Muslim Homeland Security Advisor Accused of Leaking Documents to Prove ‘Islamophobia,’ Damage Rick Perry

Muslim Homeland Security Advisor Mohammed Elibiary Accused of Leaking Documents to Prove Rick Perrys IslamophobiaOut of a 26-member advisory council, the Department of Homeland Security allowed just one advisor, Mohammed Elibiary, special access to a nationwide database that includes terror watch lists and FBI sensitive reports. Now, the Texas Muslim is being accused of leaking some of those documents to the media with the stated goal of damaging Texas governor and Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry. Elibiary asserts that the documents show what he calls the “Islamophobia” of Texas government agencies.

CBN News reports:

He’s accused of taking confidential documents from the Texas Department of Public Safety and shopping them to the media.

“Within hours of getting access he had downloaded those documents and began marketing to these publications,” investigative journalist Patrick Poole told CBN News.

“Oddly enough, Elibiary sits on the Texas Department of Public Safety Advisory Council,” Poole said. “This was his own agency that he was sabotaging — or trying to sabotage.”

Even more disturbing, is that Elibiary has committed some highly dubious acts before. In 2004, he spoke at a conference honoring Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini, calling him a “great Islamic visionary,” and has praised former Muslim Brotherhood leader Sayyid Qutb.

According to CBN, Elibiary has also publicly condemned the prosecution of Hamas fundraisers in the United States.

CBN’s Erick Stakelbeck adds:

In a disturbing 2006 email exchange with a Dallas Morning News editor, Elibiary wrote: “Treat people as inferiors and you can expect someone to put a banana in your exhaust pipe or something.”

Yet Elibiary has marketed himself as a moderate expert on Muslim de-radicalization — and the U.S. government has taken notice.

In 2010, he was named to a working group that helped shape the Obama administration’s counterterrorism strategy.

Homeland Security Director Janet Napolitano later swore in Elibiary as part of her advisory council.

“You read his writings, he is defending Sayyid Qutb…a guy that Osama bin Laden referred to and studied to give him a basis for his acts of violence,” Republican Congressman Louis Gohmert said.

“And (Napolitano) puts the guy on the Homeland Security Advisory Committee, gives him a secret clearance?”

Gohmert, who grilled Napolitano about Elibary at an October congressional hearing, is now calling for an investigation into the leak case.

But CBN notes an even larger problem could be at play. Gohmert told the news agency that by allowing someone like Elibiary into its inner-sanctum, the U.S. government is allowing radical Islamists an intimate look into U.S. counterterrorism operations.

“They‘re bringing in the Muslim Brotherhood to the inner sanctum and saying ’Look, they like us! This means peace in our time!‘ And what they’re doing is subjecting this nation to real danger,” he said.

Elibiary has not responded to CBN’s request for comment.

Meanwhile, it remains unclear why Elibiary was given exclusive access to the DHS database in the first place.

      Rick Perry doesn’t need a link to sink himself. He can do that himself.

      Remember in the debate when Santorum said that Perry, Cain, and Romney supported TARP, then both Perry and Cain tried to talk their way out of the support. Well Romney was the only one consistent on it and Rick Perry is now attacking Romney on supporting TARP even though he did the same. If this administration is truly this stupid to allow this to appease Islam–they are at best incompetent. However, I don’t think they are this stupid–I don’t think Obama is this stupid. After hearing this news i don’t think we will make it to the election next year i fear that one of these jihad muslin will sneak across or border with a dirty bomb and set it off in a major city in the southwest and that will be the end of our bill of rights and life as we know it. One more thing i think our government is already planing for a bomb like that, my son lives in Phoenix and he called me last week and told me that the Air Force and California National guard, ran a training drill by where he works in downtown Phoenix. He ask them what they were training for and they told him MASS dead body recovery after a low yield dirty bomb goes off, and you want to hear the really funny part his local news had NO REPORTS that they were even running a drill like that and next question why are they using the national guard from a different state to run this drill why not use the guard from Arizona, makes you wonder what they are planing for us doesn’t it. Makes you wonder if they are not planing to take over all the larger city’s in America after an event like this and control everyone who does not go along with their plans for a post Constitution America.

No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court”

      Do you doubt that any and every meeting, discussion or plan that involved this Muslim wasn’t communicated back to the ideology that looks to destroy our Republic?

By the way, what a surprise that he is from Texas – anyone who cares to spend the time just look at the HUGE segment of muslims in Texas and the funneling of money from them to Iran, etc..
