The details and the content at this point are shaky. But for now, there’s buzz surrounding a new book claiming to show “Obama is not eligible to be president.”

That claim is part of the subtitle of a new supposed expose by James R. Corsi called, “Where’s the Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President.”

It’s utterly devastating,” a source close to the publisher told the Drudge Report. “Obama may learn things he didn’t even know about himself!”

The book isn’t due out until next month, but it already has a page on Amazon.com. It’s allegedly the product of years of research.

“When Donald Trump said he sent PIs to Hawaii to get to the bottom of all this, he meant this book,” an insider claimed to Drudge.

Recently, prominent conservatives have started to brush aside the “birther” talk. Glenn Beck, who has been speaking out against the movement since 2009, told his radio listeners last month, “Stop with the damn birth certificate!”

On Wednesday, Tea Party darling Michele Bachmann declared the GOP has “bigger fish to fry.”

      No, everyone he has apointed would be removed (vice, judges ect.) and everything that he has signed would be voided. The SCOTUS is who should do this if they would do the job that they were sworn in to do.

      IMHO Biden is as guilty of this fraud as are Obama and the Democrat party apparatchiks that put him on the ballot in all 50 states without proper vetting – especially Hawaii – the only state that did NOT certify him on the basis of his birth certificate…!!!

      When Obama goes, so goes Biden. They were elected as a fraudulent ‘ticket’.

      I think the constitution says the Speaker of the house would be sworn in as the replacement and he/she would have to pick their own V.P.

      While Pelosi was Speaker, no conservative wanted to go near the “Birth certificate” issue because of this possibility… It is good that we waited!

      Actually, your air plane ticket analogy is a pretty good one. Thing is, if you were found to not have a ticket at mid-flight you would be allowed to complete your flight. That’s what would happen if he was found to be ineligible mid-term. And, he would not be barred from flying on a future flight, most likely.

      I’m not for continued focus on this issue by politicians and elected officials, unless they are from the left (the rest of us should remain silent regarding the LFBC). I am for continued investigation from the private sector regarding that issue. And I do believe we have bigger fish to fry, and should focus on those issues (ones that can be clearly defined and proven). That is how we are going to take our country back. Through truth and integrity, adhearing to our great Constitution. Nothing else.

      If it were found that Obama is not eligible to be President and were to be impeached, we would see the country literally erupt into flames. Think of the violence from the Rodney King trial on every street corner in America.

    As long as Obama and everyone that works for him is in Power, absolutely NOTHING will be done about this. Not a Single MSM Reporter (Faux News Included), Politician, Supreme, Federal or Local Judge, Law Enforcement Official or any Federal or State Government Agency will touch Obama’s Birth Certificate or Eligibility Requirement Problem. They will even allow him to run for Re-Election despite having his problems. They refuse to touch it, because they are ALL INVOLVED in this Fraud. Even the ones newly elected in 2010. It would be better for them to sweep it under the Table and pretend it never happened. IF (Big IF) Obama is Removed from Office, it will be due to one or more of his policies going too far in going against the Constitution (Maybe). Since Our Constitution is now worth less than a roll of Toilet Paper to these Guys, I don’t see that happening. He will finish out his term, possibly finish out a second term, and this whole NBC/BC thing will be swept under the carpet for future historians to discover.

      People are smart enough to multi-task. We can wonder about Obama’s birth certificate, his relationship with Ayers, whether Ayers ghost wrote his book, Obamacare, the disaster in Libya, the lack of jobs under Obama, china buying up our debt, our debt rising under Obama at record pace, to record levels, etc, etc, all at the same time. The idea that we have bigger fish to fry means we will have smaller fish to fry just as well. We can all get along just fine, by not letting any negativity about Obama slide by unnoticed. Hit him from all angles all the time is my motto.

    THis is not going to STOP til people get a legal answer. Something tells me people in the know with power know more then they want us to know . Who knows maybe they are trying to get the Birthers to stick to the more legit issues so we can get him out without causing too much disruption to our country as a whole.     What people don’t understand is that the birth certificate is not end of the issue. It doesn’t matter if Hawaii gave him a “valid” birth certificate. If he was not born on American soil, case closed, Obama can’t be president. State law doesn’t determine natural citizen ship. It can’t. Otherwise, California could pass law that says Arnold was born there, and then he could run for President. The test for “natural citizenship” is one of fact not law. Thus, whether Hawail issued Obama a birth certificate is irrelevant.

      Although I think Mr. Corsi will have some interesting tidbits to share with us, and is the author that torpedoed John Kerrys shot at the presidency, I doubt that he has uncovered anything that would definitively prove that BHO was not born in this country….

      The country does not matter as much as the parentage. His father was a citizen of the UKC (United Kingdom and Colonies) thus Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen.

    it shouldnt be a ‘big controversy” as far as the upcoming campaign/debates…BUT…conservatives who are NOT running..should be..behind the scenes..getting to the bottom of it once and for all….
    Congress should DEMAND to see the FULL FORM…then, if he doesnt show it, that would be suspicious….and AZ Gov Brewer(i do love you, but..)..shame on you for rejecting bill to mandate BCs for candidates…

      Actually the entire ticket would be disqualified. The third in the line of succession is the Speaker of the House. Most of momentum on this stopped after the realization that if this was pushed earlier than this January and miraculously something was done Pelosi would become President. Talk about spooky.

      Teddrunk, you’re probably wrong. If Obama is forced out because of fraud it is very possible that Biden and Pelosi will be found as part of the cover-up and both be in trouble, too. I add Pelosi because she’s the one who signed off in Denver at the DNC national convention that Obama had met the requirements needed to run for office. And Biden‘s too close to the situation to get away with claiming he didn’t know. The real problem is whether anyone will prosecute the issue. They are so afraid of upsetting the media that the Republicans don’t have the guts to pursue it. The fact is that they will probably just stall it off until he’s out of office and let him retire quietly. If there really are facts to back up a fraud charge he won’t be prosecuted, he’ll be left alone and allowed to retire at taxpayer expense…and that may be after a second term, not just this first term.

The pompous leftist media has treated all people who dare ask for the original birth certificate as uneducated circus clowns, thus intimidating any one who might think of questioning Obama’s legitimacy as POTUS.

      I believe Rush, Glenn and Mark who have recently come out publicly, and requested that we refrain from going down the birther path, at least until after election. Why…… They don’t the “right” to give Obama’s main-stream-media a chance to convince Independents that the Tea Party is just a bunch of conspiracy theorists, and that Obama is the clear choice of reason……. “NOT!!!!”

      Having said that……… I still would like to see Barry’s college applications, Chicago Bar application…….. Who paid for him to go to some of the most expensive schools in the country….. How did he get a Connecticut SS#….. Why was he and Michelle disbarred by Illinois Bar Assoc.

      I don’t yet have my PhD and I already know that the case is a crock. I only had to check out the actual Law that is available to everyone to see. So this book is either being written to gouge money out of the blind gullible birther fools or to play a “false flag” move by the progerssives to keep our side distracted.

      He hasn’t obeyed the constitution or any federal court rulings since he took office. Why should any of us believe that he, or the Dems would ever allow himself to be removed from office? The idea that he could be removed from office, and all of his policies and new regulations would be rolled back is even more far fetched than the idea that he was never born in the united states.

      It’s very unfortunate, and I wish it weren’t true, but that’s just the reality of it.

      I dont understand why folks dont give this more credence to this issue. If he wasnt born a US citizen, this is a HUGE issue. Not being eligable to be President cant be understated. If he is, then he is just a jerk for letting this carry on for so long. If he isnt, then he is a traitor to his adopted country.

      No gets that even if Hawaii issued Obama a “valid birth certificate” it doesn’t matter for purposes of being a “natural citizen.” That’s a question of fact, not law. It would be like if California passed a law that said Arnold was naturally born there. He still couldn’t run. Fed law trumps state. So even if Obama produces the birth certificate it’s irrelevant.

      THAT‘S WHY HE’S NOT. He keep us bickering about paper work, when the real issue is fact.

      @ For me, it‘s not that it’s not an issue, it’s that there are bigger more important battles, and nothing that has been put into place under and illegal president will be undone in the next two years, whether he’s impeached or not. Maybe that’s why Glenn is urging us to drop this and fight the bigger fights. He still has political allies in power right now and there’s nothing that will change that balance of power except and act of God or a new election. Obama has already been exposed as a fraud. This will help that come to light, but even if he’s ousted, Biden is still there.

      I’ve been saying it for quite sometime now. It will be interesting to see if Corsi goes the birther route or my theory of BHO’s legal identity. I even conclude in my theory that this is something missed with no malice intent on BHO‘s families part resulting in an oh ’shoot’ moment for a grown Barry Obama or is it Soetoro. No one would think 40+ yrs ago about a child’s name change in an overseas failed marriage, we would just go back to calling the kid we always have known them by.

      Regardless of intent, Lolo Soetoro allegedly adopted Barack as there are school records that confirm this name change and sites like FactCheck.org support the adoption in debunking the birther argument!

      What it all means? If BHO legally is Barry Soetoro then evey time he has signed his name BHO its an act of identity fraud. IMO BHO or someone close to him is in fact pulling the strings on the birther thing to distract and misdirect the public on looking into his true legal identity.

      BHO will milk this until election time then release the BC at the last moment for a big I told you so. He will come out of it gaining voters who were on the fence leaning towards a GOP candidate. It will be a lock for his 2nd term, esp if someone like Huckabee or Ron Paul goes up against him. It is imperative to get off this birther issue and look into his legal identity(hopefully Corsi has discovered something to put this to a stop). Time is not on our side this guy is a master of deceit and misdirection. There are countless vids available of him promising the world to voters and look at him toady a complete 180 from campaign promises.

      Birthers are being played and someone like Trump with the money and resources to dig up the truth is being fooled as well if he stays only on the birther issue.

      Here’s the deal and I think everyone here knows it is true: Even if they produced a video showing Barak‘s birth in Kenya or wherever it is said he was born and it was confirmed that it was Barry’s mom, NOBODY with the power to remove him would do squat. It’s just as simple as that. WE are gonna have to remove him next year, no way anything else can happen sooner.       Personally, I view Barack Obama as the Rosie Ruiz of the Presidential race. Remember Rosie? She jumped out of and back into the Boston Marathon? He knew he couldn’t win on qualifications, so he found another way to make others believe.

      M-Theory, your conclusion that Biden would still be there is probably faulty. Obama’s lack of natural born citizenship theoretically invalidates the entire Democratic ticket, leaving only the independent and republican candidates on the presidential ballot. Election law probably does not specifically,address the circumstances being discussed, as the ascension of the next in line occurs only in the event of incapacitation of a duly elected president, which might be disproven in this case. The election laws should be revised to clarify the murkiness around this issue in future elections.

      In any case, do not assume that another Democrat necessarily would fill the vacancy if the election of Barack Obama was invalidated. .

      Perhaps the real reason no one wants to do anything about the “Birth Issue” is because then Obama would be removed and we would have Biden as President. This would mean all of the laws passed under his governance would be invalid. This might just create some turmoil. On this issue though I do feel we need to have closure and screaming the Republican Party has “bigger fish to fry” or even Glen Beck’s declaration to “stop” is woefully insufficient. The fact that Obama’s name was changed to Barry Saetoro is very relevant and when he returned to this country when did it get legally changed back and oh, by the way the fact he had another citizenship disqualified him from being “natural born” for upon his return his passport would read “native born”. So where is all of this information? If he kept his name and dual citizenship, it would explain a lot because he would have received scholarships for being a citizen from Indonesia and since these records are missing too, kinda makes you wonder.

      Personnel in the National Archives start to gather memorabilia about a president right after he is elected to put in his presidential library at a later date. Anyone ever think about what will be going in Obama’s library? As he refuses to divulge anything that occurred before 2006, his presidential library will look vastly different from any other president before him. The libraries of Clinton, Bush, Reagan and others contain things like birth certificates, baptismal certificates, grade school report cards, college data, etc. Are the National Archives being told not to search for memorabilia like that? Just wondering.

      This birther stuff is all ridiculous. A lot of this is pointless to argue because of a common misconception of the meaning of “natural born citizen” in the constitution. The birth location is not the only criteria that determines natural born citizenship. My son was born in Belgium and he can become President of the United States, because he was born to a US Citizen and is entitled to the jurisdiction of the United States at birth. It says so on his birth certificate. He is not a naturalized citizen. Obama could have been born on Mars for all I care (could be true!), his mother was a US citizen. Let’s stop chassing this red herring and stick to the important topics!
      Here is the most recent consensus on the subject:

      A memorandum to Congress dated April 3, 2009, written by the Congressional Research Service, states–
      Considering the history of the constitutional qualifications provision, the common use and meaning of the phrase “natural-born subject” in England and in the Colonies in the 1700s, the clause’s apparent intent, the subsequent action of the first Congress in enacting the naturalization act of 1790 (expressly defining the term “natural born citizen” to include a person born abroad to parents who are United States citizens), as well as subsequent Supreme Court dicta, it appears that the most logical inferences would indicate that the phrase “natural born Citizen” would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship “at birth” or “by birth”.

      Will someone explain to me why we cannot see his birth certificate. What is the big deal. If he is truly a citizen shouldn’t his certificate be available for all to see. Why is that so difficult and what is the game here. This is not a matter of telling the truth.       The U.S. government rushes toward bankruptcy, the dollar continues to sink on world markets and the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation fueled by Obama’s extraordinary deficit spending? Obama wins handily.
      You are crazy Williams. Don’t you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world conditions are declining? Sure I do. And that’s why I know Obama will win.
      The American people are notoriously ignorant of economics. And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated. Even when Obama’s policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the American people are going to believe the bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use to explain why it isn’t his fault. After all, things were much worse than understood when he took office.

      Obama’s reelection is really a very, very simple math problem. Consider the following:

      1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. Doesn’t matter what he does. It’s a race thing.
      2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It’s really not more complex than that,
      3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,
      4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coattails will carry them to victory nationwide,
      5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,
      6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics,
      7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more everyday. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,
      8) The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all… to not love him would be racist,
      9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won’t vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic. And lastly,
      10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn’t need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned. The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012.

Alinsky dedicated his book ‘Rules for Radicals’ to Lucifer, and to those who believe him also subscribe to his ideals. I love all human beings, but for some, I hate their sins. Call me what you want, I really don’t mind.       Supreme Court Justice O’Connor ( a Republican ) replies that the Supreme Court has never decided a case about how the term “natural born citizen” applies to presidential eligibility, but cited several instances where persons not born in the US have run for President (Barry Goldwater, George Romney and John McCain) and then adds:

      All of our Presidents have, to date, been born in the 50 states. Notably, President Obama was born in the state of Hawaii, and so is clearly a natural born citizen.

      true believers in Jesus Christ – another group, and those would be the true believers in Christ, such as yourself (i hope)

      in freedom – those that believe in freedon (another group)

      in liberty – those that believe in liberty (another group or part of the previous group)

      You see commas do separate groups, thoughts and ideas, but you would lump them in to twist their meanings.

      Yes I would consider him a Patriot, if it were not for his policies of keeping people down with welfare checks and handouts, entitltements didn’t make this country great; hard work and entreprneurship, risk taking did, not sitting on your fat arse collecting handouts to pump out babies. I don’t care what a persons religion is at all. A true Patriot sees insane spending based on ideology to be an enemy of the state, it has NOTHING to do with religion.       Girl, let me tell you something about life – it is called get an education, hard work and dedication. And no I do not believe in giving able bodied people handouts, period. I do believe in providing for the elderly, and the infirm. I do believe in 26 weeks of unemployment when one loses a job, not 99 weeks to sit on your arse and turn down work because it doesn’t suit you!

      I put myself through school basically, I did get a small amount of help from my parents, who were poor (they were artists), but I took out loans and got small grants to suppliment myself. I worked three jobs, went to school full time, and played on the soccer team (no scholarship) as it was a new program with no money yet. Then I got a job and paid my loans back to those, you know, greedy bankers! No, your stuck in commie land, and WE THE PEOPLE are gonna smack you and your ilk down so hard come 2012, if you allow us to make it that far, and we are going to cut the spiggots OFF!!!! Then you will sink or swim on your own – how do you like me now! Ever read the Bible about the parable of the tenants? Please do! Just look at all the violations of the constitution there have been since he’s taken office (or any president for that matter, specially since 1990 onward) or the picking and choosing those who will be prosecuted and which cases are dismissed simply because a black man is president and another black man is Attorney General, which surely violates their oaths of office if not the US Constitution as well.

      There is much more to this issue than meets the eye. Until Obama releases his long form certificate this issue will not go away. I’d venture to say he is losing votes over it. All he has to do is release the form and if he was born in the USA then the problem goes away. Why spend millions of our money to prevent it’s release. Don‘t know if Corsi’s book will prove anything, but at least it will present some very interesting facts. Every American should read the book. Even if they are true Obama believers.

      An analysis of Hawaii‘s birth recording requirements around the time of Barack Obama’s 1961 birth reveals several ways to generate a “Certificate of Birth,” including some that require no documentation other than the assertion of a adult.
      The word comes in a report by an investigator commissioned by a retired CIA officer. The report was posted online by the Western Center for Journalism, which withheld the officer’s name.
      “In the State of Hawaii, back in 1961, there were four different ways to get an ‘original birth certificate’ on record,” the investigator says, including a report to the Department of Health from an attending physician or midwife.
      But if the certificate was obtained through any of the other three options, “Obama would have a very good reason not to release the vault birth certificate,” the investigator said.
      “If the original certificate were the standard … type of birth certificate (documented by a physician or midwife), he would have allowed its release and brought the controversy to a quick end,” the report said. The investigator said if the birth certificate was obtained by one of the other methods, then it contributes to the overall questions raised about Obama’s eligibility.
      Tell Obama you don’t buy his state-run media coverup!
      “And the fact that though there are many witnesses to Ann Dunham’s presence on Oahu from Sept. 1960 to Feb. 1961, there are no witnesses to her being on Oahu from March 1961 to August 1962 when she returned from Seattle and the University of Washington. No Hawaiian physicians, nurses, or midwives have come forward with any recollection of Barack Obama’s birth,” the report said.
      While it‘s clear that release of the original birth certificate would answer many questions about Obama’s origins, it is far from the only document in dispute. WND has reported that documentation not yet available for Obama includes his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records.
      WND also reported previously that the short-form “Certification of Live Birth” posted online presented by Obama as documentation of his reported Hawaiian birth doesn’t alone “prove” his birth, according to government officials.
      U.S. State Department officials say the law is “complicated,” and Hawaii state officials said such documents are issued only when certain standards have been met.
      But the investigator reported there are scenarios that don’t involve a physician.
      “In 1961, if a person was born in Hawaii but not attended by a physician or midwife, then all that was required was that one of the parents send in a birth certificate to be filed. The birth certificate could be filed by mail. There appears to have been no requirement for the parent to actually physically appear before ‘the local registrar of the district,’” the investigator said. He called this option BC2.
      “It would have been very easy for a relative to forge an absent parent’s signature to a form and mail it in. In addition, if a claim was made that ‘neither parent of the newborn child whose birth is unattended as above provided is able to prepare a birth certificate, the local registrar shall secure the necessary information from any person having knowledge of the birth and prepare and file the certificate,’” the report said. “I asked the Dept of Health what they currently ask for (in 2008) to back up a parent’s claim that a child was born in Hawaii. I was told that all they required was a proof of residence in Hawaii (e.g. a driver’s license … and pre-natal (statement or report that a woman was pregnant) and post-natal (statement or report that a new-born baby has been examined) certification by a physician. On further enquiry, the employee that I spoke to informed me that the pre-natal and post-natal certifications had probably not been in force in the ’60s. Even if they had been, there is and was no requirement for a physician or midwife to witness, state or report that the baby was born in Hawaii.”
      Another opportunity arises because of the law in force in 1961 in Hawaii that if a person was born in Hawaii but not attended by a physician or midwife, then, up to the first birthday of the child, a ‘Delayed Certificate’ could be filed, which required that ‘a summary statement of the evidence submitted in support of the acceptance for delayed filing or the alteration [of a file] shall be endorsed on the certificates,‘ which ’evidence shall be kept in a special permanent file,’” the report said of the option called BC3.
      “In other words, this form of vault birth certificate, the Delayed Certificate, required no more than a statement before a government bureaucrat by one of the parents or (the law does not seem to me clear on this) one of Barack Obama’s grandparents. If the latter is true, Ann Dunham did not have to be present for this statement or even in the country,” the investigator said.
      Finally, a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth is available for those born in Hawaii without attendance and for whom no Delayed Certificate was filed.
      There actually was one further option, but it didn’t become law until 1982, the report said. Under Act 182, “Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that the proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.
      “In this way ‘state policies and procedures’ accommodate even ‘children born out of State,’” the report said, noting, “This is the actual language of Act 182.
      “So it is even possible that the birth certificate referred to by [state Health Department chief] Dr. [Chiyome] Fukino is of the kind specified in Act 182. This possibility cannot be dismissed because such a certificate certainly satisfies Dr. Fukino’s statement that, “I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai’i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”
      Such a statement could apply to any one of several of the birth certificate options in Hawaii, the report said.
      “I only bring up this possibility to show how cleverly hedged and ‘lawyered’ and basically worthless Dr. Fukino’s statement is,” the investigator said.
      “The fact that Obama refuses to release the vault birth certificate that would instantly clear up this matter almost certainly indicates that the vault birth certificate is probably a BC2 or possibly a BC3,” the report said.
      “It is also very strange that Dr. Fukino’s statement in no way attested to (or even addressed the issue of) the authenticity of the ‘Certification of Live Birth’ (and the information that appears on it) that the Daily Kos blog and the Obama campaign posted on line,” the investigator pondered.
      The absence of a hospital name or physician on the vault certificate would mean Obama wasn’t born in a hospital in Hawaii. A home birth also could be ruled because of other evidence, the report said.
      “When someone has a home birth or is not born in a hospital, this becomes a part of his family’s lore and is now and again spoken of by his parents. He and his siblings grow up knowing that he was born at home or his uncle’s house, etc. The fact that someone in the campaign told a Washington Post reporter that he was born in Kapiolani hospital and his sister said he was born at Queens hospital indicates that there was not and is not any Obama/Dunham family memory of a home birth or non-hospital birth in Hawaii,” the report said.

      The investigator said the “Certification of Live Birth” posted online by the campaign “proves nothing.”
      The investigator said the reason for a deception, given the probable of the origins of the birth certificate, are plain.
      A young girl giving birth in a foreign country to a child whose father was not an American citizen did not have the right to pass along American citizenship, the report said.
      “When enacted in 1952, section 301 [of federal immigration laws at the time] required a U.S. citizen married to an alien to have been physically present in the United States for 10 years, including five after reaching the age of fourteen, to transmit citizenship to foreign-born children. The 10-year transmission requirement remained in effect from 12:01 a.m. EDT December 24, 1952, through midnight November 13, 1986, and still is applicable to persons born during that period,” the investigator said.
      “Even if the law was retroactively changed to grant citizenship (but not ‘natural-born’ citizenship) to some of those who had at birth been denied it. If a person is not at the time of his birth an American citizen, he cannot be a natural-born citizen. Therefore, that person is ineligible under Article II, Section1 for the Office of President of the United States,” the report concluded.
