NC Town Drops Giant Flea for New Year

Nothing says “Happy New Year” like a giant flea drop. Yes, a giant flea drop. That’s how the town of Eastover, NC celebrated the new year.
The local mayor made the three-foot, 30 lb flea by hand. Why drop a giant flea? Of course because the town once had a major flea infestation. It all makes sense now.
