NBA Stars Sign on for First-Ever ‘Obama Classic’ 2012 Basketball Fundraiser

Want to see some professional basketball? While the National Basketball Association lockout continues to whittle down the regular season, NBA stars will be shooting hoops next month to raise cash for President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign.
The “First-Ever Obama Classic Basketball Game” will be played Dec. 12 in Washington, D.C. and feature a whole host of NBA players. All proceeds will benefit the Obama Victory Fund, a joint account held by the Democratic Party and the president’s re-election campaign.
“Athletes who support President Obama…will play actual games at the event in Washington,” Michael Blake, deputy director of the Obama campaign’s “Operation Vote,” said in an email to prospective donors, Politico reported.
According to the president’s re-election website, more than 30 NBA names are slated to attend, including Boston Celtics’ guard Ray Allen, New York Knicks’ forward Carmelo Anthony and Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh.
It is not yet known whether Obama himself will attend.
Ticket prices range from $100 for a limited number of “Gen44” seats for younger supporters, to $5,000 to sit courtside.
Obama is an avid basketball fan, last weekend watching a college hoops game aboard an aircraft carrier docked in California.

According to CNN, former professional players attended an Obama fundraiser in Orlando earlier this fall. At that event, Obama reportedly told the crowd, “I don’t miss my shots in the fourth quarter.”

Republicans and Conservatives, need to give up their NBA season tickets, get a refund and donate the money to any republican. Why didn‘t they hold it in obama’s name to donate to the poor people he said he is trying to help? Why aren’t they going to donate the money to section 8 housing so more people can get a home to live in… or local food pantries… so the hungry can be fed…. women‘s clinics so more can get women’s health care they are always complaining about? How about helping out the people you are suppose to be helping, instead of helping yourself obama? Everyone is suppose to help poor old obama and he doesn’t help anyone. Show your support by boycotting the NBA teams and individuals participating in this monstrosity. A lot of local NBA players and a few of the “regular local suck ups” attended
but the best part was the other half of Morgan and Morgan “the wife” refused to even attend and it was held at her house!
She refused to be in the same room “in her own house” with Obama…
and then you have some people like her spouse who will do “anything” to get their mug on TV…
Just like these NBA suck ups .. wth… they have nothing better to do and nothing to lose.
What do they care that we have a 9% unemployment rate and wth do they care that 14 million Americans are still unemployed or that 1 in 7 are on food stamps…

Now that these stupid NBA players are coming out for the most socialist president this country has ever had, I will never ever waste a penny of my money or a second of my time on any NBA game. This is a stupid move on the NBA’s part to allow these empty headed NBA players to politicize the game. I know that there are a lot of basketball fans out there that will be turned off as I am by what these over payed and over rated players are doing. Some might say that it’s a free country and they have the right to raise money for whomever they want, and I say, I too have the right not to buy any ticket or product of any sport I don’t agree with. Good luck NBA..you have just lost a big chunk of change by allowing your players to politicize your sport.

Obama’s birth certificate contains many anomalies justifying further investigation by law enforcement, as does his social security number. Both are alleged to be fraudulent by numerous experts. However even if the alleged fraud had gone unnoticed and it’s assumed he was born in HI, Obama is still not Constitutionally eligible.
Article 2, Section 1, requires the President to be a natural born citizen. This involves two equally important prerequisites. The first is being born in the USA or sovereign US jurisdiction. The second is being born to US citizen parents (plural). Both prerequisites must be satisfied. Obama absolutely failed to meet one prerequisite at birth and maybe both. He does not have TWO US citizen parents! Therefore he is not eligible.[1]
Patriots love the truth! Others … not so much.

Not the Constitution, not any law or act of Congress, and definitely not the Supreme Court! When they finally ruled on the issue back in 1898, they said just the opposite – it doesn’t matter who your parents are as long as you‘re born here. You have never been able to demonstrate that you or any of the crackpots you reprint on your website have any source for this odd delusion other than their deliberate misinterpretation of an irrelevant Supreme Court decision that both predates the 1898 ruling, and specifically says that it is not setting a precedent or establishing a complete and exclusive definition of natural born citizenship.

Proving there is a difference between a natural born citizen and a citizen, beyond excluding naturalized citizenship, proves Obama is an ineligible usurper!

I want people to examine the Constitution, that’s the only way they will know that nothing in it supports your claims about what it means. You should get a motto of your own, like “The Constitution, I’ll tell you what it should say.”
The “1790 1st Congress law” that you refer to was the NATURALIZATION Act. A more literate reader would have been able to figure out from the title alone that it had absolutely jack squat to do with the definition of natural born citizenship or the status of people born IN this country.

First it wastes a lot of space establishing that there must logically be some difference between a citizen and a natural born citizen, even though nobody ever said there wasn’t. Proving this, which nobody ever denied, is not the same as proving that there is any difference other than the exclusion of naturalized citizens born in other countries. Then there’s a lot of irrelevant gobbledygook about the Naturalization Act. The one thing I don’t see is any law or court decision establishing that anyone born in this country is not a natural born citizen. You have never been able to cite any such authority for this weird belief, and you never will, because there is none.

I took another look at your arguments on that previous thread, but I’m at a loss to find the part where you factually refute anything I said.
