NAACP Joins Left-Wing Groups to ‘Monitor’ Tea Party Groups

“A watched tea pot never boils.”
That’s the rallying slogan of a new online “watchdog” site launched by the NAACP, in conjunction with partners ThinkProgress, George Soros’ Media Matters and a group called New Left Media. TeaPartyTracker.org advertises itself as a site that “monitors racism and other forms of extremism within the Tea Party movement.”
According to the Daily Caller, the NAACP reached out to the various groups for help in compiling information implicating the Tea Party:
Media Matters and Think Progress representatives said their content and reporting haven’t changed and that the NAACP approached their organizations seeking only to republish select content they’ve produced. The NAACP’s new teapartytracker.org is aimed specifically at highlighting “racism” in the Tea Party.
New Left Media, the duo of Chase Whiteside and Erick Stoll who use a “Trojan trick” to get interviews with Tea Partiers, is also a partner organization on the new site.
As for what Media Matters, New Left Media, Think Progress and the NAACP plan to do with teapartytracker.org, Think Progress editor Faiz Shakir and Media Matters Vice President for Research and Communications Ari Rabin-Havt said the NAACP contacted them about sharing content related to the Tea Party.
Tea Partiers beware — the NAACP is watching you, and they now have a website where people can post “evidence” of racism and extremism. But despite Andrew Breitbart’s offer of a sizable reward for solid evidence, there remains none.

I am a political junkie, so much so that my daughter decided to give me a blog site in order for me to vent my frustrations. I am using the blog to reach all peoples but in particular Blacks. There is such a void of Black conservative thought in the Black community and I’m hopeful that I can be just one additional tool to change how my folks see the world. I received this blog from my daughter because I was able to convince her of her naive outlook towards Obama. She is now a true conservative. Seems to me it would be time to give another party the chance and see what they could do for the next 50! How about you? Al Sharpton = integrity? Jesse Jackson = honor? I have trouble with that especially when comparing them to someone like Niger Innis or Ward Connerly.

A moment in your life that made you so happy your heart would burst. Then reply to these idiots looking for “GOTCH’YA” youtube videos. If we just stick our guns, and not aim them at any smart-@$$ punk, we’ll be fine. Remain calm, remain collected.
In fact, do what ticks them off even more, pray for them. Just kneel down and begin praying to God. They can do nothing but film you praying, then they’re making fun of religion and that only works on so many people..

I don’t really believe that changing the name of the group will help. But if Alveda King was interested in a political undertaking, which is what this would be, I am sure that many would respond positively.
The understanding of what the historic tea party was all about has been totally lost in the mudslinging. The current TEA movement stands for Taxed Enough Already. The original tea party revolt was about taxation without representation although the Stamp Act was the straw that broke the camel’s back when it came to finally wanting to be free from the British Empire.

HUMAN—-not a political group per say but a true group who stands for HUMANS just as MLK Jr did, not for colored or non colored… MLK Jr did not want anyone dependent on government, he wanted Government not to see him as “black”… That’s the check he was cashing, the check Abe wrote thru Emancipation that all men are created EQUAL, so he would have the same fair chance as the HUMAN next to him based on character and not to be distinguished by skin…We have to start teaching our youth to be colorblind….
As long as we teach to see color, we will be racist….If we refer to race or color in the name of a group, principle teaches us that group sees color……
Keep your attitude and stay strong….
The Tea Party has nothing to fear for it isn’t racist

Posted on September 3, 2010 at 6:10amI am assuming that these gentlemen have never heard the saying, “When you point at someone, you have three fingers pointing back at you.” Perhaps they should monitor their own organizations for these undesireable elements. After all, wouldn’t they have more control over that than the Tea Party? You need to make sure that your own house is in order before you insist that others put theirs in order.

Why do we Americans in the current year of 2010 have or recognize a group with the name “National Association for the Advancement of COLORED People”???? I propose the Tea Parties request the name be changed to a more diverse inclusive name so that it does not sound racist or seem to stand for one race……..

That’s why I was glad to see so many other ethic groups represented on the stage at the Kennedy center and at the rally on 8.28. (which by the way it blows my mind that they attempted to block prayers from being said in the Kennedy center…Who sponsored it and paid for it?) We cannot take a true step forward in this country until we are TRULY taking it together. There are individuals out there who would become irrelevant should we do that so they continue to advocate racial divide. They keep picking the scab off the sore and never allow it to heal. Every time they sense closure they immediately pick, pick, pick! Make it bleed again!
Stand together my friends. God is our shield. We don’t need to strike out in anger. We don’t need to be sucked into their traps. We are better than that. If you see any crazies in the movement, pray for them and ask them to leave. We don’t need trouble, we need our constitution back.
The NAACP should know that there is NO TEA PARTY! IT IS NOT A PARTY!!!!! It is a grass roots movement. No one buses us anywhere, no one makes signs for us, nobody feeds us. We clean up after ourselves because we honor and respect or country and other peoples property! Heck, we even bring babies to our rallies…(Hmmmmm How dangerous to expose babies to such violent hateful angry racists) We speak for ourselves and it is quite evident now that there are more of us than anybody ever though.t WE THE PEOPLE are the founders and we carry the mantra. No politician speaks for us. We speak for ourselves and we will do that on election day in November.
Restoring honor and integrity are paramount for this election and for the 2012 election.

Small government and real communities; we don’t need social policies(an attempt to artificially create a community) imposed on us by the government, American are charitable despite an insane tax rate. I’m hoping that Mr. Barton wrote/compiled the book in the journalist fashion of “who, what, why, where, and when” because the writing has been an eye opener for me. Ever time a black issue comes up they run to these A***holes. There are many well educated black people the media can speak to on race issues, they don’t, why? These fools serve a purpose, they’re used to get ratings for radio and TV shows on all networks. These polarizing figures get people in a lather and most sane people understand how ridiculous Sharpton and Jackson are. For Example, nobody ever calls to get Dr. Walter William’s opinion on issues, why, it doesn’t fit their template. With all do respect, how you would feel every time Dave Duke spoke, someone call him the leader of white people (or whatever your race is).
I know plenty of black people who are conservative and Tea Party minded, the Media just ignores them and finds clowns like Sharpton. Even Glenn Beck goes to Sharpton and asked him about black a people and race relation, that’s shameful!

Posted on September 3, 2010 at 2:58amEmpires throughout history have fallen as a result of greed and a lust for power – so it’s not surprising that a group like the NAACP would offer a “sizable reward” to antagonize and then capture tea party members loosing their composure and label it as racism in order to discredit them. That’s exactly why people like Glenn Beck advocate tactics like Dr. King and Ghandi in order to transcend them. The more power these people lose the more they will tighten their grip and it will become increasingly obvious to others as they show their true colors.

These people are so diabolic that they will send 2 people in and one will start it and the other will retaliate and bang they have “proof”.. How will anyone be able to tell if the confrontation was a tea partyier or a plant?? We will need to be VERY careful and take the approach that they did at the mall when some of Sharpton crowd showed up.. when we are at these events we need to be vigilant about who is around us and if we believe someone may cause trouble we need to record it and tell them we will pray for them. I saw one of them at the 1st tea party (that i attended in Pxh) and we had the police gather around him and take him away..I know no one in this movenment would be rude or harmful but if they set it up others (if they just watch the lame stream media) will believe it. They are testing our Christian values and WE SHALL WIN, cause we have an advantage they can’t understand we have a greater power on our side.. God Bless our Troops and send them home safe…

I am an oldie and it seems like I have been thrown back to the 60′s! For so long they have played the same OLD record. Maybe they do NEED to go to Washington so the rest of the NATION can see what their true colors are. I wonder if the tides foundation will pay people to show up and cover travel expenses? Will they card everyone who misbehaves? or just check skin color? color of blogs on line? If I’m half black, 1/4th black, Native American, or Asian, will I qualify for tracking?
Will they expose non-racism, inclusionism, black members of the tea party, and testamonials by the ethnic minority members of the tea party for an accurate ratio of racists to non-racists? Are the trackers qualified in the field of statistics or tested for color blindness, or just able to breathe? Can illegal aliens and Al Qieda sign up? Is Soros providing free training? Can tea-party members snitch on their own? Will the trackers have uniforms? How about the jack-booted para-military look?
