In a scenario that came to a bizarre and tragic end, a Muslim woman who was facing federal charges after she allegedly sent a fake weapon of mass destruction package to a politician earlier this year was killed by a police officer in Marietta, Georgia.

Jameela Barnette, a 53-year-old medical records consultant, was shot dead after she threatened a police officer with a handgun and knife at her apartment on Christmas morning. Police were called to her home by a panic alarm that she apparently triggered and when an officer arrived, Barnette attacked. In a news release, Cobb County police wrote:

“Moments after knocking on the door, (Barnette) opened it and began assaulting the officer with the weapons. Despite receiving injuries to his arm, the officer was able to use his service weapon to stop the assault.”

While this incident was odd in itself, the woman’s actions earlier this year set off a series of events that led the federal government to wage charges against her. In April, she purportedly mailed a vial of perfume, a hate-filled letter and a stuffed monkey (wearing two stars of David) to New York State Sen. Greg Ball. A note apparently read, “FINAL DESTINATION: AUSCHWITZ.”

According to a woman claiming to be Barnette, Ball was anti-Muslim, so the package was intended to target his biases. LoHud.com has more:

The Georgia grandmother told The Journal News in April that she sent Ball the Curious George doll with the anti-Semitic note and cheap perfume. The monkey was pinned with Stars of David and the letter, which addressed Ball as “Dead Man Walking” because he is “using Muslims to further his career.”

Barnette sent the package to Ball’s Albany office, prompting a response by state police and a hazardous materials unit, which transported it to a state Health Department laboratory for analysis.

Last month, the FBI arrested her for allegedly sending the hoax WMD to Ball. In addition to mailing the odd package to the senator, she sent Rep. Peter King (R-NY) a bloody pig’s foot and an anti-Semitic letter.

In this latter case, she was angered by the radicalization hearings King held throughout 2011. The letter to King reportedly ended with “kiss my black, Muslim-American a**.”

Some outlets have described Barnette as a “blogger.” A woman by the same name (presumably Barnette) commented on blogs earlier this year using some pretty startling words. Here is some of the commentary:

“I feel sad for the woman, she was obviously deranged and had serious mental issues,” King said in an interview with Politico on Monday. “It shows that she was capable of violence, that with much of the hysterical coverage of the hearings, the danger is setting off dangerous people like this woman.”

King went on to place blame on the media for its coverage of his hearings. “I doubt she was watching [the hearings] on C-SPAN. She was reacting to the media and its terrible exaggerations, which can set off people who have mental issues,” he said.

      Wow, you would think a medical records consultant would know DNA testing would not prove Jews have same genetics as pigs and monkeys. Also her use of a dangling paticiple is bothersome.     Your problem is that if there is more than one page of comments you just don’t bother sorting those first pages. unfortunately that totally defeats the purpose of having a sort by newest message to oldest since it’s only sorting the VERY LAST page of the comments. But that isn’t what your customers want right, so what we do in the rest of the programming world is try and figure out why it‘s like that and change it so’s it sorts ALL the comments from newest (That means the latest entry according to the date and time) to oldest (The first comment entered) would then ALWAYS be the LAST comment on the LAST page of the comments section. OR, maybe this is a union shop in which case…nevermind…

It does not include being retaliated against because you wanted to murder others who have not attacked you.     So then, have any of you lukewarm people figured out yet that there is a difference in the souls of people who are born into tyrannies and people who are born into lands that have Liberty? Typically the land called “New Jerusalem” is a land of Liberty, and the souls in people who are not conquerors, are born into captivity of non-free nations, and the souls of people that are conquerors are born into nations of Liberty.

    You can bet your botom dollar that BHO and Eric Holder will make life a living hell for the poor cop who defended his own life. Look at how they have treated the Border Patrol Agents.

    I guess the BHO administration’s tactic will be to tell police to TURN AND RUN if threatened.

      The Obama administration will probably bring the officer up on charges for racial profiling. If she had not been black, the officer would not have reacted to the gun and knife she was using to assault him. It is obviously profiling, because it couldn’t possibly be his first reaction was to her weapons rather than the color of her skin.

      And I guess CAIR will be suing the city and the officer for using excessive force because she was a Muslim. But maybe not. After all, women are very low on the totem pole in Islaqmic society. They will probably just be pi**ed she didn’t get the cop before she met Allah face to face. I wonder if Mohammed has enough Muslim women to beat and scourge in Allahland?

      Don’t forget the Black Muslims: Elijah Mohammed / Louis Farrakhan have been busy SINCE the 60′s peddling this Hate Speech ! I remember their “ theocracy” included a belief that the “ white devil” was responsible for all of the world’s problems. Too bad we didn‘t realize that this Hate Speech wasn’t just Black Hate, but endemic Muslim Hate ! Early Warning signs….
