Napolitano Defends Clapper’s Ignorance of UK Terror Arrests

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says people should “be fair” to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper after he revealed in an interview last week that he was unaware of a string of terror arrests that happened in Britain hours prior.
Clapper had been working on Capitol Hill on issues involving START and North Korea and went into the interview before his briefer had a chance to relay the information, Napolitano told CNN Sunday.
Asked if the revelation that Clapper wasn’t in the loop was disconcerting, Napolitano said all Homeland Security officials that needed to know were informed.
When CNN host Candy Crowley said the lack of awareness might leave Americans “a little disconcerted,” Napolitano insisted there was no problem beyond the PR screwup.
“I knew. John Brennan knew. We also knew there was no connect that had been perceived to anything going on in the homeland and that we were in perfect connectivity with our colleagues in Britain,” she said. “So one of the things I think that should be very clear to the American people is that those of us in Homeland Security who needed to know, we knew.”

Posted on December 27, 2010 at 3:44amAnything further that Napolitano pronounces must be considered irrelevant as it relates to substantive protection of our country. Her words and actions need only to be scrutinized for clues to the administration’s skewed agendas. This is the sum total of her value to the citizens of the United States. She is only a character in the Federal Government’s theater.

Here’s another video about the Muslim Brotherhood, the stealth Sharia and Jihad shadow organization behind CAIR:

If you want to become informed about stealth Sharia and stealthJihad in America and it’s 35 terrorist camps on our soil please join us at the ADL (American Defense League) today. We aim to do something about it and to demand that the dhimmis in our government, whose CIC says we can absorb another terrorist attack and that we should accept this Hamas-linked Imam Rauf’s request to build a victory mosque near Gound Zero where they mass-murdered 3000 Americans, act now to protect us! Here’s the link:
http://www.facebook.com/AmericanDefenceLeague
The ADL is just one of many Defense Leagues that have popped up all over the world, starting with the EDL (English Defence League) in England, where we the people intend to do something about Islamofascism which is turning our countries into armed camps and eating away at our freedoms bit by bit, drip by drip. We think 270 million non-Muslims killed under the sword of Islamofascism since the advent of Islam 1400 years ago is enough! What about you?

Posted on December 27, 2010 at 2:37amWell, well. As a professional investigator and interrogator, it is VERY obvious to me Napolitano is lying. Not only didn’t Clapper know anything about the arrests in Britain, neither did she. This is truly a pathetic lot – and the most frightening thing is these fools are IN CHARGE of Homeland Security – and Napolitano is nothing more than a POLITICAL HACK appointed by Obama to reward her for her support during the election. She was a mindless piece of dog doodie before her appointment and remains so now. I only pray our folks in the field can continue to protect us in spite of her VAST deficiencies and total lack of experience and leadership.

Posted on December 27, 2010 at 1:58amIt gives me little comfort to know that John Brennan knew. Don’t make me laugh out loud. This is the same guy who referred to Jerusalem as al Quds! He’s probably rooting for the Islamofascists who want to blow up everything.
And, Napolitano? Well, she’s another laughing stock! She thinks the border is secure and they’re chopping up people down there. I just looked at a photograph where there were only trunks left of the bodies and bloodied heads strewn all over the ground. This woman needs to step down asap. She’s a disgrace to all America, and she doesn’t have our interests in mind.
How many gaffs do these people have to make before we get serious about demanding that they step down?
Where are the Republicans in Congress who are demanding accountability from these dhimmis who are condoning a Hamas-linked CAIR organization to determine who’s teaching our kids in the schools and colleges in America and using our taxpayer monies to send their Hamas-linked Imams over to the Middle East to raise funds for their victory mosque near Ground Zero after killing 3000 people there, not to mention allowing them to raise money for Hamas in a mosque in Florida?
Who the heck do these people take us for? They think they can take our taxpayer money and give us a few scraps and expect us to sit back while their CIC says that we can absorb another terrorist attack!
Vote the dhimmis out! And, then do it all over again, every year! Until they’re cleansed of their dhimmitude and we can get to work fighting this war that the Islamofascists have waged against us. We are not going to bow down to Mecca and kneel on their bloodied mats like they would have us do! And, we’re NOT GOING TO ACCEPT ANOTHER TERRORIST ATTACK ON AMERICA!
Got it? Dhimmis!

Posted on December 27, 2010 at 1:10amIt’s a simple fact that the Director of National Intelligence is unintelligent along with Big Sis and Brennan. And….there are so many government people in these departments now that they can’t keep up with them to know who to brief and it would take a month to brief them all if they did. I think everyone should be FORCED to take care of THEMSELVES and fire all of these MORONS!

Posted on December 27, 2010 at 12:27amTHIS… is the principal reason, you don’t appoint political hacks to security positions.
She is trying to solve the only problem she sees and is capable of solving, the political fallout. The REAL problem, how is it that the MAIN function we’re paying for and expect to be carried out with the utmost confidence and professionalism (because it is life and death… HELLO!??!?!) was not only missed proving we’re all in less than competent hands, but apparently is not even being covered in briefings or the briefing aren’t taking place for those making the decisions?
Methinks that there is a real good chance… that the decisions being made are 100% politically orientated, and so the briefings aren’t really needed in their eyes!

Posted on December 27, 2010 at 12:25amVery disturbing! Watched the video twice. He bobbled the question not once but twice! Even Sawyer was taken aback by this display. A ‘deer in the headlight’ moment would be putting it lightly!! Brennan put a good spin on it and somewhat salvaged the situation. He has a hearing aid and at first I thought he may have missed the question but he looked just as baffled the second time. Most people in his position would be better ‘on their feet’ bs-ing their way through unknown territory. He maybe the proverbial ‘fish out of water’ character. Where do they find these people and what is he paid?!!!!

Posted on December 27, 2010 at 12:15amSo DHS knew that the arrests had taken place. But Chief of National Intelligence did not. Clapper advises the President. Napolitano oversees pat-downs and body scans, border security, passes for illegals and disaster response. Seems like the disconnect in the Obama Administration wasn’t important to DHS. It was important to us “ordinary citizens”. Makes us wonder just how much information falls between the cracks.
