is to come here and bash Christians?

      Draw your own conclusions.

@Mod: I agree with you as far as more fundamentalism from the Christian faith. But you’re missing the point. As far as the lost, there’s nothing we can do. A lot of Christians don’t understand that. There are those that take pleasure in unrighteousness, and we’re not to pray for them(even though most if not all still do.) However, the fundamentalism, as you say, is(or should be) directed more towards those that falsely claim to be Christian. Some Christians are getting it wrong, though. We shouldn’t attack… we need to point them out to other Christians and avoid them. As I said above, I don’t agree with proselytizing 24 hours a day, if someone is genuinely interested in hearing about Christ, I’m all for talking with them. If they don’t want to hear it, well, I’m not going to bludgeon them about it.

I remember this, I think from Halloween last year. This seems like a hoax or a pretend scenerio to pacify muslims watching the west through the media. To make them believe that our system is truly set up in their favor so they won’t attack us. Sorry but I. Have a difficult time believing any of this. I don’t have a problem with Islam. Jesus would do what I’d do. He’d get back in the boat and go back to Israel and leave the Muslims to their father, Lucifer. I can’t wait to wrap my arms around the Lord Jesus feet. Sick of this garbage.

Very clever, Blaze. Trying to make the heads of most of your readers explode simultaneously is quite the science* experiment.

*By science, I don’t mean any of that liberal evolution & evidence crap. I mean the invisible-giant-in-the-sky-created-himself-and-then-us/cavemen-rode-on-dinosaurs-because-the-Earth-is-only-10,000-years-old-Christian-faith-science.

I agree. Furthermore, just because those people have no rights does NOT make us ugly. The judge stated that the man wearing the costume was way beyond his first amendment rights. The judge is WRONG and at this point I would be filing charges against the judge for improper abuse of his power of the bench. I would win. The judge in this case can KMA

Sorry, but ALL religions are cults.

Islam just happens to be an obnoxious and violent cult, while Christianity and Athiesism (at least in the US, and yes Athiesism is a cult too) are just obnoxious.

Strong beliefs of “I’m right and everyone else is wrong because God said so” is the symptom of little people with even smaller minds.

FF WROTE,Strong beliefs of “I’m right and everyone else is wrong because God said so” is the symptom of little people with even smaller minds.
I would say small minds put faith in man and science as the answer. How we came to be is the easiest example of small minds. Evolution is the answer you and other like you try to use. Never really truely think past that simple chart of most fictious creatures that create man. Never questioning that darwin survial and evolution theory was that the fittiest survive. We take 9 months to make a child that child is helpless for 4 years then very slow and totally lacking of any defense from nature,or predators for another 10 years. We are least fit to survive and yet we dominate the planet. We are eons beyond anything else on the planet yet we all started at and around the same period. There is no proof positive evidence of our E chain there is noproof positive of onther spieces e-chain as well. Dogs a hundred thousand years ago are pretty much the same as dogs today. And repitlies like snakes, andcrocs today are the same as they were millions of years ago. If life is evolving and all from the same source all would evolve at a close rate……That’s not happening
whose the small minded? people with faith to belief of esistence beyond earth..or those who swallow a theory from a man whose swore hatred for a god he said didn’t exist as fact.
