Napolitano on Muslim Women Pat-Downs: ‘More to Come’

From CNSNews.com:

When asked today if she will insist that Muslim women wearing hijabs must go through full body pat downs before boarding planes, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano did not say yes or no, but told CNSNews.com there will be “adjustments” and “more to come” on the issue.

    I have to take off my jacket when I go through these detectors like everyone else. How come these muslims don‘t have to take off their ’effin hijabs?

    Screw the TSA and Napolitano! I’m going to do everything in my power to avoid ever buying a plane ticket again, even if I have to drive for a few days. At least in my own vehicle I can stay armed and prepared. Let the airlines go out of business–I could care less.

      I already preferred to drive rather than fly because I didn’t want to be told how much shower gel, shampoo, conditoner, etc. I could bring when I traveled. When I drive I get a window seat every time, don‘t have to sit next to a stranger who’s spilling over into my space, can bring as large a suitcase as I want and don’t have to be exposed to all those people in that confined space. This “physical” you now have to go through has made me want to drive my own car or rent one if I have to to get where I need to go. I DO feel bad for the TSA personnel. I‘m sure they’re not happy having to do something to the passengers that the passengers resent. Must be uncomfortable for everyone. The a-holes who tried to bring bombs on the plane in their SHOES, UNDERWEAR and LUGGAGE have made air travel less dignified for the rest of us. All those hours you’ll never get back getting to the airport early, everyone getting patted down, heaven forbid some idiot causes a security breach and everyone has to get screened again. Too bad that Christmas Day bomber didn’t sustain a MORE SERIOUS injury. Maybe they should have let Mr. Pants-On-Fire burn just a little longer. Another goon like Nidal Hassan who never thought they’d end up being INJURED. Their plan was to die, taking out innocent people with them. I plan to drive, thank you, and see the country up close, even if it means having to endure all those hokey South of the Border signs through North Carolina / South Carolina (depending on which way you’re heading on I-95)!

      I only hope that if enough people get fed up with flying and the airlines lose money, that Obama won’t BAIL THEM OUT too!

    Please tell me Ms. Napolitano that you are not truely that stupid. There 2 points to CAIR objecting to this. First point; the fact that they have no respect for us and our laws so they automatically bring objections so they can prove in their countries that they brought the infidel down. Second point is that now only women will be the ones that will go to their death for Allah because they are the only ones that can get past security. I figure all those women that they were going to stone anyway can now be the plane bomber martyers.

      We also have to look at the big picture. Just as they did with all the regulations with drilling they made it impossible to do it safely. The put a huge burden on the drilling and oil companies, that was the reason behind the BP problem. Now we have NO new oil drilling in the gulf. They are going to make it difficult for the Air Lines to make money to the point they need a bailout and they will end up owned by the government.

I bet once the airlines started seeing red ink, they would start putting pressure on the regime; though it probably wouldn’t do any good, and then would require us to bail out the airlines, as they are likely considered too big to fail as well.

      it’s time for biometric ID cards in ALL U.S. Airports…. it will put an end to this!
      There will be no way around an iris and a finger print scan the terrorists are going to have to get pretty creative to get around that. Give everybody two years to get one …along with a passport after that time they can get the pat downs and full body scans if not in compliance…

      Wanna bet? You WILL comply! And what’s worse is that our politicians (both sides) will not do one thing about it. Muslim women will be able to hide whatever they want to, and do whatever they want to and nobody will do ‘jack’ about it. So you might as well get used to it. GEEEZ, listening to you, you would think you have rights or something. FORGET IT, YOU HAVE NOTHING.

      did you see the picture on Drudge where the nun was getting a PatDown by a TSA employee wearing her TSA uniform and abaiya = Disgusting. Napolitano is already talking about accommodating special people (Arabs in Thobes and Abaiyas. BTW, if you haven’t read the 12th Imam, you really should.

      We really need to stand up against this. No one has the right to “feel up” or see you naked if you don’t want them to. Of course their will be, once again, this double stanard. Some people will be able to go through the gates without having to go through this new mandate. Ironically these are the very people that we are concerned about. This is where we really need to speak out. I‘m not flying because I don’t want to expose myself to the radiation or the embarrasment. I wonder how much money we are spending on this invasion of our personal and private property? I bet the company who recieved that contract is set for life.This government is so way over the line. This is not about our “safety” this is about control of the masses.

      This was exactly my point when I first heard about the pat downs….just wait until they quasi-molest a muslim woman. Like Christians, Jews, athiests and others don’t have moral codes of their own. You don’t have to be religious to not want to be felt up at the airport

      anonimouse…I’m with you. I may put my boys in Burka’s and tell them to be quiet. I’m so tired of the double standards. My 11 year old just told me, upon me commenting on it, “that doesn’t make sense because most if not all terrorists who have used the airline system for terror have been Muslims.” He’s a very smart kid.

      pat-downs is motivated by the same group that insists on Gays in the Military? IF we can force everybody who flies to submit like cattle in the slaughter chute-and to silently submit to gays in the
      Military what a Disneyland world this would be.
