New Medical Report Details George Zimmerman’s Injuries

MIAMI (The Blaze/AP) — Court records show George Zimmerman had a pair of black eyes, a nose fracture and two cuts to the back of his head after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
ABC News reports the medical records were part of evidence released Tuesday that prosecutors have in the second-degree murder case against Zimmerman. He has entered a plea of not guilty and claims self-defense in the Feb. 26 shooting. A message left Tuesday evening with Zimmerman’s attorney was not immediately returned.
Here is ABC’s report:
A medical report compiled by the family physician of accused Trayvon Martin murderer George Zimmerman and obtained exclusively by ABC News found that Zimmerman was diagnosed with a “closed fracture” of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury the day after he fatally shot Martin during an alleged altercation.

The two lacerations on the back of his head, one of them nearly an inch long, the other about a quarter-inch long, were first revealed in photos obtained exclusively by ABC News last month.
But the report also shows Zimmerman declined hospitalization the night of the shooting, and then declined the advice of his doctor to make a follow-up appointment with an ear nose and throat doctor.
Zimmerman was treated Feb. 27 at Altamonte Family Practice. A phone call made Tuesday evening to the practice rang unanswered.
Some of the injuries were previously reported by The Associated Press based on video of Zimmerman at a jail sally port.

But no, instead he runs off because I am sure he was up to no good. Remember on the 911 tapes he runs away. So why come back? He attacks zimmerman and gets shot. Justice served. I have three boys and while I would be heart broken if this happened to them, I wouldnt be blaming the shooter, I would be blaming my son and myself.

Who was in what neighborhood, who followed who, what did the 911 operator say. None of that is important. It all comes down to who made phyisical contact first. And I will take it a step further, in our country you are inocent until PROVEN guilty, so if there is doubt as to who made PHYSICAL contact first, Zimmerman must be set free.

Where Zimmerman’s defense will run into trouble, is that he put himself into the situation, when he didn’t have to. He should have gone and waited for the cops. If he used better judgement and if Trayvon didn’t attack him like a thug, this wouldn’t have happened until a later date. Neither one are without fault, but time will tell what becomes of this mess.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 11:04amThe timeline has them scared… on the 911 tape: travon runs southeast (and out of sight) between a row of buildings and towards the back gate (that is southeast one street over), zimmerman cannot see him (even after having gotten out of his car (proof he was not pursuing him)… zimmerman remains on the phone with operator for another minute and 50 seconds… PLENTY OF TIME FOR MARTIN TO HAVE GOTTEN HOME LESS THAN 200 FEET AWAY… BUT MARTIN DID NOT GO HOME. Zimmerman walked directly east (on the sidewalk) to the next street and still could not see martin… as he was returning to his car he Martin jumpted him 200 feet north of the apt he was staying at… clearly he had not continued home but was instead stalking Zimmerman who has every legal right to be on the sidewalk walking west (not in pursuit) to return to his car several minutes after last seeing Martin… (Martin is not a resident, he is a guest… spending another school suspension at his fathers girlfriends apartment… minors should be supervised at all times… had he been he would still be alive and not out looking for trouble and finding it). Martin did not go home southeast he circled back having to travel north the length of a football field to stalk zimmerman…zimmerman did not travel south after him… those are the facts the prosecution will not be able to overcome.
Feel free to look at a map of the neighborhood and the time line, zimmerman was ambushed by Martin.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 8:09amABC brought an ER doctor in to evaluate the video, where he states there appears to be no significant abrasions on Zimmermans head. This is an hour after the shooting. Yet if you look at the police photo that was taken at the scene you can clearly see it was dark, in the grass and Zimmerman is wearing the same red coat with the wounds. The blood also appears to have coagulated, so this would lead you to believe some time had passed from when the wounds were inflicted and the photo was taken. The only thing we get from the expert is “there appears to be no significant abrasions”. The so called reporters never bring this up.

Manslaughter, or even negligent manslaughter, could have been proven in court. Maybe with a good prosecutor and a bad defense attourney. Murder 2? No way.

I am certainly glad you don’t live in my area. I want my friends and neighbors to look out for me. Just cause someone is watching and following you around an area you do not belong is no reason to confront and inturn begin pumelling someone that lives there. But really they already know whats up. I live in Sanford downtown and really there is no tention here. Evil is as evil does, and when the trash yankee carpet baggers came down and spewed there hate that was a flash in the pan. I guess what I’m getting at is, this is the south. And remember, the charge is Murder 2. State must show intent to kill a previously unknown individual. Zimmerman was clearly carrying out his responsibilities as neighborhood watch, not looking to kill anyone, or he wouldn’t have been on the phone asking for a police response.
Murder 2 is an impossible-to-convict charge in this case, insuring an acquittal and making riots highly probable.
Which may have been the point all along…
