Eyewitness Claims Zimmerman Held Trayvon’s Face on the Ground, ‘Did Nothing to Help’ After Shooting

In the latest of several eyewitness reports from the Trayvon Martin shooting, a woman named Mary Cutcher has come forward.
In an interview airing on Dateline Sunday, Cutcher said that she and her roommate ran outside after hearing the shot. Then, they saw George Zimmerman holding Trayvon Martin’s face on the ground. ”He never tried to help,” she said.
Cutcher’s account paints a drastically different picture than that of another eyewitness who came forward yesterday. The individual, who prefers to remain unnamed, claims that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman before he was shot. Joe Oliver, George Zimmerman’s longtime friend, has also been appearing on television programs to say that Zimmerman is not a racist, but cannot stop crying and is afraid for his life.
New reports from the New York Post are also shedding light on Zimmerman’s character. The Post writes that Zimmerman wanted to join the police force, but didn’t make it. Instead he “played the part” in his community, “[calling] the police at least 46 times within the last year – many of those times [to] report ‘suspicious’ African-Americans within the subdivision.”
Trayvon Martin’s shooting has caused mass outrage throughout the nation.
Jesse Jackson spoke to a crowd of 1,600 at a Baptist Church in Eatonville, Florida Sunday, where he asked, “How do we go from a moment to a movement that creates fundamental change? If it’s a moment, we go home. If it’s a movement, we go to war.”
He continued by saying “there is power in the blood of the innocent” and compared Trayvon Martin‘s death to Emmett Till’s in 1955. “Blacks are under attack,” he said.
The Daily Mail continues:
On Saturday, protesters gathered in New York bolstered by campaigners from Occupy Wall Street, and marched from Zuccotti Park to Union Square, with many activists dressed in hoodies to represent the clothes Martin was wearing when he was shot dead by George Zimmerman.

Meanwhile, the Rev Al Sharpton said today that activists are planning a ‘wave of civil disobedience.’
Speaking outside of his New York City headquarters today, Rev Sharpton said that it is important to show ‘sustained indignation’ over Martin’s death.
He also appeared on the Today show this morning and said that the legal system failed Trayvon Martin and his family.
Mr. Zimmerman’s legal advisor, Craig Sonner, said that more information will be released when the case comes forward on April 10.

Then they let up on that, and now are determining guilt or innocence based on whether or not a guy who just got his face beat in and his head gashed should immediately perform CPR on the black thug.
This is building not into a search for the facts, but an incitement to riot, and the usual black suspects are pounding the drums for war. They even got the community organizer causing a direct racial split.

Report Post »Only a fool would run into a potential firestorm. Most people who do not live by a firing range, (as I do) often mistake gunshots for car backfires and vice versa. Why run outside to a car backfiring? Ms. Cutcher doesn’t seem the type to be very savvy about guns, and evidently she isn’t. She ran outside towards the armed man, and didn’t find cover, as anyone with any sense would do.

A lot of people on this site are so desperate to feel like they are making a point that they flat out refuse to recognize any of the facts. In any of the events that people cite on here and ask “where is the outrage sharpton oh my god”, the perpetrator, or at least suspect, has been held in custody and charged. In this case, the man is walking free and the police were content with not doing anything. They did a background check on the boy but claimed Zimmerman had a squeaky clean past.
Why can’t people see that there was a difference in how this case was handled?

As to the Zimmerman incident, the local Police had Zimmerman present at the police station to investigate further. They corroborated his story with the witnesses, and determined that he was not a danger to society, or that he was a threat to anyone. (Hell, I think at this point, thanks to the MSM, society might be a danger to him). Nor did they have evidence to suggest Zimmerman committed murder or any other crime. Remember, they (aka the police dispatcher) were right there with Zimmerman almost the whole time. IN FACT, they had planned to meet up with Zimmerman. In none of the cases I posted did any of the perpetrators call the police and report their every move. The FACT THAT THE MSM refuses to report with such fervor (as with this Trayvon case) all these other stories is very telling, and disturbing. Do you see the issue?

This occurred a month ago and was NOT being investigated until they released the 911 tapes and there was media coverage. They hadn’t done interviews. They drug-tested Trayvon postmortem, but not Zimmerman, the shooter. The PD is likely implicated here too.

They weren‘t going to investigate whether it’s justified homicide. The SYG law didn’t apply as of the time that he pursued Trayvon, the man who wrote the law said so. This shouldn’t be a left-right issue, everybody should want to know the truth, sort out these conflicting stories in a court, under oath.

They had Zimmerman in the station, and took witness accounts. They had no evidence to make an arrest. I still see this as a story the MSM is picking, and making it their own, for their own purpose. The MSM doesn’t care what really happened, they just care about what they can get out of it, and what how they can make the public believe what they wish had happened.

It turns out, the police did investigate and couldn’t gather the evidence needed for an arrest. There is no evidence that suggests Zimmerman murdered Martin in cold blood. The overwhelming of evidence aligns with Zimmerman’s story, and not that of the MSM. Next, they’ll say, well, we should still prosecute him, and make an example. ETC. They’re pulling at straws here. Self defense laws can not be used if you are committing a crime (trespassing) so the teen had no right to use deadly force and the man did by law. No one is talking about the fact that the self defense law in Fl gave Zimmerman the right to use deadly force because he was attacked by a person while they were committing a crime. HE WILL WALK!!!! there is no way around it based on the wording of the law he was within his rights. Why didn’t the white boy who was burned at his home by black children have as much press and anyone speaking about about violence? Why don’t the countless black on black gang related crimes that happen on an almost nightly basis in our inner cities get this much press and speaking out against them? What about the six year old who was playing on her front porch on March 17th in Chicago who was innocently shot and killed by what appears to be a gang related shooting? Or how about the 41 people shot in Chicago that same weekend?
Until ample time is given to all victims of senseless violence, I don’t give a hoot what anyone else has to say about Trayvon. It’s a shame that he was killed. He is not the sweet boy that his parents and others want him to make him out to be, as he was suspended from school at the time, and we will never know fully what took place as we weren’t there, and neither did any of the witnesses see the entire incident.
I am not sure what happened to innocent until proven guilty in this country. I do know that if a black man were being convicted by the media in the way Zimmerman, a man of Hispanic origin, is currently being, Sharpton, Jackson, and the Black Panters would be calling those convicting the black man racist. I am tired of double standards, & wish that those living in black communities would call out these groups for the double

Preliminary evidence and witness statements show that a physical altercation had gone on between the 6 ft 2 in Trayvon Martin and Zimmerman. Zimmerman suffered a broken nose and an injury to the back of his head. HAD Trayvon Martin survived the gun shot wound, he would’ve almost certainly been charged with assault as an adult. This is a sad situation, but let the facts come out. There are a LOT of factual errors in what is being said on these posts. First being that Zimmerman was “stalking” Martin for the purpose of murdering him. That’s a LOT of conjecture that is not supported by the known facts. Additionally that language is only useful for inciting violence and/or prejudicing juries. Want to make certain that someone goes free for committing a crime? Make enough of those kind of statements and you can prejudice the jury pool. Trayvon Martin had been suspended from school and was over 6 ft tall, so he wasn’t exactly a kid. Whether Zimmerman was justified in shooting Martin or not is a matter for a grand jury to decide, not the Holder (in)Justice dept. I would hazard a guess that had the case been accurately portrayed as a Hispanic shooting a black, the media wouldn’t have even been carrying it. I guess Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow Coalition is going to be taking a hit on this one. Of course I think they should’ve been forced to pay a slander settlement to the Duke Lacrosse players.

Where‘s the Blaze story on the fact that the police report states that actual physical evidence from the scene CONFIRMS Zimmerman’s story. Such as, Trayvon hit him from behind, then hit him as he (Zimmerman) was on his back yelling for help. The physical evidence was a wound to the back of the his head, plus grass stains on the BACK of his shirt. Also, it was raining, and the grass was wet; and only the BACK of Zimmerman’s shirt was wet. This confims the witness who said he saw Trayvon ontop of Zimmerman, and Zimmerman on his back.
Shame on the Blaze for doing what the rest of the media is doing: stirring up the pot. The media is creating an angry mob, and the Blaze is joining the fray.

Not they saw him shoot Trayvon in cold blood, NOT they saw Zimmerman pick a fight and shoot him, no, they said they saw AFTER the shooting. Not liking black people doesn’t make this hispanic man a murderer. Being on a power trip does not make this man a murderer. I see you intentionally ignored the information provided by the state of FL that says you can use deadly force to prevent yourself from receiving serious bodily injury and having your face punched and your head bashed on the ground can cause serious bodily injury. Heck, just having someone punch you about the nose can cause serious bodily injury. I take you you know nothing about the laws governing self defense in any state.
When we redrafted the laws in TN governing carrying handguns we intentionally insured that there was language in them that allowed people here to use deadly force to prevent serious bodily injury. The language was modeled after the Florida law that has been in place for many years. We made sure of this to keep an over zealous district attorney or money hungry lawyer from causing problems for a law abiding citizen that had to use deadly force.

The law doesn’t require that your attacker outweighs you. It only requires that you be in fear of serious bodily injury. And the facts we know of Mr. Zimmerman being on the ground on his back and Trayvon was on top of him hitting him about the face would put any reasonable person in fear of serious bodiy injury. And when you look at the newest pictures of Trayvon, not the ones from many years ago, I am not sure that Mr. Zimmerman outweighed him by a 100 pounds anyway.
There is no evidence, brought forth so far, that shows Mr. Zimmerman initiated the physical confrontation. Mr. Zimmeran following Trayvon isn’t sufficient for Trayvon to attack him. Once the final autopsy report is released we will know more, but from the initial information released from the scene there was nothing on Trayvon to indicate that Mr. Zimmerman initiated a physical confrontation.

It doesn’t matter that someone attacking you is unarmed. If you’re getting attacked, you don‘t ask the person if they’re armed. In fact, cops assume all suspects are armed. I know plenty of former marines that know about 20 different ways to kill you with their bare hands. Stating “unarmed” twenty times doesn’t make a difference either.

As a citizen he can call the police, which he did, if he suspects a crime is being committed…but the police correctly told him he had to back off, which he did not. The kid KNEW Zimmerman was stalking him…and it, understandably, scared him. The kid was doing nothing wrong…

In one day, CNN reported about 40 times that Zimmerman was white. Which they hoped would spark outrage and accusations of racism, hate, etc in order to blame ‘whitey’. It turns out he’s Hispanic. So THEN, CNN says, Oh, well, his race doesn’t really matter. Zimmerman’s father has said he himself and his son are Hispanic. Martin is a white last name, but that does not make Martin white, etc. The media does have an agenda, and they are making something out of nothing. Here’s another one. Every photo of Zimmerman that you see, is a brightened up photo, to make him look white. A raw photo reveals that Zimmerman has a tan complexion, not white. That’s the MSM doctoring photos to give a false impression. There are plenty of stories of blacks beating, attacking, robbing, raping, and torturing white people, but don’t expect that to get an inch of national coverage.

I have been exercising that right for over 30 years. If Lumbar’s claim held any validity I should have shot and killed a few people over those years. But since not a single firearm of mine has been used to take anyone’s life, even in self defense, it shows Lumbar is as full of BS as the claims of Trayvon being an innocent little child in this matter.
I stand by my statement and will say it even so that simpletons, aka liberals, can understand it. Lumbar’s car has been used to kill as many people, if not more people, than every gun I currently own or ever have owned. Heck fire, I can expand that statement to include the firearms owned by my brothers, my sisters, my nephews, my nieces, my great nephews/nieces and my uncles. Because if his car has killed one single human being it has killed more people than the hundreds of firearms that my family owns.

The more up to date pictures, which the main stream media are not showing everywhere, show a 17 year old teenager that is 6 foot 3 inches tall and with a build that would allow him to do serious harm to someone with his fists. The truth is not good for those claiming Trayvon was the victim.

He is no longer the little scrawny kid pictured in the one image that all of the main stream media wants to use of him that was taken many years ago. And if a 6 foot 3 inch person only weighed 140 pounds they would be so thin that they couldn’t walk. I took the time to research this information just like I took the time to research a quote from Florida‘s website that shows that one can legally use deadly force not only to protect one’s life but to prevent serious bodiy injury. Some of us are not just posting what we want things to be, but what facts are available for all who take some time to do a bit of research.
