Already have the Glock 23 Gen 4, but I prefer the SIG P226 even though they are so dang expensive. Also if that was an original Thompson submachine gun aka: Tommy Gun, then that boy wouldn’t have been able to lift the darn thing, they are heavy guns.

I WAS going to get the new Sig P938, for its size, weight, and cartridge, . . . but now that I see the Shield, I may go that way instead. The M&P line has been a robust line of pistols and I think I would be more likely to trust it over a P938.

Report Post »The Kel TECH KSG shot gun is a Bull Pup design, Unlike the traditional shot gun with the breach just in front of your nose the KEL-TECH design places the breech, just behind or at your cheek. It is a 14 and 1 shot gun with 2 3/4 rounds or 12 and 1 with 3 inch MAG. The breach and barrel are designed for Slugs so there shouldn’t be any issues other than the cost, Un like Banelli put a price tag on it for 2k, the Kel TECH KSG retails for 880, but can be purchased for less if you shop. Also with a total length of 26 in I would prefer this weapon system for CQB over a full length shot gun. Also with the Bull Pup design you get an 18.5 inch barrel. Just saying

It is possible that the UK just has out of control crime rates that are closer to the US than the rest of Europe. It is absolutely untrue that the UK is worse than South Africa, though. I think that is just Daily Mail sensationalism. I lived in Cape Town for a little under a year recently, and believe me, it is the most dangerous place I have ever visited in my entire life. As bad as the US and much worse. Everyone I worked with and also my friends had double security systems (one for the perimeter of the house and one for inside the home), dogs, etc.
I live in Western Euorpe now, and I can go for a walk in the evening alone without any fear. I see other women out alone in the evening without any fear as well. Same goes for hiking in the woods just outside the city on weekends. It is not like that in the US. i think we had 37 murders in our country of seven million last year. That is less than the city of Cincinnati alone.

No, America is not :). Literacy, health, education levels, crime rates, park space per person, historical preservation, test scores for math, science, history–all of those things average out better in Western Europe than in the US.
Also, Russian and China actually have higher crime rates than the US.
Yes, I do want to feel safe and secure–that is why we pay police officers, right? So that they ensure we are safe and secure? American police seem to care more about harrassing pot smokers and pepper spraying college kids than actually guaranteeing safety from violence to its citizens. It‘s not freedom if you can’t go for a walk in your neighbourhood because you are likely to be mugged, raped or killed.
Heck, some American streets don’t even have sidewalks, so you couldn’t go for a walk even if it was safe there. I’ve never seen that in Europe. It doesn’t make sense.

Regardless, the issue in this country has nothing to do with the weapons in it. I has to do with the criminal element that doesn’t care about any of the laws they are breaking. Just like the “war on drugs”, if you ban civilian gun ownership, you will have an underground black market that will explode, . . . and will be unstoppable. At that time, you WILL see violent crimes rise when law abiding citizens are disarmed and easy prey to criminals.
No. The issues in this country will not be fixed by draconian measures, and I refuse to allow myself to be demonized, then controled by those who think “they are making a better society”. Utopia [especially in this country] isn’t going to happen. And there may very well come a time when things get even worse than they are.
As a final word: If there were no more guns, baseball bats, machetes, and hatchets would make for a ghastly way to die. . . . and make no mistake, if they want your stuff bad enough, they will use whatever they can to get it, with no thought to the maming or killing of you or your family.

There is just too many possibilities for them to cover and according to the Supreme Court, they are under no obligation to help protect citizens, even when those citizens have protection orders against specific violent people pursuing active threats. (See Castle Rock v. Gonzales)
Police are more for cleaning up and pursuing justice after the crime is already committed. Its nice when they get there while it is still in progress, but that scenario is not nearly as likely.

It depends on the individuals being careful but know when it is time for the death card to be punched, it is going to one way or the other. No more or no less. If you feel you are immune to what is going on in this world today. Take no chances, bu know it is not decent people who are robbing you or getting illegal guns. The ones doing the crimes are the ones who will have guns even if laws tell them they are inelligible for ownership. I am like everyone else who believes in self-defense. They will take my gun from my cold dead hand. I refuse to put myself in a position of taking a sling shot to a gun fight.

Most of Europe is more violent than the USA. The notable exception? Switzerland. Geneva had less than 20 violent crimes per 100,000 population. Why? Maybe the fact that every adult in the country owns and is versed in the use of a firearm. And everybody knows it.

You still parrot the same old line thinking that if you say it enough and post it enough in blogs ’round the world, that it will miraculously become the truth. The so called fact that you tried to pass off was a proven intentional deception to influence international policies within the UN. Remember that our 2nd Amendment here in the US is an truth that other world governments must discredit for they fear threats within their own countries should their citizens look across the pond at us and demand the same rights from their leaders. Citizen ownership of firearms is primarily a check and balance against a government that would go too far. Need I list all of the examples or are you still licking your wounds? It is you that needs to wake up and embrace the concept of a free citizen. If you cannot keep and bear arms in your country, you are a subject and not a citizen.
