‘Nervous?’: New Romney Ad Features Obama’s Jab at Fox Reporter

One day after President Barack Obama lashed out at Fox News correspondent Ed Henry during a press conference, saying “I didn’t know you were a spokesman for Mitt Romney,” the Romney presidential campaign released a new ad taunting the president back. Its title: “Nervous?”
The ad starts off asking the question, “What is the White House worried about?” It ticks off several possibilities: Jobs? The economy? Home foreclosures? Spending?
None of the above, according to the ad. Instead, it cuts to clips of Obama, top strategist David Axelrod, White House press secretary Jay Carney and former press secretary Robert Gibbs all saying Romney’s name. It finishes with Obama uttering the dig: “I didn’t know you were a spokesman for Mitt Romney:”
The Democratic National Committee quickly hit back with an ad of its own, titled “Temporary Little Band-Aids?” It blasts Romney‘s statement during the most recent Republican presidential debate in which he belittled Obama’s proposed extension of a payroll tax cuts.
The video claims the money families would save could buy four months of groceries, seven months of gas or an entire year of electric bills.
“$1,500 might be a Band-Aid to Mitt Romney, but to a middle class family, $1,500 goes a long way,” the narrator says. “Mitt Romney: Wrong for the middle class:”

Posted on October 14, 2011 at 5:34pmIf Obama goes against either Cain or Romney in a debate he will be wearing Depends… just in case. He can’t stand up to the intelligence and experience of these two great businessmen.
I am just sad that people like Rush Limbaugh are now attacking Romney after they supported him and praised his conservativism.. like he did in 2008. (americanparchment.com) There is a clip there of Rush flip flopping on the issue of Romney’s conservativism. Romney hasn’t changed anything since 2008, Rush just has to be independent from other Republicans. This week it has been lie after lie from Rush and Levin about Romney, not by there fault per sea but because they listened to an MSNBC hit piece on Romney that was disproven in March by the Boston Globe. No actual adviser of Romney’s went to talk to Obama on health care, maybe state consultants but no advisers.
A great duo would be Romney/Cain 2012. Or vise versa.

WAKE UP PEOPLE!!
Don’t get fooled again.
There IS A REASON WHY these campaigns get hundreds of millions of dollars dumped in them. It’s because the special interests will come knocking for their “returned favors” when their PUPPET gets in.
Romney, Perry, Cain, Ohmamma. They’re ALL THE SAME.
Look at how the establishment GOP tried to run someone AGAINST Rand Paul, and lost, because the WILL OF THE PEOPLE was overwhelming. Now Rand is the ONLY ONE in the Senate TRYING to cut SUBSTANTIAL amounts of spending, when the others are just tinkering around the edges.

I don’t like your comment at all.
Obama is just the puppet. It’s the IDEAS he espouses that I HATE. Your comment just makes me think of the opening scene in 1984, the movie. The auditorium is filled with people screaming mindless hatred towards Goldstein. Goldstein is just an image, something the Party uses to control people through their hatred.
What ideas do you stand for? I hear all of you talking about various candidates that espouse a complete mixture of old-school conservatism mixed with forms of SOCIALISM. The two do not work together. Socialism is the antithesis of individual freedom.
There is only one candidate to vote for. ONE! That is Ron Paul. He stands on principle — the principle of Individual Freedom — and for the 30 years he’s been in government he has stood by those principles through action. Get past the MSM, including FOX News and even The Blaze, and look into Paul.
Keeping with the movie theme, as Princess Leia says in Star Wars, “Help me, Ron Paul, you are our only hope.” (updated for context)

Poor job creation as Governor
http://hotair.com/archives/2011/09/06/about-that-romney-job-creation-record/
When Romney took office, there were 3,224,600 nonfarm seasonally adjusted jobs in Massachusetts. When he left office, there were 3,270,400, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (xls).
Report Post »That means under Romney’s economic policies Massachusetts saw a net gain of only 45,800 jobs; a growth rate of 1.42 percent. Other estimates vary. For example, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development estimates job growth of 51,400 over that period. But in another analysis by Moody’s Economy.com, the number was lower: only 24,400.
That placed Massachusetts 47th among all states in job creation from January 2003 to January 2007. Nonfarm seasonally adjusted jobs across the United States grew by 5.265 percent throughout the entire U.S. The Romney economy in Massachusetts significantly underperformed compared to other states in terms of job creation.

GOP Committing “RomneyCIDE”

Talk about giving a political party’s base the middle finger
Based on most verifiably valid opinion polls and reports, the organic, leaderless, grassroots citizen movement that ushered in epic political victories not seen in over eighty years, continues to grow ever more significant in terms of volunteers, political activism and public influence. Given all empirical evidence of the swelling, anti-establishment ranks fueled by impassioned civic involvement, the recalcitrant, tin-eared, GOP “leadership” has resolved themselves to ignore their base’s enthusiastic call for true conservatism. Instead, the GOP establishment is offering their base voters a northeastern, Harvard educated, former blue state Governor and quintessential mainstream media darling, Mitt Romney. MSNBC, Jimmy Carter and the New York Times immediately issued their approval.

Posted on October 14, 2011 at 4:59pmMitt Romney is a GOD
http://www.irr.org/mit/is-mormonism-christian.html
1 Is There More Than One True God?
The Bible teaches and orthodox Christians through the ages have believed that there is only one True and Living God and apart from Him there are no other Gods (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; 44:6,8; 45:21,22; 46:9; Mark 12:29-34)
By contrast, the Mormon Church teaches that there are many Gods (Book of Abraham 4:3ff), and that we can become gods and goddesses in the celestial kingdom (Doctrine and Covenants 132:19-20; Gospel Principles, p. 245; Achieving a Celestial Marriage, p. 130). It also teaches that those who achieve godhood will have spirit children who will worship and pray to them, just as we worship and pray to God the Father (Gospel Principles, p. 302)
2 Was God Once a Man Like Us?
The Bible teaches and orthodox Christians through the ages have believed that God is Spirit (John 4:24; 1 Timothy 6:15,16), He is not a man (Numbers 23:19; Hosea 11:9; Romans 1:22, 23), and has always (eternally) existed as God — all powerful, all knowing, and everywhere present (Psalm 90:2; 139:7-10; Isaiah 40:28; Luke 1:37)
By contrast, the Mormon Church teaches that God the Father was once a man like us who progressed to become a God and has a body of flesh and bone (Doctrine and Covenants 130:22; “God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!” from Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 345-347;

Why? Romneycare. I don’t want another “compassionate conservative” who spends like a liberal on social programs. I want someone like Gary Johnson with a proven record of cutting, limiting growth and reigning in legislators.
My top choice: Gary Johnson (only one with a PROVEN fiscal conservative record while in the execute role IMO)
Second tier: Ron Paul (foreign policy ideas scare me though), Cain (completely unproven but I like what he says… and not being a politician he might be telling the truth), Gingritch (though he’s been on the “wrong” side of certain issues in the past and has some skeletons in his closet – he’s a political genius)
Third tier: Perry, Bachman, Romney
Bottom tier: Hunstman, Santorum
I think Bachman would be a true conservative, but she‘s third tier because I don’t think she can win. She’s not doing well enough in the debates to go head to head with Obama and the media love to crucify conservative women.

Posted on October 14, 2011 at 4:49pmYou’re right KICKAGRANDMA….
Romney IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE….AT ALL!
And, YES….he THINKS LIKE OBAMA – and is SNEAKY!
There‘s something to Romney’s people meeting with Obama or his people.
Report Post »Something is going on behind the scene – either way, we should want NO PART OF IT.
Any Presidentical Candidate who connects or collaborates with Obama –
THERE‘S SOMETHING COOKING AND IT DOESN’T SMELL GOOD.

Posted on October 14, 2011 at 7:18pmWhen I think of Romney I think of a Scott Brown-type Repub….what was in 1960 a JFK Dem, but now called a RINO. McCain also fits the bill. But 9-9-9 is a NEW (I say NEW) tax. Bad Bad Bad. The last time this was tried it started at 7%? and within 18 months or so was up to 24%. I could absolutely support the real black candidate if it was 9-0-9, but not until then, as this is a HUGE tax if you do all the homework to study it.

Report Post »No the tax rates won’t go up because it will take 2/3 of the Senate to raise it, and that won’t happen. For some reason what most people seem to not understand is that you’re already paying on average a 20% imbedded tax on everything that you buy.
Business does not pay taxes, they either pass it on to you or they eliminate jobs. Remember the top corporate tax rate is 35% and that will be lowered to 9%. Now with the addtional revenue that business’s will have they will do two things.
First they will lower the price of their products in order to stay competitive. So that 9% sales tax you are so concerened with really won’t effect you at all.
Second they will use that additional revenue to expand and create jobs. Business’s will have more certainty. It eliminates the capital gains tax. Individuals and business will no longer be punished for investing. It will make America the most business friendly country in the world.
It also eliminates the payroll tax which means you will be bringing alot more money home with every paycheck.
Also Americans will be saving about 450 billion dollars a year. The amount of money we now pay to comply with the tax code. This plan is a win for everyone. So everyone needs to go and donate money to this man. He‘s the only candidate I’ve ever donated money to, because I believe that this plan could save America from economic ruin.
