1. Why did Obama order the strikes while on vacation?
2. Isn‘t it somewhat ’cowardly’ to have done so like Bush refusing to returning to Washington on 9/11?
3. Was Congress consulted?
4. Was Congress even informed in advance?
5. Where is Congressional approval?
6. Why are children being targeted?
7. How much will this cost?
8. How long will it last?
9. What’s the exit strategy?
10. How many ‘new’ terrorists will be created?
11. What happens after the shooting stops?
12. Will Ghaddafi be asked to step down?
13. Who are these rebels and what is their creed?
14. Is al-Quaeda involved at all in Libya?

Posted on March 20, 2011 at 8:09amThe Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) has been a mainstay of establishing air power for decades. This is done by surgically eliminating the opponent’s anti-aircraft defenses and destroying their military aircraft and infrastructure – including radars and airstrips. It is the same action that President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld carried out so successfully in the first days of Iraq, when we had air control in 6 days.

Posted on March 20, 2011 at 3:32amIn the military aspect. You first have to jam the radar…then as they try to overcome the radar, you pinpoint their radar transmissions. After you have that you send in the Weasels to kill the radar sites. After you kill the radar transmissions, every time they go active, here comes a HARM missile to light up your life. If you have any anti-air left, it is simply a line-of-site. After that, it is easy to hit anything that goes airborne.

Posted on March 20, 2011 at 6:17am1) If I remember my Desert shield/storm history…was it not covert ground trrops lasing the targets for the ships to accurately hit them and insure the fewest amount of “friendly” casualties as possible?
2) Price of one cruise missle?
3) Odds that after the “rebels” take over, they’ll be even more Muslim Extremists who hate the west and want a jihad?
4) Odds we’ll add another trillion to the debt between the actual costs to replace munitions…AND…the “Ok extremist rebels, now that we paid through the nose to free you so you can plot and pray for our demise, we’ll pay through the butt to rebuild for you all the stuff we blew up…and provide a few McDonalds, Baskin-Robbins and Hooters for your entertainment.”
5) 6-12 months down the road…in an interview with Oprah in an undisclosed underground bunker “Mr, President, in the aftermath of the 6 dirty bombs smuggled into the US through Mexico, exploded in key areas of the country by the very people we sought to help, is it fair to say we should have secured our own borders first, drilled for our own oil second, and lastly…kept our nose out of the affairs of a bunch of goat-flockers who hate and despise us anyway?” …”Hmmm, one second Whoopee…Biden & Michelle haven’t finished hooking up my teleprompter.”
If you remember your history, the only hope for the Confederates in the end, was for another nation to recognize them as a soveriegn nation, separate and apart from the “USA”…their only real chance of this was with France. But, since France was now buying most of its cotton from India, the CSA had no leverage to achieve this.
But…what would we have done if another country HAD recognized the CSA and their right to secede and be their own country? What would we have done if India had no cotton, and the French government sent warships and massive numbers of soldiers to support the CSA?
We should keep our noses out of this. It is not our country. They are doing the right thing by fighting to free their OWN country. If the damn mexicans would do the same instead of running across the border as fast as they possibly can, Mexico would be a paradise…other than all those druglords/dealers/soldiers hanging from every lightpost.

We should have taken Quadiffi out then now 23 years later its too late. The only reason Brittain and France went in is Libya is where they get there oil from. 3. When Qaddafi’s SAM and other anti-aircraft sites are being targeted, how does anyone know which ones are still controlled by Qaddafi and which are in rebel hands?
4. Will Qaddafi or his replacement do as the mayor of Baghdad did and send us a bill to rebuild areas of Tripoli damaged by the bombs and missiles? (Agree with Trump who said that we can no longer be the free police officers for the world. The new policy, according to him, should be to let the requestors know that the US will not be paying the bill).
5. Since the UN authorized it, let’s send the bill for all this to Ban Ki-Moon. When they reject it, stop paying the dues to the UN which really should stand for Useless Nitwits.
6. Has anyone in this administration or previous ones looked at the UN’s record for intervention or peacekeeping in the world: Haiti, Kosovo, Rwanda, Somalia…..? That does not sound like a track record of success!
7. Will Dreamworks Harry stand in the well of the Senate on Monday and proclaim, “The war is lost?” Will Sen. Flip-Flop Warhawking Peacenik Kerry stand beside him?

I wouldn’t trust America as far as I can throw it. I love it with all my heart. But those running it, do so for their own enrichment and from a deepseated corruption. I’ll live within its borders, obey the laws of the constitution, take advantage of whatever I can, give back what I can…all while preparing to defend what I have against the day the corruption finally explodes into open revolution.
Our current America is not what it started out as…not what it should be or was meant to be. Today we are greedy, selfish manipulators of other countries/governments/religions/currency/resources. We are soft/bloated/crybabies who cannot take care of our own basic needs…willing to hide under our beds praying the bad man goes away…rather than fighting tooth and nail and shedding our blood for what is right.
Not all of America is like that…but as our population and wealth grew, our youth fell into complacency…became a “gimmee, gimmee” society. The majority is now one that only fights for more entitlements…in order that they can do less and less to provide for themselves…wanting only the latest cool gizmo, clothes or car. Their parents are music videos, their god has a guitar, their heroes are foul mouthed, trashy celebrities…and the only ones they look up to as role models are those that spit in the face of every thing this country once stood for.
Can we trust our military to know how to run and win a war? Oh hell yes. But this is not a war. It is another Vietnam, Iraq, Afganistan…it is another police action where we are not wanted and were not asked for. We are TRYING to find the bad guys, TRYING to kill the bad guys…all while making sure no innocents get so much as a splinter. You want WAR? You go in and destroy everything…kill everyone until they cry uncle and beg for peace. That is war. That is what makes WAR horrible and something any reasonable civilization should hope and prey against. That is what our warriors know how to do. It is not standing at street corners or roadblocks, handing out candy bars, while guessing who has a bomb under their clothes, holding off firing until every non-combatant is 1 mile away…all the while having a giant target on your back…ready to climb in a body bag for the good ol’ USA as long as you passed out your quota of cheese/crackers/bottled water to people who’d gut you the second your back is turned…all in the name of their false god.
“Trust America?” Hell no…all we have left these days is to do our best to fence this vicious, corrupted beast in as much as possible so we can live our lives as best as possible before the end comes.
Take Vietnam…this great cause we thrust ourselves in to. The Vietnamese lost approx. 600,000 people…the US lost 60,000…and screamed day an night about the loss of our young fighters. Yet when you compare the loss of “their” fighters as a percentage of “their” population, you’ll find that to match their loss with our own…we’d have had to lose 10 MILLION…yet we ran with our tails between our legs because of our staggering losses.
These are civil wars in the middle east and we do NOT belong there interferring with how they play out. We should protect Israel and let the others sort out their own affairs. If they become democracies…GREAT! If they become Muslim extremists, well…that is THEIR right and decision.

Posted on March 20, 2011 at 10:56amOur foreign and domestic “enemies” are created/orchestrated……by the CFR / IMF.
PLEASE READ:
http://www.veteranstoday.com/2010/12/15/jb-campbell-our-domestic-enemies/
The CFR is in fact the Club of Death, a private ministry of war. All wars and revolutions since World War I and the Bolshevik bloodbath were planned within those walls at the corner of Park Avenue and 68th Street in Manhattan. That would include the Second World War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the War against Islam, plus many other lesser known slaughterhouses, such as the terror war in Rhodesia. The Chinese bloodbath of 1949 was the biggest of them all, which created the perfect slave-labor gulag for American corporations chaired by CFRs. A year before that, the CFR put some crazy Russian Jews in power in Palestine. All of these disasters came from the CFR. The wars were designed to destroy resistance to them, the world conquerors, and to steal our wealth.

Posted on March 20, 2011 at 11:19amSEE, IF GADAFI HAD KEPT HIS NUCLEAR STUFF AND DEVELOPED HIS NUCLEAR WEAPONS THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.
Obama would never have dared to do this to North Korea or Iran. What deal did Libya make with Bush for turning over all their nuclear equipment and materiel? Was is a “no attack pledge?”

Posted on March 21, 2011 at 8:13am@Cheezwiz. Tomahawk missiles take out radars that are tied to SAMS (surface to air missiles). The first step in establishing air superiority over and area is to take out any threat to coalition aircraft. Synergistic use of airpower will also dictate targeting other CG (center of gravity) targets such control nodes for C2 (command and communications).

Posted on March 21, 2011 at 9:14amI’m sorry, when did our commander in chief start taking orders from the UN?
I don’t care what they sanctioned, We, the People, haven’t sanctioned it.
He doesn’t have congressional approval. Only congress can declare war and playing semantics by calling this “humanitarian intervention” doesn’t make it NOT war.
Libya didn’t attack us.
And this is treason.
Impeach and Prosecute Obama, then find Bush and Cheney and indict them for the same thing!
They set the precedent!
