New Fox NFL Commercial Mocks TSA

Usually when sports and politics collide the result is horrendous. But the latest installment of Fox’s “It’s good to have a ring” Super Bowl campaign may be an exception.

The campaign is meant to bolster the credentials of the network’s Sunday NFL show hosts, most of whom have a Super Bowl ring as players or coaches. But some don’t, and the commercials feature those who do getting preferential treatment over those who are ringless.

So maybe it was only a matter of time before the commercials featured the ringed hosts breezing through TSA despite obvious security violations, and one person without a ring getting strip-searched:

(H/T: Gateway Pundit)

To be fair, the commercial isn’t over-the-top political. But given the recent TSA trouble, you can bet the producers knew people would draw comparisons.

Well done.

Video from Atlanta airport. Upon exiting the plane passengers were spooked to come out to hear a TSA audio warning over the loud speakers with flashing lights in the terminal, have you ever heard or seen somehting like this? it went unreported. I asked the airport employee in the terminal if this was a drill, she said “i do not think so but if i see people running, then you know it is hitting the fan” http://www.youtube.com/user/WeThePeoplePress#p/u/4/vPo8R79lQ6Q

    BUSINESS PLAN:

    1. Lease pools of multi-owner aircraft time, per flight hour.
    2. Identify non-FAA controlled commercial use Air fields of reasonable size and in driving distance of GVT CONTROLLED commercial fields.
    3. Establish 3 fields on the West Coast, 3 on the East Coast, two mid-West (central) fields within driving distance of each other.
    4. Construct Web-based scheduling for one cycle a day; both sets of “Coastal Fields” fly with several passengers to the two central fields timed to arrive at about the same time, 30-60 min layover for everyone to shuffle around, then aircraft return to their home coastal fields with cross-decked passengers aboard.
    5. Aircraft are returned, maintenance overnight for the next day’s flight.

Costs less over time, no GVT frisking, Keep It Simple Stupid, everyone wins.

You may need to pay a bit more a first, but you don‘t have to deal with other BS or drop your trousers for some unionized clown that makes more than you do now that they’re Federalized. (WHICH… many of us TOLD YOU NOT TO ACCEPT AFTER 911… because it wasn‘t going to be any better and once the gvt was involved you’re choices and redress mechanisms would be far less…. but did they listen??? NOOOOOOOOooooo………. nobody listens, they just keep handing it to gvt no mater what the problem is. Just wait until the complaint is “My skivvies aren’t white enough….” )

It’s a great commercial, but since I won’t fly until the TSA gets some brains (which will be never) since they are going to go UNION. Then the only ones they are hurting are the airlines. Just like Obama putting a ban on offshore drilling. They ought to ban all flights until they can guarantee planes won’t crash.

That almost shows it all. Now if they were to make a commercial with the ring holder going through with all kinds of weapons while NFL cheerleaders went through with nothing but bikinis on and it showing them having to be strip searched, now that would be an accurate portrayal of the TSA. The only problem is that I don’t think that they would be able to make that commercial because at the very least it would have to be a strong R rating if not higher. Also, they won’t show commercials with people smoking which is what the TSA perverts would be doing after the strip searches.

As if 9/11 were perpetrated by a cadre of super models and cheerleaders.

My wife and I have discussed this and we will no longer fly commercial aircraft until these “searches” and machines are history. When we travel out of country, we’ll drive to Canada and fly out from there. My wife is quite pretty and I will not permit her to be shamed and groped, nor my children.

The man being searched is the U.S. public, the TSA goons are the IRS searching for more tax money and the dog is the threat of harsh punishment if the State doesn’t get what it wants.

Good commercial. Well done. Any other time in history not much would have been made of this commercial other than the fact that it is KOOL…But in lieu of the state of our nation and the TSA takeover of our lives…it hits a nerve with me. And it should with you. The people in power know that we know there is special consideration given to certain people. Its like they are rubbing our noses in it. The message is still true. You have power, money, prestige, in the media..whatever you are treated different than the subjects. Always has been always will be…and more so with the current administration. It is obvious we are SUBJECTS more so than ever before today. Kinda like the girl that was expelled for the knife in her lunch box. What are the teachers bringing to school that is excused because they are the teacher or on staff.

      Interesting reading FloridaDave,
I think then you would have to agree that the “ringholders” represent the rich and superrich, who are able to get away with not paying a lot of taxes through loopholes protected by the Republicans while Joe Public carries the burden.
Also, if the average airline passenger is Joe Public, then the terrorist would be the crazy Tea Party-er and his “2nd Amendment” solutions.

      See! Reading is fun!

How long will it be before we have different classes of people going through the TSA gates with the highest classes receiving the least scrutinizing? Wait a minute…. we already have that. The standard where they get a pass on everything and receive all the advantages, while the rest of us get treatment similar to the guy being attacked by the dog in his underwear….And no, I don’t just mean by TSA at the airport…..we will eventually get the “serf treatment”, no matter what subject is being highlighted.

In a further indication that the “North American Union” agenda is quietly proceeding under what remains of the Security and Prosperity Partnership initiative in the Obama administration, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano signed, with little fanfare, an agreement in Mexico that would extend special “trusted traveler” access to the U.S. to an estimated 84 million Mexicans.

“In Mexico City, Secretary Napolitano and Mexican Ministry of the Interior Secretary José Francisco Blake Mora signed an agreement expressing their intent to develop a Global Entry international trusted traveler pilot program between the United States and Mexico – leveraging the success of the United States’ Global Entry program to facilitate secure, legitimate travel between the two nations,” announced a DHS statement Nov. 30.

The Transportation Security Administration refused to answer a WND inquiry regarding whether trusted traveler cards issued to Mexicans would allow the holder to avoid the new U.S. enhanced screening with full-body backscatter X-ray machines.
