Posted on September 19, 2011 at 7:20amIf you guys take a look the story was just copied from the Associated Press. I have noticed that these stories may be copied over to help keep up to date on what is being printed elsewhere. Just a thought..

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 7:31amYes, most…if not all…of these stories are copied straight from the AP…Liberal bent and all…The Blaze is responsible for those creative headlines though…

Report Post »Arminianism
Posted on September 19, 2011 at 8:49amYeah I wonder if that is why it says “Associated Press” above the article? Thats not uncommon for news sites to repost a article from another source as long as they site it correctly.

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 9:20amTo the person that said they kept filming instead of trying to help, lets picture this, you firstly have an exploded airplane next to you leaking fuel all over the place and consuming those around it, and then you have a person yelling over an intercom “stay where you are, emergency staff is on its way!” and you think the answer is to run into that with no training on how to deal with fuel fires or emergency medicine? While valiant that’s how you raise the death toll, not help people, also they didn’t keep filming, the video was a minute of looking at someone crotch.

Report Post »Because we live in a Society that over-all does not understand death and surely therefore can not truly live life; a society that seeks fame over understanding; and these are the reasons people keep filming in tragedy, because death to them is in a movie. Most people are far too dead inside to realize that people souls are recycled.

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 6:53amI have to agree with the critics, what was the point of this piece? The video shows nothing. The audio contains no insightful facts. It was basically a waste of time. And before everyone rushes to defend The Blaze against some negative feedback, consider that some of us have been here from the beginning and just want to see this site succeed. We want a worthwhile experience like watching Beck on FNC was. Yes, I could go elsewhere…And I do. I spend less and less time here. But I do not want it to be that way. I want to be supportive. But there has to be something to actually support, not just a troll honeypot that regurgitates AP stories and inane, meaningless tripe like this.
Yes, the accident was a great tragedy. People died. But this story was a waste of space. It does nothing to report on or explain the tragedy.

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 6:36amGeez enough already. Ok, we know, a plane crashed at an airshow and some people died. Ok, we get it. I think there are more important things that we need to know about. It is almost as if the Blaze is in on creating red herring sensationalism to distract the people from the real issues. Just like the commie pinkos do.

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 6:29amGlenn, please pay attention and fix this crap! This video isn’t even worth a headline on a 13 year-olds blog post. I gotta agree with most of the comments, the headlines are becoming more misleading and the stories are not researched that well anymore. FIRE the ex huff-po chick you hired and get someone who will hold the reporters and writers accountable! Also please spend more time researching stories and digging more details than these 1 or 2 paragraph stories that are often on this site.
This story was even a waste of a cheap mouse click. If you don’t require a higher standard than this from your employees this enterprise is sunk. If they worked half as hard as you do, you would have a dramatic improvement here. I am proud to be a GBTV/Insider Extreme subscriber and made a purchase at Markdown.com but The Blaze is NOT living up to a higher standard!

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 6:19amWOW! You conservatives criticizing The Blaze for the video are such jerks. I can see the libt@ards doing it because that’s all they can do but I did see a few regulars that I know from their posts are conservative blasting this story. You guys/gals should be thankful for this site. The graphics I think they are referring to is the louds crash and the people screaming in the background. We are so nullified to horrific things that we don’t even think about the sounds as being important. I just want to say THANK YOU Glenn and all the reporters for The Blaze. I made The Blaze my home page which is sometimes a bad thing because when I get on my computer to do something on the net, as soon as I start IE, I see a story…then another…..then another. Before I know it I’m sitting there wondering why I went on the Internet in the first place hehe. Has anyone else done this?

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 6:59amForget for a second Beck is tied to this site. It has gone drastically downhill lately. We are just concerned because we share Beck’s vision of a conservative website that brings IMPORTANT news about mostly politics. A few human interest stories are always welcome as long as they are MEANINGFUL. This story is not! The tragic accident is, this particular story is not. I could point out a long list of meaningless stories from last week. Yeah…Don’t click on them…You miss the point! We want this site to succeed.

Posted on September 19, 2011 at 5:56amDid anyone from the blaze even look at this before posting it? Yet I follow The Blaze because it’s like panning for gold: there are a few nuggets among the slew.

I’m sorry to say I am agreeing with you more and more. I’ve been a supporter of the BLAZE since its inception. However, periodically, and especially RIGHT NOW many of the stories are shallow, the editing is “difficult” (at best), and the spelling and punctuation is almost impossible–I guess no proofreading at this time! It seems to go in cycles when they add new contributors.
I know the BLAZE is trying to draw in “others” including more secular-types and young people, but. . . HuffPo and the Enquirer is still out there, as is DRUDGE and other “compilers.” Lets keep on with the good reporting, the good research and the good, informative, instructive writing.
The old “tried-and-true contributors” are quite good, but some seem to rush and are not careful or understanding of the purpose of TRUTH!

In any case, my heart goes out to anyone who had family that were killed, and to those present who this has traumatized. Also to the pilot and his family. There will surely be those who say that people who live on the edge take risks, blah blah blah… But to them I would say that we all take a risk every time we go outside our door. Every time we get in a car, ride a motorcycle, climb a tree, or hang out in a bad part of town. Have some respect for the deceased. God be with all who are directly affected by this tragedy.
