Muslim Brotherhood Wants ‘Sharia’ Beheadings, Hand Amputations for Mubarak Family

Egypts Muslim Brotherhood Wants Mubarak Beheaded, Sons Hands AmputatedIt wasn’t long ago that Hosni Mubarak, the 83-year-old former president of Egypt, was a key, U.S. ally. Nevertheless, last week The Blaze reported on the start of Mubarak’s embarrassing trial over charges of corruption and complicity in the killing of protesters.

Now, the Muslim Brotherhood, which critics have long held as a violent and radical group, is calling for Sharia law to govern the punishment that Mubarak and his sons receive for their alleged crimes.

Although the radical political party has branded itself as “moderate,” the most recent recommendations for retribution paint a very different — and a very sinister — picture. If found guilty of their crimes, according to the Muslim Brotherhood’s spokesman, Mubarak and his sons deserve to face executions and hand amputations. The Australian has more:

“If a man has stolen millions of the state’s money, the penalty is that I must cut off his hand,” said Mahmoud Ghuzlan, a professor of biochemistry at Zagazig University. “There is no argument. These are God’s words.” …

Professor Ghuzlan said the penalty of amputation, mandated under sharia law, should apply to his sons Gamal — the younger, who was being groomed as heir — and Alaa, a businessman.

Perhaps this mentality explains why the Muslim Brotherhood was banned for a half-century in Egypt, finding its way officially back into the political strata following Mubarak’s fall. The Australian continues:

Professor Ghuzlan had no sympathy. Mr Mubarak should be hanged if convicted, although “beheading by the sword” would be more traditional, he said.

He sought to paint sharia as a merciful alternative to Egypt’s current legal system, saying a thief who stole only to feed his family would not suffer amputation.

The advocation of such harsh punishments comes as the political party held its first open internal elections in decades on Saturday. Below, watch a Press TV report for more about the official steps the party is taking:

This story is particularly concerning, as reports of the Muslim Brotherhood’s radical nature have been rampant. But, as calls for democracy have been ringing in Egypt, the party is being considered as a viable option.

In fact, the group may win the largest share of the vote in the nation’s Parliament come election time. And, who can forget the Islamists’ chants during a massive rally at the end of July: “The people want to implement Sharia!” Considering these recommendations and developments, the future may not be so bright for Egypt. But, alas, that depends on the will of the people, which will become more apparent as elections draw nearer.

You can look to history and easily find many instances where Christians and Jews committed horrible acts in the name of their respective religions.       The peaceful Muslims do speak up and condemn the barbarity, but are you listening to them? Ever hear of Zuhdi Jasser, to name one? Many of them don’t, however, because they fear for their lives and especially for the lives of their families if they do.

      As a Christian, do you love and pray for your enemies? Do you realize that most of the victims of the Islamofascists that make up their own version of Islam and Sharia Law are Muslims?

      Qur‘an is the Qur’an. So what? Have you read it or can just regurgitate selective quotations out of context from your Pastor who wants to sell you his latest anti-Islam book? What is Sharia Law? The one practiced in Saudi Arabia or the one practiced in Malaysia. They aren’t the same, so which is the correct one, if any? Does the Qur’an really have a sura on Automobiles that forbids women to drive? Or are there Islamist regimes using religion as a means to control and abuse their people? This isn’t anything new or specific to Islam.

      If you want to call CAIR, The Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iranian twelverism, Wahhabism, the Taliban, etc either terrorist and/or terrorist-sympathizing organizations, then I’m with you. I’m even for killing the terrorists who are majority poor brainwashed schmucks before they kill us.       Fast forwarding to today does not mean ignoring the past. Past history informs today, and those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. (Sound familiar?)

      In the past, the Muslims were more enlightened than the so-called Christians, so you are ignoring the reasons behind why religion is used by evil people to justify the abuse and control of other people. Jews were treated far better under Islam during the Middle Ages than they were under so-called Christian nations, for example. The abuse has more to do with politics than religion, so I reject your claim that Christianity has evolved. Are you really saying that true Christianity as Jesus Christ taught it has evolved into something better and more enlightened?! I have to reject you as a blaspheming heretic for holding such a viewpoint.

      Any religion that does not respect the wisdom of those words does not and can not fit the description of a good religion.

      Simple explanation.
      90% of the Muslim population are moderate. They will not stand up to the 10% of radicals. “Moderate” Muslim means you believe in the things that are being done, but you don’t get personally involved in them. As a “moderate” you will just watch or walk away while someone is being whipped, stoned, tortured or beheaded, for some trivial infraction.

      The present is informed by the past and helps us draw correct conclusions rather than the logical fallacies that you spew. I have never found any evil in nor have I slammed Christianity, which illustrates your ignorance in understanding my point. I’m sorry, but I find it difficult to communicate in strict monosyllabic words, so you are likely to continue to not understand me and my enlightened point of view. Christianity has never been nor can ever be evil. However, evil men have used (and abused) Christianity in order to justify their own evil pursuits and desires.

      What is an infidel? The Qur’an calls Christians and Jews the “People of the Book,” which refers to the Bible. The Qur’an states that the People of the Book were to be taxed at a higher rate as an incentive to convert to Islam, not that they be killed. The infidels; or those who did not believe in the one and only God and used human sacrifice, infanticide, and ritual prostitution as parts of their paganistic worship; were the ones who were to convert or be put to the sword. In the Old Testament, conversion wasn’t an option. God commanded Joshua to take the Israelites and slaughter all of the pagan infidels. Some of them were spared, leading to the latter downfall of Israel and Judah due to adoption of those heinous pagan practices.

      Where did you get your degree in Arabic from? “Allah” is literally “The God” and is the same word Arabic Christians use to refer to God. The word for “moon” is “qamar.”

Abraham was a polygamist and had an incestuous marriage with his niece, Sarai who became Sarah. Is it reasonable to judge those from the distant past based on our modern standards?

    GEE…..wasn’t that long ago I seem to remember the elites were telling us that The Brotherhood was a peaceful group of people, not radical Islam at all, and those of us who brought up sharia law were fear mongers……GEEEeeeeee…..where are they now???

      Egypt is Egypt,the US is the US .Different strokes for different folks. Their penal codes as well as their government is for them to determine ,not us.It’s not for us to prop up regimes or governments that we like.Rather it’s up to them to freely choose their governments according to their culture. If these barbaric penal codes is what egyptians really believe in, well it’s not for us to wage war against them in their homelands because it is unappealing to us.The world does not belong to us and neither do its’ peoples. Our penal codes are too lenient for murderers I submit though I believe life in prison without parole is inhuman and equally barbaric.And for many egyptians this was a brutal torturing,mass murdering dictator [which we propped up] and they have the right ethically to want retrribution and punishment for the suffering he inflicted all those years on his subjects!Sharia is as people chose to interpret their religion [like our constituion can be interpreted any way we like] and is their business and no threat here.

      If you read any of my old transcripts, I always say in regard to this, that once the Muslims are a majority they WILL impose shariah.
