New Meaning for ‘Full-Body Scan’? TSA Manager Charged in Prostitution Case

Rush Limbaugh’s radio show frequently airs a parody of the TSA implicating the workers at that institution as either busybodies or the sort of person who could say “I used to soil myself down at the bus station” without irony. However, recent developments surrounding one Maryland former TSA Manager defy parody. Former TSA Manager Bryant Jermaine Livingston was arrested yesterday for allegedly running a prostitution ring out of his hotel room.

The only excuse Livingston has been able to offer is that he was hosting a “swingers party.”

The International Business Times has a fairly comprehensive look at the story:

On February 15, management at the hotel tipped authorities about Livingston’s off duty activities when they noticed suspicious behavior outside room 506. A manager said that a frequent guest had been escorting groups of men and women from the hotel lobby to his room, and had done so during previous stays at the hotel, reported NBC News. The room in question was registered under Livingston’s name, who only paid in cash.

After receiving the call, the manager led the police officers to room 506. She knocked the door and Livingston opened it and invited the police officers to enter the room, after he had told the police that no illegal activity was taking place in the hotel room. According to Fox News, the responding officers say they saw “11 people inside the room [including] three naked females and four males attempting to get dressed. Multiple people were laying on the two beds and other people were sitting in chairs and standing in the room.” Of the guests involved in the scheme, one man said he paid $100 for sex, according to authorities.

Livingston worked as an employee for the federal Transportation Security Administration since 2002 and has since been dismissed by for his actions. The Washington Post reported that when asked to comment on the scandal, Livingston said on Wednesday that he is innocent, and believes the TSA is acting spitefully against him because he filed a racial discrimination complaint under the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He filed the complaint while he was still employed.

Livingston has been disowned by TSA spokespeople, who note that Livingston had not been employed by the agency at the time he allegedly started his prostitution ring.

      Well there is a reason these types are hired, who do you think we used to have performing the security at our airports? Private companies who hire low paid workers with screwed up backgrounds, all of them just rolled over on to the government doles…man I could go on, but it will become more and more racist sounding as the truth today is normally deemed racist to protect the ineffectual leadership and employees….

    I saw the same thing in the airport I worked at, yes I was TSA. Not all of us are bad, in fact most of us are honest, hardworking, mothers, fathers, veterans, ex-law enforcement, etc… plus college educated. BUT many are not. We had more than one black that could get away with anything because of the threat of discrimination. We had one guy who got fired, he filed suit, and not only got his job back, but was promoted too. What’s bad, is now the union has their claws in the agency.

    And just south of lovely ungentrified MD a story broke today in NoVA about a few misunderstood Crips using teenage females in a prostitution ring under threat of violence. Not going into the race of Crips-they could all be Columbia grads for all I know, but it was odd that it was a Fed investigation- I thought the criteria was anyone but “my people”.

    If you truly think you’re safer its only because no one is trying to hi-jack planes anymore than they are any other vehicle or place. It was all meant to use fear to condition you into wanting and needing to be safe in exchange for you freedoms. Which you have now lost and will NEVER know again as I once new and experienced … so sad … your children will never that beauty and experience because you have become cowards willing to submit to the authority of idiots, criminals and jackasses who have no common sense and are also being conditioned to deprive you of your rights, freedoms and privacy all in the name of the greater good and safety and they will be the same ignoramuses who will become the future Gestapo … papers please, papers please. Just make the cockpit door bullet proof and put the pilots on a separate air system and install sleeping gas. If anything starts to happen put the passengers to sleep. There are now enough of us who will make certain any terrorist don’t come off the plane alive.

      Not if they are black , that would be PC to ask any questions . They were slaves once and we owe them forever .
      Fact : Dayton Ohio Firefighters had to dumb down there admission test in order to hire any blacks !
      None could pass , not even one out of 43 tested . 72 whites, hispanic and two asians passed out of 96 tested.
