Muslim Politician Says Europe Is Being Threatened by ‘Militant Secularism’

LONDON (The Blaze/AP) — A British Cabinet minister says Europe is threatened by a wave of “militant secularism” and religion should play a bigger role in public life.
Sayeeda Warsi says Europe should “become more confident and more comfortable in its Christianity.” Additionally, she calls for a society in which “faith has a place at the table, though not an exclusive position.”
In an article for Tuesday’s Daily Telegraph, she accuses militant secularists of having the same intolerant instincts as authoritarian regimes. She writes:
For a number of years I have been saying that we need to have a better understanding of faith in our country. Why? Because I profoundly believe that faith has a vital and important role to play in modern society. But mistakenly, faith has been neglected, undermined – and yes, even attacked – by governments in recent years. [...]
I will be arguing that to create a more just society, people need to feel stronger in their religious identities and more confident in their creeds. In practice this means individuals not diluting their faiths and nations not denying their religious heritages. [...]
My fear today is that a militant secularisation is taking hold of our societies. We see it in any number of things: when signs of religion cannot be displayed or worn in government buildings; when states won’t fund faith schools; and where religion is sidelined, marginalised and downgraded in the public sphere.
This isn’t the first time that Warsi has stood up for faith and religion. In October, she encouraged Christians to stand up for their faith. It was then that she wrote a weekend editorial of the Daily Telegraph, saying that the British people need to foster an environment in their home country where they can be:
“…unashamedly proud of their faith – where they don’t feel that they have to leave religion at the door. That means being proud of Christianity, not downgrading it.”
Warsi, a Muslim, is leading a delegation of British politicians to the Vatican this week. Her call for religious revitalization comes at the same time that prayer is being banned at local council meetings across London and Wales and numerous laws and incidents reinforce the ongoing conflict between faith and the public sphere.
Most Britons are not regular churchgoers, and for years political leaders have largely heeded the advice of Tony Blair’s spin doctor, Alastair Campbell – “We don’t do God.”
But Prime Minister David Cameron recently urged the Church of England to lead a revival of traditional Christian values.

God may want to destroy the church. it would depend on which church you’re referring to. Do you think God would destroy the church Al Sharpton preaches at or Jeremiah Wright? How about Rick Warren? I‘m not God and have no right to judge but there’s a few churches I think have drifted from the true teachings of the bible. I’m thinking God would be willing to turn those to dust.

When islam was held in check by the 13th century and failed to expand in to new territories their assimilation of new knowledge ended.

A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”
So tell me again how they are not attacking Christianity?

Therefore, if you are considered a Muslim, even if YOU ARE NOT A PRACTICING MUSLIM, you are just considered an INFADEL, and can therefore be killed, ignored, reprimanded, etc.

These folks told the Pope to take a hike. What do the muslims think their fate will be if they rediscover their Christian garb, only to find it soiled by Islam? I would imagine she would find her hereditary title and position in the peerage called into question.
I encourage all in Great Britain get that Christian garb out and see what the muslim have done to it while you indulged yourselves in unicorns and rainbows. Repair it. Wear it.

She doesn’t care about the “other faiths”. She seeks to promote only Islam. As soon as the other faiths begin expressing themselves, she will immediately begin to inject Islam into the proceedings, insisting Islam be included, and then simply that Islam takes over.
This same tactic is being used in America. As soon as Americans succeed in getting more prayer into the schools, just guess who will come knocking? The muslims will insist that if other prayers are allowed, then so should Islamic prayers. They will even go so far as to craft the legislation such that students cannot opt-out one the praying has begun, even if it Islamic prayers.
If she were serious, she would apostate and turn away from Mecca. But she does not. Because she seeks to spread Islam through deception. Like her prophet Mohammed.
School prayer proponents would be wise to exclude Islam and any of its expressions from their celebrations.

A Christian does not make an appearance before Muslim leaders in Egypt and leaders in Germany, declaring himself to be “the One” that they have been waiting for. The anti-Christ does! Is he? Not sure yet, but he minimally is kin to him.

They just thought it was a big, fancy vacation taken by an ungrateful First Lady.
So much of what this President has done has resulted in the diminishment of Western Civilization and the increased expression of his chosen faith, Islam. Each and every action is designed to destroy anything that offends his chosen deity, Allah.

People fail to understand islam is deceit and anytime you hear a muslim espousing the virtues of Christianity it is only to further the spread of islam in the long run. Mohammed was a low life thug that created islam to raise an army in order to bring pillaging to a new level. I like to joke that no images were allowed of him so that they had nothing to put on the wanted posters.
