‘Do You Believe Him?‘ New Film Attacks Obama’s Record on Israel

Just before the AIPAC conference begins in Washington, a pro-Israel, anti-Obama group called Emergency Committee for Israel is releasing a 30-minute movie called “Daylight: The Story of Obama and Israel.”

The group run by executive directors Noah Pollak and Michael Goldfarb has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in their campaign ahead of the AIPAC Conference.  There, Obama will have to defend his record in front of a voting bloc that is becoming less uniformly democrat, as The Hill writes:

“Republicans note that Obama has not yet traveled to Israel as a president, though he made a high-profile speech in Cairo in which he sought to reset relations with the Arab world following the Iraq war.

The uneasy personal relationship between Obama and Netanyahu is also a sore spot.  The last time the two met, Obama clashed with Netanyahu on settlement building and was lectured by the Israeli prime minister in the Oval Office for suggesting the 1967 borders be the starting point for the Israeli-Palestinian negotiation.”

In one of ECI’s more notable posters, Obama is pictured next to the words, “He says a nuclear Iran is unacceptable.  Do you believe him?”  Below, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Khameni are shown performing the Nazi “heil” next to the words, “Do they?”

ECI also intends to refute Obama’s claim that he has “[supported] Israel on every single problem they’ve had over the last few years” in the upcoming film.  In the words of the organization’s executive director Noah Pollak, “Obama said today he doesn’t understand why there are questions about his record of support for Israel…We think this movie will set the record straight, and remind pro-Israel Americans of the facts of this administration’s failure to stand with Israel at some critical moments.”

      Obama’s Masterplan: Driven by intentional manipulation, deception and reformation of the United States’ foundation… Using tv, media, government regulation, networking and organizing techniques with a full frontal attack and auspice of being society’s best interest. He is utilyzing European Union strategies by creating crisis made in America which empowers him with the empty promise of acting out of “the greater good of the common man”. By giving money away as bribes to all the networking partners and socialist players who stand to prosper over the United States failures. He creates a broken state of debt unmatched and irreversible which leaves him with only one conclusion, to appear as a savior and ultimate controller of all entities of Americans lives through regulations and taxes falsely labelled under “social justice”.       Well then, we need to rally all those who want to keep the USA as a Nation where the poorest of the poor, can rise to the top on merit. We need to insist on voter ID, so that bussed-in illegal aliens aren’t casting votes, as directed. We need to rally the anti-Obama vote and inform them that “no” vote is a vote “for” Obama.

      President Barack Hussein Obama is a fool! Obama is arrogant, egotistical, haughty, intransigent and intractable. He is profoundly not a friend of Israel, but he is a friend of all Islamic states, and considers himself a close friend of Prime Minister Erdogan of Turkey.

      Because of Obama’s foolish and unreasonable hardline stance against Israel, Obama has emboldened the Palestinians to take a untenable position relative to Israel’s coming to peace table to in effect negotiate against themselves. Obama foolishly unilaterally made the policy statement that the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians would have to begin at the 1967 borders, which are indefensible, and Israel rightly would not consider such to be the starting point to negotiations. Because of Obama’s initial misguided position, instead of enhancing or promoting the peace process, Obama has in reality made the situation much more difficult if not impossible.

      Obama’s negative attitude and demeanor towards Israel comes not only from a strong empathy and inclination towards Muslim nations, but I firmly believe that Obama is a Muslim himself, and there is a plethora of information and dealings both pre-Presidency, as well as President, which lends credence to that belief. In any case Obama is not a Christian under any color of examination.

      The salient point is that Obama must be removed as President in the fall elections with every measure taken to see that the elections are fair and free of fraud

      THE_JERK, Just what is there to your accusation that Israel is an apartheid state? Israel has Muslims holding offices in their government and even judges on their version of the supreme court. Now, just how many persons of other religions hold any offices in Islamic nations? I would say the answer is a huge goose egg. Which would be the form of apartheid government?

Because Hitler was sending a message: you are no longer considered citizens of Germany. True the were permitted to fly the Zionist flag, but that wasn’t to do them any favors. Imagine if the US declared that Muslims were only allowed to fly the flag of Muslim countries or Muslim groups like the Brotherhood. Would that be a sign of Muslims controlling the US government?

      THE_JERK, follow your comments. Don’t think your a troll, but I do think you are uninformed and sometimes a bit of a jerk. Not a jerk today, just uninformed.

      Your comments on AIPAC are somewhat irrelevant, but your reference to Israel and comparing the situation or environment as apartheid is completely inaccurate.

      Israel not only has to protect itself against foreign enemies but also against domestic enemies, i.e., Palestinians who ally themselves with Hamas. This includes a history of suicide bombings and missile attacks from the Gaza strip. As the suicide bombers had come predominantly from the West Bank, the obvious reason for the building of the wall, both to keep the suicide bombers out and monitor those who come in. Inconvenient for the Palestinians? Absolutely, but a necessary precaution for Israel for its security.

      Ar far as living conditions and life in general for the Palestinians, they have it better there than for any other Palestinians in the Middle East and can participate in the Knesset and certainly openly establish and operate their businesses uninhibited by the Israelis – been there 3 times and there is nothing even close to any resemblance to apartheid.

      Even though the Palestinians clamor for their own state, I don’t think that will ever happen, as it is somewhat of a ruse pushed by the Arab states, since neither the Arab states, the Palestinians or Hamas do not want to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist, which leaves no room to negotiate.

      So, to say that my comments on AIPAC are irrelevant is itself, preposterous. And, to say that one is uninformed, because his facts don‘t agree with another’s perceived realty is again, preposterous.       THE_JERK, I did some research and yes, I stated that I did stand corrected regarding that statement. I was listening to a news broadcast a couple of weeks ago where the discussion regarded the fact that there are a number of Muslims holding elected office in Israel. During the discussion somebody brought up that no Jewish personnel held office in any Muslim country. Instead of accepting that as fact I should have researched it further. As I confessed, I made a mistake. Now, how about answering my question that I asked in the very beginning? How is Israel an apartheid nation?     The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and Israeli Navy torpedo boats, on June 8, 1967, during the Six-Day War. The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members (naval officers, seamen, two Marines, and one civilian), wounded 170 crew members, and severely damaged the ship. At the time, the ship was in international waters north of the Sinai Peninsula, about 25.5 nmi (29.3 mi; 47.2 km) northwest from the Egyptian city of Arish.

      It seems to be a situation normal, all eff uped moment, where the USA‘s orders to withdraw from the area weren’t received, and “of course” there was a Democrat President in the White House – Johnson. In my humble opinion, the USS Liberty was sacrificed to make the Israel look bad. Israel paid enormous amounts of money to make things right, and when they learned that it was an American Ship, they offered rescue services – which the Johnson Administration refused to accept. Again, yet another Democrat that is anti-Israel.

      Yeah, and the famous Gulf of Tonkin attack turned out to be two US ships “blundering around” in the dark at night. I put quotes around blundering around because there’s sufficient question about the need for an international incident to justify an escalation in the war to raise questions about the “accident” itself. After all, the US was building multiple B52 bomber bases in Thailand upto 18 months BEFORE the “incident” (I’ve been on those bases and have seen the dates impressed on the concrete).

      The USS Maine was attacked by the Spanish and that started the Spanish American war, right? Only decades later the truth comes out that it was a simple boiler explosion that was dressed up to fit another political need. The Spanish have a marvelous naval museum in Madrid. Almost all of it is in Spanish except this back corner where there’s a large display about that incident in both Spanish and English. It quotes sections of US Admiral Rickover’s investigation on the Maine that pretty much proves it to be an simple accident.

      Your retread of a possible story 40 years ago is meaningless.

      The Israelis know they were attacking a US ship.
      The sailors on the USS Liberty even changed the small American Flag they were flying out for an even larger American Flag.
      The sailors on board the USS Liberty were sun-bathing on deck when the Israelis attacked and could even see the pilots in the aircraft and waved to them.
      The Israeli aircraft even did a few fly-by’s before they attacked.
      The Israeli pilots even attacked the sailors that were in the water and attacked the life-boats.

      When the report got back to Naval command that the USS Liberty had been attacked they HQ had dispatched search and rescue, but after it was found out that the attack was done by Israel the search and rescue was postponed. (the only time that had been done in US Navy history).

      It is very sad that you would support another country over America and still call yourselves Patriotic Americans.

      I spent about an hour looking at the USS Liberty incident. What I discovered, is you can find information to support whatever theory you WANT to believe. At a time when Israel was fighting six countries, friendly fire seems to be the most logical explanation. This coming from an old salt who cares more about our sailors than I care about many of you. I can’t come up with a single reason as to why Israel would do anything to risk bringing in another nation against them. Especially a super power. If you want to go through all the primary sources out there with an open mind and present your findings, that’s one thing. It will take you months of research. If you’re looking on the internet, chances are you’re looking at a site that posted by some sort of hate group.

      I worked with a sailor that was on the Liberty and his recount of the attack was very ugly. For hours they were under attack by Israli forces. Hours. This was not a “friendly fire” mistake.

      How could Israel pass off an attack onto the Egyptians if the Egyptian air-force had been almost completely destroyed during Israel’s first strike? More importantly, how would they had passed of their French-built fighters for the Russian-built ones of the Egyptians? The very notion is idiotic. The people who ordered the attack couldn’t see what was happening and those attacking were just following the orders they assumed were correct. When the mistake was realized they called off the attack.

      This means if you vote for Obama because you feel obligated because Obama gave you a free Obama Cell Phone or has agree to pay for your Birth Control Pills – and then if Obama turns his back on Israel and allow Iran to attack – then God will toss Obama, you and Obama Cell phone in the lake of fire.

      @DB – the country of Israel is no longer God‘s ’chosen people’. In the Old Testament the country of Israel and Israelites were God‘s ’chosen people’ and this statement from Obadiah 15 applied to that scenario: http://biblia.com/books/niv/Ob15

      The Jews (Israelites) rejected Jesus – Jesus was crucified and He died for ALL people and HE takes away the sins of the world. Those who accept Christ as their savior are His chosen people.
      Israel rejected Christ – plain and simple.

      But people like Glenn Beck and others still hold on to a false theology that Israel has to be protected above all else including the safety of our own country (The USA) – which is not true.

      Of course Israel is a friend to the USA and as a friend the USA should be there in case that friend needs help – just as we did for Britain – but this stuff of protecting Israel above all else is simply an errant theology that gets us into these wars.

      MING – With all due respect, please open your mind from previous teachings and research yourself. Read Romans 11 Christians who are teaching this teaching of “replacement theology” re Israel are very wrong and it is of great importance this is corrected. You/they are confusing “salvation” and “chosen”. We non-Jewish Christians are “chosen” only in the sense that we will be saved if we accept the gift of Christ’s sacrifice – but that does not negate God’s love/promises He made Israel back in the Old Testament (to Abraham in Genesis) & His eternal plan.
      No – scriptures say God doesn’t ever take back His promises and He fulfills all prophecies stated before. He has not “forgotten” Israel just because a lot of them have rejected the gospel, etc. Many accepted Christ in the early days of the church. There has always been a small “remnant” that were Believers….in the “end times” (which I believe is now b/c the number of conversions to Christianity is growing quickly) a huge number will be saved. They have never ended being God’s “chosen people” from the beginning…and will be to the very end.

    We must stand with and not forsake Israel as the only true democracy in that part of the world. We must also try to develop relationships with other countries in the region but not at the cost of the relationship with Israel. This does beg a question. Why do Americans of Jewish ethnicity and/or faith consistently vote overwhelmingly for Democrats? Jews have voted overwhelmingly for every Democrat presidential candidate since Truman. The last three Democrat presidents (Carter, Clinton, and Obama) have distanced themselves from Israel while every Republican has staunchly defended Israel. The Jewish voting block alone could have made the difference in 08 and will certainly be able to make the difference this year. Where do you stand Jewish faithful? Why do you let the Democrats abuse your loyalty? Roosevelt is gone. And it was actually Eisenhower who insisted that the world know about the Holocaust. Again, where do you stand now?
