It still cracks me up this guy’s last name is Jealous – God certainly does have a sense of humor. Maybe he will send a flock of buzzards to soar over the Sharpton/Schultz rally.

So which side of his mouth is he talking from? I think we can solve some of energy problem with these Moonbats. All we have to do is to make windmills and set the Moonbats in front of them and tell them to talk. Ben Jelous needs a daisy and play, ” Your racist, no your not” Then he can make up his mind if we are or not.

    Sticks and stones…

Don’t let this sort of rhetoric distract you or cause you to waste your energy trying to argue against it. That’s their intention. You see, if they can get you to lower your thoughts from “Be a loving person and find the good in life” to “That rotten so-and-so just slandered me”, then they win. Shake it off and don’t give it any residual thoughts. Keep in mind that you must respect a person, before you respect their opinion. I don’t know either of these guys, nor do they know me. My opinion of them is no more flattering than their opinion of the tea party…whether they know it is inconsequential.

Do you know why the left is so scared after Beck’s 8/28 rally? It’s because hundreds of thousands of people joined together to share the same thoughts…that is some incredibly strong energy! Unless they can get you to change your thoughts, they lose. Don’t counter the momentum of good, which was started on 8/28, with thoughts of anger or injustice. Stay the course!

Very wise counsel. Food for thought. The Restoring Honor event brought people of all races together in love and cooperation: character not color was prevalent. MLK was honored as a hero. This should be appauded not people trying to takeover MLK’s legacy.

Isn‘t it interesting that the Reverand Sharpton and the Reverand Jackson don’t even understand the atonement of Jesus Christ: that people who are born again through Christ’s blood are new creatures. Instead of saying Hallaluah for so many people listening to and trying to implement MLK’s dreams and unifying our efforts is condemned as having evil motives. I know that I grew up in a racist home but accepting Christ as my personal savior changed my life and worldview. I’m a CONVERT to character NOT color. That IMO was much of what Restoring Honor was all about.

Windmill: “Birthism” as you call it is about honering Constitutional requirements to be qualified to be POTUS. Obama could easily solve this whole matter by opening up his medical records, education records and provide a forensically validated copy of the LONG FORM ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE HOUSED IN HAWAII. IF HE IS TRULY A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN THEN THIS WOULD STOP THE CONTENTION.

Obama is the race card to protect against being exposed for the lier he is. IF you question his “take my word that I’m a natural born citizen,” you are racist is dispicable. Racism in it’s worse form is practiced by Obama.

If they anything at all they could say in defense of what the current administration is doing to this country, they would. But they don’t have any defense; everything they’ve tried to do has made things worse. They can’t defend their president by using his record of success. All they have left is to cry “racist”. It is nothing more than the equivalent of the guy in a shooting match who runs out of bullets so he throws his gun at the other guy.

One says: I’m here to Kill bush (Shoot me)—–Of course these are not right–but where were these people when they did it to Bush??? But somehow, it’s racist if we see Obama as Hitler and there were even T-Shirts made “Kill Bush”–and it’s okay!!

If the Tea Party were named the National Association for the Advancement of White People then I’d probably agree that it is racist. However, the only group with a name and policy that excludes other races is the NAACP. So we can reasonably assume that the experts on racism are the NAACP, practice makes perfect.

I always thought Billy Joel’s Angry Young Man fit this dude from the NAACP much better:

There’s a place in the world for the angry young man
With his working class ties and his radical plans
He refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl
And he’s always at home with his back to the wall.
He‘s proud of the scars and the battles he’s lost
He struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross
And he likes to be known as the angry young man.

Give a moment or two to the angry young man
With his foot in his mouth and his heart in his hand
He’s been stabbed in the back, he’s been misunderstood
It’s a comfort to know his intentions are good
He sits in a room with a lock on the door
With his maps and his medals laid out of the floor
And he likes to be known as the angry young man.

I believe I’ve passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage,
I’ve found that just surviving was a noble fight
I once believed in causes too, had my pointless point of view
Life went on no matter who was right or wrong.

And there’s always a place for the angry young man
With his fist in the air and his head in the sand
He’s never been able to learn from mistakes
He can’t understand why his heart always breaks
His honor is pure, and his courage as well
He‘s fair and he’s true, and he’s boring as hell
And he’ll go to his grave as an angry old man.

There’s a place in the world for the angry young man
With his working class ties and his radical plans
He refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl
And he’s always at home with his back to the wall.
He‘s proud of the scars and the battles he’s lost
He struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross
And he likes to be known as the angry young man

Right wing machine? Funded by big oil? C’mon, my wife and I drove to DC, stayed in a hotel, and figured out all by ourselves how to get to the Restoring Honor Rally all on our own dime. Nobody paid for us to go, nobody forced us to go, we just wanted to go because we do want to have logical, adult conversation about the state of the union. Guess what, we find that with the Tea Party and the people who attended the Restoring Honor Rally. I’m always willing to discuss my point of view with anybody who agrees that they just MIGHT be wrong, just as I MIGHT be wrong. In my mind, racism and falsely claiming racism does NOT help this country. Both are abhorrent. By the way, I have witnessed absolutely NO RACISM at the 828 rally or at the Tea Party’s that I have attended.

There are too many people trying coerce each other to their side of an issue and not enough people willing to persuade others with rational arguments as to why their ideas are best. I for one do NOT want to force anybody to my way of thinking, I want them to be persuaded that my way is correct through their own free will OR I would like them to persuade me that their way is the better way to procede. Either way, both parties will be satisfied with the outcome. A good example of this is in the 1980 PBS production “Free to Choose” featuring Milton Friedman. This is a ten part series where Milton Friedman explains his ideas on certain topics for about 20 minutes and then debates these ideas with a diverse panel. In one episode he debates with Francis Fox Piven, of Cloward and Piven. Also, on that same episode Thomas Sowell ties it up with Ms. Piven. Anyway, google “Free to Choose” and enjoy the civil debate.

The more the liberals bring out the race card in instances like this, when there IS no racism, the more people laugh at them and understand just how pitiful their attempts at deceptive manipulation are.

They are shooting themselves in the foot but are too blind to realize how doing this makes them lose followers, not the Tea Party or conservatives. Our ranks are growing tremendously.

I have African American clients who come in to my establishment everyday who disagree with the current administration, many of whom didn’t vote for Barack Obama. In fact one is the president of the university here where I live. Are they uneducated racists? Or is that different? i welcome your ideals “dummy”, just as you claim that ALL tea partiers are “dummies” for a racist cause, i will notate you as a “dummy” for speaking like you have a purpose when you are just a “dummy” for an agenda which you care nothing about….u just like the sparks because that is where the media will side with and defend YOU but not ME….dummy

Intellectual tend to embrace the opposition in dialog as they are more prone to intellectual pursuits rather than preaching to the quire.

would this be the same line of thinking that believes it is not racist for an african-american to vote for obama based on skin color? not everything is about race. not every white person is hitler, and not every black person is rev. jeremiah wright.

The shoe won’t fit…because we are NOT racists, we are fed up with jerks like you and I don’t care what color you are! Get a clue…racism charges are no more than a crutch to lean on. Time to kick the crutch out from under the left to see them stand up like REAL men and women! Oh…sorry they can’t, because they have NO SPINE!

All groups regardless of Race have Left or Right wing whack jobs. The Tea Party and The NAACP should call them out.

What? Racism has been out of the news for more than 24 hours so we need to ramp up the racist rhetoric to keep it in the spotlight. No racism, no job.

If I am a white guy and libs call me a racist. How do you explain me hating a 1/2 white guy raised by “typical white grandpartents”???? He is one of the least black guys I have seen in years. He seems to have been raised around almost all white institutions and assimilates with the socialist leaning folkes in this country. That’s what is distastfull to me. I will fight to keep my liberty.

Just still wondering what that dream of his father is?? Could a liberal tell me?

These people just can’t help themselves.Their play book demands that they use race. If they begin looking ground because they have no facts or proof to back their rhetoric then they have to manufacture it. They are so removed mentally by what the tea party movement even means that they have to make things up. wanting smaller government, fiscal responsibility, honesty and values restored to government, have absolutely zero to do with race. I find it amazing that having a President that is half black and half white who was voted into office by people of all races and religions can’t be disagreed with unless race is blamed. The man has a socialist agenda, the agenda was hidden from voters by a massively bias media. People don’t like his and his administrations policies. It is that simple.

      P.s….
There are no tea party leaders, they have no examples of racism (otherwise they’d be showing it over and over again). I have seen African American, Hispanic, Asian, diverse religions all in the tea party movement. Glenn Becks rally had nothing to do with politics, but everything to do with honesty, honor and spirituality. These radical left wing media wacky jobs are the ones who are racist, and African Americans are treated the worst by these people if they dare be conservative. The reason they constantly use race is to keep the African American and Hispanic votes. if they convince them that conservatives are racist they can control their vote. its disgusting! Especially when historically it was the Republicans that backed the civil rights movement. It was liberals like the late Byrd who tried to block the civil rights vote…they neglected to mention he was a leader of the kkk when he passed away either!

      Question…

If they are going to turn up the heat on TEA Parties by LOOKING for racism… how about we have them do the same to themselves.

      Hey NAACP…
Did you ever denounce George L Forbes for this?

I think Ben Jealous is seeing the same doctor that Michael Jackson saw when becoming white. It reminds me of that movie where that white guy was playing the black guy “Tropic Thunder”. I’m sorry I get sidetracked with the black and white thing every time I hear the NAACP talk mainly because that’s all they talk about. Now what did he say?
