New 9/11 Audio Tapes Detail Horror of the Attacks in Real TimePreviously unreleased audio files detailing the unfolding horror of the Sept. 11 attacks have been made available to the public.

This is the first time the complete communications recordings between military and civilian air traffic controllers as they were dealing with the hijackings have been released.

“We have a problem here. We have hijacked aircraft headed towards New York and we need you guys to, we need someone to scramble some F-16s or something up here to help us out,” a worker at a Boston control center says at 8:37 a.m., according to the recordings. No planes had struck any targets yet.

The official on the other end of the line asks if it is all a test.

“No, this is not an exercise, this is not a test,” the worker says.

The recordings show the confusion that ran rampant among air traffic controllers after the hijackers turned off their aircraft transponders, making it difficult for radar to track them.

In another excerpt, after the first plane had struck the North Tower World Trade Center, an official in a New York center sees a second plane.

“Hey, can you look out your window right now?… Can you see a guy at about 4,000 feet, about five East of the airport right now?… Do you see that guy — look — is he descending into the building also?” the official asks.

Seconds later, the plane explodes inside the South Tower of the World Trade Center.

Someone is heard saying: “Another one just hit the building. Wow. Another one just hit it hard. Another one just hit the World Trade.”

“The whole building just, ah, came apart,” someone says.

Someone utters: “Oh my God.”

The complete audio files and transcripts were published on the Rutgers Law Review website. The 9/11 Commission staff had started compiling the recordings into a single document but did not finish in time for it be released with the commission’s report. John Farmer, dean of Rutgers Law School, served as senior counsel to the 9/11 Commission and assisted a team of law school students in completing it. He previously published many of the transcripts in his 2009 book, “The Ground Truth.”

According to the New York Times, which first reported on the files, one tape remains unreleased: The recording from the last half hour in the cockpit of United Flight 93 that crashed in Shanksville, Pa. instead of its intended target in Washington, D.C. The families of the passengers who died on that flight have requested it not be made public.

    This gave the Iraqi oil-trade a 17% jump in profit.
    Other OPEC countries started looking at doing the same thing, this put the US Dollar (Federal Reserve Note) in jeopardy as the World Reserve currency.
    The Iraqi Oil-Trade was switched back to the US Petro-Dollar just one week after the Iraqi invassion.

    This is also the case with Libya and Gadhafi.

      With all due respect most people forget about the horrific event that transpired on March 16, 1988 by the Iraqi government that killed between 3-5,000 people… Correct me if I’m wrong but the gas used and add that to the number of people killed, doesn’t that count as a WMD? It may have been in 1988 but we know from history that Saddam at one point did indeed have WMD’s.       Natures_God – Before accusing someone of lying, you should investigate further. The soldiers, with boots on the ground, know that there were wmd’s in Iraq. They found evidence of them. The people that Saddam killed with wmd’s are proof that the existed. They were removed by a Russian convoy that we were not allowed to take out.       Do you know where many of the the fighter jets Iraq owned are now? There are sitting in Iran. How do you suppose they got there? They moved them, so we could not destroy or capture them.

      Do you know that Iraq used combination mustard gas and nerve agent in the Iraq Iran war?

      The rest were bury underground in the sand. The US Military dug them up.

      They claimed them to be 767, but what do u know. For starters, the air density at sea level is way to thick for anything but a fighter jet to go 570mph. Even 300mph is a stretch, any pilot can point this exaggerated line of BS out. The towers weighed 1 BILLION pounds apiece, that a ton of tower for each pound of plane. The floors were concrete not aluminum. That much fuel still has LESS potential energy than the truck bomb in 93′, yet less energy from the top brought the entire structure to ground level?? Come on give me a break, how stupid does a person have to be to believe such crap.
      That’s about as dumb a statement any brainwashed moron has made.

      You are a complete idiot. I AM any pilot. 300 mph is easily achieved by any airliner. ATC normally restricts air traffic to 250 knots below 10,000 ft altitude, that is 287.5 mph. Aircraft such as the 767 are perfectly capable of flying at 300 knots below 10,000 ft which is 345 mph. Do some research and get your s*** together before you spout off some ridiculous crap. Maybe actually consult ANY pilot!

      You have to THINK like the Mafia.

      It would not be that hard to pull off a ‘9/11′ with just a handfull, 150 or so (paid mercenaries, blackwater, etc.), people working for you. You have that 150 or so (who don’t know the whole plan) to hand out orders to smaller groups (who don’t know anything about anything) to do odd ‘jobs’ that add up to the whole picture.
      After the ‘Job’ is done, get rid of the 140 people or so. People die in wars and car accidents all the time, remember those ‘Private Security Contractors’ a.k.a. BlackWater agents that got killed, burned, and hung from a bridge in Iraq? Who‘s to say they weren’t in on the 9/11 plot?

      @ Silo The core box columns were physically wider, but the thickness of the steel was approximately 2 inches thick on each side at the base. The thickness tapered as the structure rose to reduce weight.
      C4, nor any other cutter charges, will cut steel that thick.

      9/11 Myths Why conspiracy theories can’t stand up to the facts, I’m a mechanical engineer, the twin towers were built at about 9 pounds per cubic foot, balsa wood is 10 pounds per cubic foot, the buildings were mostly air, that combined with the fuel were hot enough to weaken the metal. If you have ever cut metal with an industrial torch you don’t have to heat the metal to a glow to bend it.

      The bellows were invented by blacksmiths when iron was starting to be used. This was due to the fact coal fires (which burn much hotter than jet fuel) could not make the iron soft enough to work with. The concept is called forced induction, a torch uses this principal. With out forced induction, jet fuel burns @ 218 deg C. No where close enough to “soften” steel, by no stretch of the imagination. And even if it were to do so, as u claim, it would NEVER cause a total collapse to the ground level.
      Go back to school, you lack a BASIC understanding of metallurgy and fuel temps.

The plane is a hollow tube that will and did collapse due to the impact. Said planes were chosen by the terrorists because of their fuel load. Full fuel means more mass.       There was never a DC -10 that hit the Empire State building. There has been a B-25 that hit it back in 1945. Even then the bomber disintigrated and no tail was left hanging out side of the building. Put the cheetos down and step away from the key board.

      it was a twin engine B 25 that hit the Empire State Building. And for yo conspiracy nuts, the twin towers were designed to withstand the impact of the largest airliner of the day which was the Boeing 707. Remember these towers were built in the mid sixties.

      At the very least, the plane would have BOUNCED OFF the steel a little bit and fell downward. That’s just common sense. Soft thin aluminum object hits harder, thicker, and immovable STEEL object, well, you get the picture.

      There is no reason to believe that airplanes can cut through steel so thick, so heavy. If someone drove a CAR at 300 mph into a solid building with STEEL walls, you can expect that car to flatten and bounce back a bit, in flames. But you can NOT expect the car to CUT THROUGH one foot thick steel columns. RIDICULOUS!!!

      Wow, thinking man…. I guess you haven’t considered that the planes did not hit SOLID steel walls? If I remember correctly, the steel BEAMS had gaps between them – for this stuff that you can see through, called GLASS and is typically referred to as a window. Hmmmm….. I wonder if the planes could possibly have been shredded by the steel, and then actually PENETRATED the building through those? I will admit that the steel beams were not ripped apart in the manner that left a plane sized hole in the steel. HOWEVER, the plane made it through the windows, and all of the damage was done on the INTERIOR of the building (as evidenced by the fact that they remained standing for an hour after impact – so the statements that the buildings were built to withstand the impact of a jumbo jet are correct, as the buildings did, but the interior damage sustained is what brought the buildings down).

      So, you admit that the plane could get “through the holes” in the steel wall. I never said it was a solid steel wall, you just don’t know how to read. Everyone knows there were windows. But the pictures of the side of the building with all that STEEL LATICE structure, the exoskeleton steel support, had been ripped through. Lookie here:

      Now, what if you were to take the ROLL of aluminum foil and throw it at the bottle? Does the bottle have a chance of falling over?

      What if you were to throw them at a window? Which would have the better chance of doing damage?

      Then you have the whole massXspeed issue to come up with inertia. You don‘t think that a plane’s inertia could inflict some damage?

      Try hitting a wall with a car at 5 mph – very little to no damage to either.

      Now do the same thing with the car traveling 60 mph. More damage or no? What caused the damage? We already proved with our other test that the car could collide with the wall and cause little to no damage! Surely, something else besides the car must have damaged the wall! Wait, I bet the CIA got ahold of the car and set up an elaborate explosive in the wall when it was being constructed, so that when they hit the wall with this particular car, it would explode and cause more damage than any car normally could. That is the ONLY answer!

He says aluminum can’t sheer steel. Hell, I watch them old boys on American Choppers sheer steel with just water on nearly every episode. Make some damn nice looking stuff too.

      The mass of that plane traveling at that velocity did horrific damage and caused pain that has not yet begun to heal. For some blind azz clown liberal to contradict what happened is a moral outrage and should bring shame to liberals everywhere.     The conspiracy loons ask why military jets were not brought in to shoot them down. But if you notice in that recording someone early on asks about F-16s being scrambled. How could they have known the planes were not going to be landed somewhere as is normal for hijacks? My understanding was that the F-16s were scrambled but still on the way.

      ThinkingHuman, As the resident stalwart of physics, surely you must be aware of the law “an object in motion tends to stay in motion”? You seem intent on proving that the demolition had to be pre-planned because a fire at the top of the building could not have melted steel at the bottom? (Very astute of you, btw). Have you ever considered the fact that the steel that failed was the steel on the floors that were impacted? Have you considered the fact that EACH FLOOR was designed to support X amount of weight? What happens when the floor above collapses onto the floor above and the weight on THAT FLOOR is double what the structure on THAT FLOOR was designed to handle? Do you think the floor that was collapsed upon would then collapse? Physics dictates that yes, it would. If you watch the video of the collapse, you will see that this is EXACTLY what happened – each floor giving way to the floors that had just collapsed on top of it. Now, go get your tin-foil hat out of the microwave, it’s ready now.
