North Carolina Store Clerk Shoots and Kills Two Alleged Robbers

Two men are dead after they allegedly assaulted and tried to rob a store clerk in Gates County, North Carolina Tuesday night.

According to the clerk, the two men held him up at gunpoint and demanded money, before striking him to the floor and proceeding to kick him repeatedly.

Authorities said he was so badly beaten that he actually had the imprint of a boot on his chest at the end of the night.

The men were seemingly unaware that the clerk had a gun of his own in the store, and according to News Channel 3, he managed to grab it and shoot one of the suspects in a behind-the-back shot.  After that men fled, he shot the other as well.

Police found one of the bodies near the store, and the other roughly a quarter mile down the road.

At this point, authorities speculate there may have been a “getaway man” involved, who simply drove away when he saw all that had happened.

The store clerk was hospitalized for significant bruising on his head, chest, and back, but has already been released and was able to give a statement to police that enabled them to fully begin the investigation.

Authorities say they are looking in to whether the suspects are related to a string of other robberies in the area, though reports have not yet detailed the suspects’ descriptions.

Eddie graduated Perquimans County High School in 2010, and Quinten was supposed to graduate this year. The school confirms that Eddie was a varsity football player and was ranked third in the state for basketball .

“He was an all around good student,” said principal Chante Lassiter, who remembers Eddie. “Very liked by his peers and teachers here in the community.”

Quinten was a senior honor-roll student at Perquimans County High School.

Funeral home obituaries list Quinten as 17 years old and Eddie as 20 years old.

The suspects’ cousin, Sandra Felton, concluded: “I know it was a terrible thing on the other part,” in reference to the attack on the clerk, “But still, we cannot forget that we have lost two lives, no matter what.”

      Regardless the race and especially if all white. The media, in particular the likes of BSNBC will blame the deaths on the store clerk/owner since he is likely an upstanding citizen, and those thugs should have been left alive so they can be rehabilitated. Regardless, it will be blamed on the true victim.

      Isnt it just wonderful that when the blaze cuts & pastes their stories, they go back and delete important information, such as the identities of the people involved, is the blaze trying to be PC instead of actually reporting all the facts ?

      the “”“alleged””" robbers were black,,(go figure) and the store owners name is Amman, no mention of race, but that is relevant as he was using his 2nd amendment rights to bear arms, and protect himself and his property. God Bless him !
      It didnt take much time or effort to find out these pieces of information, so why do the so called ““ reporters ”” at the blaze find it so difficult ?

      and another question not pertaining to this, why is everything always alleged ? if there is video, audio, police reports, etc. etc. etc. that says something was done,,, its not alleged any more !!
      if there are no witnesses, but only suspicion, then you can call it alleged !

      You use “alleged” until the police report is done .. if no charges are leveled and it is found they were robbing the place (no surprise there) then you can drop the ‘alleged” .. until then it is just covering yourself against a lawsuit from the “alleged” robbers families. (or Rev Al, Jesse Jackson, the NBPP and others)

      The Blaze has neglected a story in Garland, TX….a black man robbed a FINA station and set the 72 year old white female clerk on fire with accelerant he BROUGHT with him. The article in the local news said that there was no evidence she resisted. He just wanted to set a white lady on fire, I guess?

      It is being reported that the federal govt, upon learning that there was a robbery in NC, and that 2 black robbers were shot and on the loose, dispatched 2, 16-man SWAT teams to the area, complete with helicopter gunship support, and drones with .50 cal machine guns on them. They were looking to arrest the person responsible for shooting the 2 black choir boys.

      It appears the shooters are brothers (both kinds), as in they are blood brothers, and both are black.

      The shooter appears to have a middle eastern name, and would most likely be Muslim.

      What a spot to be in for the media. They love to defend the Muslims, and we know you can not shoot violent black criminals, and not be declared guilty by the media.

      Should be a real tough nut to crack for the likes of Farrakhan, the Black Panthers (they have strong ties to Islam).

      We’re still trying to get the illegal and immoral imprisonment of Mr. Ersland to end here in Oklahoma. It is pretty sick that a couple of teens with guns think they can stroll into a store and hold people at gunpoint. And then, when someone does something about it, a jury of asinine idiots picked not at random, but cherry picked for the prosecution and judge, can convict him of murder in the first degree. Usually reserved for a serial killer or a premeditated and thought out murder, first degree murder was the conviction for a man involved with saving the life of himself and several employees of the store in an act that lasted about 30 seconds.

It isn’t like it used to be. Classes are scheduled all hours of the day and you almost cannot even work yourself through college anymore unless you take 8 years to do so.

      What a shame, two young men who were apparently good high school students and athletes that went the wrong way. Their criminal career and lives were cut short by a store owner who shot and killed both of them after receiving a vicious beating during a robbery.

      I guess Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and their ilk will be hollering for justice, but hey, justice has been served already. When a person decides to become a criminal and beat an innocent person viciously while robbing him or her, then if he gets shot and killed during the act, that’s JUSTICE!

      There is a lot of denial and knee jerk reaction in these comments.

      Self Defense does not give you the right to kill someone. It does give you the right to stop an attack. For deadly force to be justified the attack must be capable of inflicting serious bodily harm or death. If, as a result of the force reasonably necessary to stop the attack, the attacker dies – that is sad, but justified. Once the attack stops the justification ends and the force has to stop.

      The elements of self defense are a reasonable belief that through no fault of the victim:

      1) The attacker has the then present intent to inflict serious bodily harm or death.
      2) The attacker has the then existing means to inflict that harm.
      3) The attacker has the then existing opportunity to inflict the harm.

      Here all of the elements seem to be present. If the investigation supports that finding then a finding of justifiable homicide by reason of self defense is required. I think this clerk is in good standing if his story holds up.

      In Oklahoma the pharmacist was justified in shooting the kid the first time. His problem came when he returned and shot an unconscious person lying on the floor of the store. The attack had stopped. There was no justification for the second shooting.

      If you are going to be armed, you better know the law. Even then an odoriferous brown substance may hit the fan. Zimmerman proved that.

      Ahman or Oman is a Muslim name. The clerk was probably a Yemeni. Many people from Yemen have come to the USA and opened up convenient stores after other immigrants have fled that industry due to robberies by thugs.

      There was a big case just recently of three Yemenis shot in North Carolina by black teen robbers and it made the major news in across the Arab world. While the Liberal MSM just saw it as just another crime, in the Arab world it was a HUGE and showed black people in a bad light. These teen robbers are doing more damage to the image of black people overseas by killing and robbing foreigners who are trying to make a living in the USA.

      He, more than likely, owns his own store. His name sounds Indian or Pakistani but no matter what his ethnicity, he gave these slugs the money yet they proceeded to beat him unmercifully. Here is the result of liberal educational policies which teach that the end justifies the means. These two young men obviously had no morality training either in school or at home.

      The clerk acted in self defense and should be fully acquitted of any charges. When the Sheriff’s Office digs deeper, they might find these subjects were involved in other crimes or gang activity.

      It’s too bad for the family of these two brothers but THEY made the decision to commit robbery and beat the store clerk. I hope that it will be a lesson for anyone else contemplating such activities, toe public is becoming more and more aware of the need for self protection.

      It won’t be for long if Obama has his way! The Obama Administration is working RIGHT NOW to get rid of the 2nd Amendment as proving that ONLY law enforcement can have guns.

      We won’t give them up….last 31/2 years have demonstrated the need for 2nd amendment rights..our founding fathers were smart enough to see a dictator like Obama in the future…We have the right to fight back as well as a moral obligation to protect the freedom so many before us have paid the price for…I will not live under the tyranny of gay dictator..

      Would simply be too funny…Zimmerman is innocent of all charges and will prove so in court. He is threatened with “Civil” action once the criminal case is done. If I were Zimmerman, I’d take a page from OJ, never own anything myself, go to civil court without an attorney unless one represented me pro bono and let them figure out how to collect anything. I live in Florida and Zimmerman will never have a problem working here, or doing anything he wants from a recreational standpoint…The WHITE community loves him…and we will protect him if necessary.

      BTW, Dad was in the 82nd and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. I’m sure proud of you guys, not matter where you were stationed.

      Yes they were Democrats, but they had ran out of food stamps and this called for desperate measures. No one who hasn’t been there, knows what it’s like to have to sit on your front porch, without a 40 oozier in a brown paper bag. The neighbors walk and drive by and laugh at your demise and the next thing you know you’re robbing a convenience store and then you inadvertently drop your guard. Then they announce you and Brother’s funeral will be next Tuesday.
