NBC’s Mitchell to Obama Camp: Isn‘t Sarah Palin Bus Tour ’Best Political News’ for Re-election?

As if it wasn’t already obvious that NBC and MSNBC has it out for Sarah Palin and have completely bought into the caricature that she is a political buffoon, NBC’s Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell proved it this morning on MSNBC.

While interviewing Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, Mitchell brought up Sarah Palin’s recently announced national bus tour that some say is a precursor to a presidential run. Then she asked, “Is this the best political news the Obama re-election campaign has ever had?”

Seriously. Watch it below via Townhall:

In a longer version of the clip, “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski set up Mitchell‘s question minutes earlier by joking that Jarrett has most likely already contributed to Palin’s political action committee:

Everyone I know and heard said they voted for McCain only bc of Palin. Palin was the one responsible for almost beating Obama.

The Liberals can chalk up being sexist on their side now. They are obviously racist because of what they say about Herman Cain. They are so afraid of Palin running they now have to conjure up their false bravado. Obama doesn’t stand a chance against a real conservative and the liberals all know it.

Hey Goose……go back to your moderate friends. I think we should turn this country upside down and vote for someone who actually BELIEVES IN GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, the creator of the universe, the creator of life, and the ultimate JUDGE of you, me, and all of us! She is willing to back that up, but you hate the fact that she will tell you the truth and it makes your squirm because you do NOT want to do the right thing. You want to keep your soft and cushy life, with all your freebies and all your government perks. What a bunch of unintelligent moderates. If you do not stand behind these conservatives who are truthful and follow the Bible, this country IS DOOMED. Anyone else will continue to lead us into a global world and we will eventually destroy the Constitution and there will be a ONE-WORLD PRESIDENT, the anti-Christ. THINK. It is clear most of you aren’t. Your pride stands before your reasoning. WE NEED TO GET RID OF OBAMA and if it means voting for Palin, THEN THAT IS WHAT WE NEED TO DO! If it seems I’m ragging on Palin, it‘s only because I’d rather have an opponent who can WIN. You want Obama out? Then get someone who could actually unite the country instead of dividing it like Palin.

Rush was talking about this much today – about how much the media has attacked her & would it affect votes for her? One thing he pointed out was that there is no one out there that they perceive as a threat that won’t be attacked unmercifully, doesn‘t matter whether it’s true or not you know. They’ll ALL be ravaged and is to be expected. Be prepared for Rick Perry (TX) who might be running and he’s a good one too. For me, as a Christian – I don’t worry about it — I trust God to put in whoever He wants – & will be elected no matter what is against them. I would like Palin but if that’s not to be, I’ll take Perry – whoever will take this country back effectively and quickly.

You hit the nail on the head. The American electorate looks for certain types of experience in presidential tickets. Senatorial experience is not one of them, so Obama, Biden, and McCain were all zeros. Experience as governor is a strong positive so Palin brought something to that ticket. The reason her ticket lost is that her electablility was not enough to overcome McCain’s big negative. That being his divorce.

      No , not true.

Before Palin’s selection, remember, McCain suffered from an enthusiasm gap. Republicans were reluctant to vote for the senator from Arizona because of his reputation as a maverick who’d countered his party on taxes, immigration, drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and “cap and trade” climate legislation. But Palin’s conservative record in Alaska and antiabortion advocacy changed the Republican mood. With her by his side, McCain’s fundraising and support from conservatives improved. It wasn’t enough to beat Barack Obama — but McCain probably would have lost the presidency by a greater margin if he had, say, selected independent Sen. Joe Lieberman as his running mate, further alienating the GOP base.

On Sept. 2nd. And it fell to 68% by September 22nd.
      http://alaskareport.com/news98/x61643_approval_rating.htm

Palin is great at getting her base passionate, and that’s great. The problem is… only her base gets fired up. Independents back away from her for the same reason – because her base comes off as crazy. Dems, well, they’d hate her no matter what.

If Palin won the primary (assuming she even runs), we’ll be looking for 2016 to get a GOP win. She’s charismatic and popular with her base, but divisive nationally, and she quit her last elected job. I personally think this is just the next Donald Trump story, as like Trump she’s just been running the reality TV circuit recently and could use some nation-wide exposure to boost ratings.

The new data also shows significant increases in the number who say McCain made the right choice and the number who say Palin is ready to be President. Generally, John McCain‘s choice of Palin earns slightly better reviews than Barack Obama’s choice of Joe Biden.

Perhaps most stunning is the fact that Palin’s favorable ratings are now a point higher than either man at the top of the Presidential tickets this year. As of Friday morning, Obama and McCain are each viewed favorably by 57% of voters. Biden is viewed favorably by 48%.

And Ramussen reported in October that her approval rating dropped from 68 to 63%. By the end of her term in 2009, it was 54-56%. (Still a good rating up until she quit early, but nowhere near the high 80s she started with).

I look at facts and make my own opinions, thanks. Polls rely on math, and math can be manipulated… but only if you don’t look into the data. When even Rasmussen, often the most conservative pollster, shows drops in approval… the facts don’t lie. Look at the divisions within this board even. Both sides are saying “Run Palin, run!” The right says it because they love Palin; the left says it because they know more people hate her than love her nationally.

If we want the GOP to lose 2012, we’ll put Palin through the primaries. Me, I’d rather have a candidate who can win; someone to unite rather than divide the country. We need less Obamas and Palins.

What is it with this visceral hatred from the left? How do they justify their hatred? Haters will hate. They are also very vocal with this hatred, and love to attack the person instead of the idea. What has happened to these people that they have become so violent in both speech and actions?

I think most people that were skeptical of Palin are coming around to the fact she’s no more stupid than Obama intellectually, and she’s lost more common sense than the Marxist ever had. Whatever there reasons are. My cousin for instance, who is not as much into politics as her husband, but trusts her husbands advise when it comes to elections said about a year ago when we were all hanging out just talking, said she would refuse to vote for Palin no matter what. Maybe a kind of jealousy thing to a certain extent. She is a conservative, and does have conservative values, but she is not into politics, so she relies on her husband to keep her informed, and I think maybe a husband promoting a hot chick is a turn off….i dunno…lol….but as petty as it sounds i bet that would be the case in many households……

If you truly fear for America and want to rid it of the radicals/socialists that have co-opted the White House, you should vote for anyone…and I mean ANYONE who opposes Obama in 2012. Now is not the time to act like spoiled sports if your personal favorite does not get on the ticket. We need to pull together and act for the common good.

The very future of our country is at stake and the first order of business is to evict socialism in the govt from the top down. Dethrone the Anointed One and put a conservative in office who will begin to repair the damage already inflicted upon our nation. I truly believe there is not one candidate in the conservative camp who is as dangerous to our country as the man sitting in the White House. The most crucial thing is to come together and vote him out of office. We need to put aside our differences and join forces to save America. The Founding Fathers had to compromise on many things in order to forge this most perfect union.

yippyio: I’d heard that Valerie Jarret was but never verified it. She is a big player in the administration and she is a Marxist so I woudn’t be surprised.

Mitchell is married to the former Fed President Alan Greenspan and we know what you have to be in order to run the Federal Reserve right? lol Unfortunately America does not know yet.

yippyio: Wow that was easy. She’s proud of it and openly admits it. I should have known.. Obama is the only Muslim President ever surrounded entirely by Jews? lol

It really tickles me to hear all of these Neanderthals constantly repeating that Obama is a Muslim.. Like our Jewish Apartheid would have chose Obama if he was a Muslim? Do you think they are stupid or what? Obama is their perfect candidate. He can pass all of their Marxist policies and he can bomb the hell out of Iran without many on the left making too big of a fuss about it.. think about it.

I assure you Iran is much more afraid of Obama than they were GWB.

Jarrett‘s just another red diaper baby commie working to ’fundamentally transform the United States of America’ along with her boss Obama and his boss Soros. The first lie she told, in this clip, was that the president had a great trip and fun in Britain. Let’s see now…car gets stuck…signs the wrong year in guest book…screws up the speech…really screws up the toast ( I personally think the Brits set him up for this one. It looked to me like Prince Philip was nearly cracking up), that stupid Irish accent thing, and finally: HAVING FUN IN EUROPE WHILE AMERICANS HAD THEIR HOMES, THEIR TOWNS, THEIR LOVED ONES, AND THEIR LIVES RIPPED TO PIECES.

PROBABLY the WORST WOMAN in AMERICA today: VALARIE JARRETT (more than any other woman in this MARXIST’S Life…this one is the worst)… OF course she also thought they’d get the Olympics Games so we heard she bought up a whole lot of DT Chicago planning to cash in big time. And Andrea Mitchell??? We wrote her off a long time ago as being a LIBERALLY BLINDED SMART ALEC.
KEEP it up girls…you only help SARAH. I could make comments about your combined looks vs. one Mrs. Palin…but I won’t …it’s too obvious.

Yep, the left FEARS $ARAH! (maybe it’s all that “mama grizzly protecting her cubs” stuff…) She certainly fits the bill for those who said that they’d vote for “a ham sandwich” (ham with lotsa bread.) RUN, $ARAH, RUN!!

They can snicker and smile all they want but if / when Palin decides to run…. if Palin is in, she’s in to WIN, not like last time.

It doesn’t matter, who the nominee is, we MUST support that candidate. If you don’t like Palin and stay home then I hope you really love obama, because it’s up to you whether he has another 4 years of destruction….. IT’S UP TO YOU

Let’s be sure we can make that smug Andrea Mitchell eat every one of her words after the 2012 election. Did you notice that as soon as Jarrett said that the president would just keep on doing his job, Mitchell broke out in a smile and nodded her head…like an idiot. Are these leftists stupid enough to think ANYONE thinks Obama is doing a good jog right now…or ever for that matter. He had, like, 12 seconds of so-so when it was announced that Bin Laden had been killed on his watch. That’s it, folks. I don‘t know if I can get through 2 years of the media trying to convince all of us that it’s a forgone conclusion that Obama will be re-elected and rightly so. Saints preserve us!!

AKMIIKEUS–Yeah, we all saw that newsclip today on Fox. So what? So that particular spokesman for that particular group didn‘t invite Sarah Palin to speak and he didn’t want her coming and stealing their thunder. And, what was your point again? LIke she doesn‘t know that everyone isn’t in her camp? Wow, some revelation.

Come back when you have something cogent to report. We really want you to knock our socks off, k?
