Nancy Pelosi: Republicans Just Want to ‘Destroy’ Everything

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D- Cal) unleashed all the House Minority Leader fury she could muster against Republicans yesterday.
The former Speaker of the House spoke to the liberal Think Progress, and shared her assessment that the debt ceiling fight for conservatives has nothing to do with the debt.
Summarizing her views on Republicans who believe a $13 trillion deficit is something to be concerned about, Pelosi said:
“It is about destroying government — federal involvement in education. It’s about lean air, clean water, food safety, public safety. You name it, they’re there to diminish it. Destroy it.”

Yes, we want to return control of our schools to the local level and eliminate the unions that have destroyed them. Yes, we want to eliminate the unholy alliance between all unons and the democratic party. Yes, we want to shrink the size and power of the federal government.
No, we don’t want to destroy food safety, clean air and water, and all of the other worn out talking points you keep repeating. You just can’t stand not being the almighty speaker of the house. John is doing a much better job and he does not need to Fly Air Force 3 to do it.

Well said I would take it a step further to say yes I want to destroy every single social progressive program that has been created that has only hampered the American citizen and burdened them with taxes and regulations. Since we don’t want a socialist/communist government, then you must realize that we need a strong business environment to take advantage of the wealth creating opportunities that reveal themselves.
