Nancy Pelosi: Dems Have ‘Very Good Chance’ to Take Back House

Nancy Pelosi has a pretty positive outlook when it comes to her party’s chances of taking back the House of Representatives next November. In an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Jonathan Karl, Pelosi said:
“We just take it, as I say to the members, one day, one good day, one good week, one good month, one good quarter at a time…
What we want is to change the view that the Republicans have that it is OK to abolish Medicare [and] to make seniors pay more for less while we give tax breaks to big oil. That’s not a formula that I think works for the middle class.”

But it seems that the rise of those who would take away our true liberty in the name of social help programs has finally reached a tipping point. The media, big industry, big banking, a dumbed down educational system, and big government are all circling like sharks around the final school of healthy fish to take what little is left.

On the other side of the isle (yes the republicans), they want to legislate morality. The people in the US have no clue what it means to have personal sovereignty anymore. They don’t even realize they have lost it. And I doubt they could handle it if they got it back.

You are delusional. The Republicans do not have enough power to do any of the things you said, yet. Unemployment has been up at 9% + for over 2 years. Medicare and Medicade are broke and need to be phased out. They are not a function of the Federal Government. The deficit is nearly all Obama’s spending spree. When he took office the national debt was around 9 Trillion and is not over 14 Trillion. (Yes, Bush did a lot of spending but Obama is the all time spender & chief).
A Trillion. If you started to count at your birth, and could count 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and could count 10 numbers a second, you could not count to a trillion in your lifetime. Get this into your head, Obama is NOT good for a free country, but if you want to live under a dictatorship, Marxism or communism, then he is YOUR man.
Most of us conservatives do not care the color, sex or race of the President. Why did you have to refer to his color?
BTW, November is a noun and needs to be capitalized.
