New Romney Ad Hits Obama for Never Visiting Israel as President, Not Saying Whether Jerusalem Is its Capital

Romney Israel

AP

A new Mitt Romney ad released Sunday hits at President Barack Obama for never visiting Israel as president and for not saying Jerusalem is its capital.

“As president, Barack Obama has never visited Israel and refuses to recognize Jerusalem as its capital,” the ad states.

The 30-second spot, titled “Cherished Relationship,” comes one week after the presumptive GOP presidential nominee’s own trip to the Jewish state during a three-country foreign visit. Obama and Romney are both vying for Jewish voter support, with Obama last month signing a $70 million bill in approved funding for Israel’s “Iron Dome” rocket defense system.

The Israeli capital issue has picked up steam in recent weeks: Last month, White House press secretary Jay Carney refused to say flat-out whether the Obama administration considers it to be Jerusalem or Tel Aviv. Several days later, a White House spokesman said Jerusalem is not currently the capital but could become it through negotiations. This is a different stance than the one then-candidate Obama took in 2008, when he said “Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel and it must remain undivided.”

The real question is, why should American presidents, and presidential candidates, be made to kiss the ring of Israel? Israel is a nuclear armed warring, belligerent, nation. Zionism is the closest thing that there is on the planet to Nazism.

Israel‘s interests are not America’s interests.

Look at him there, all prayey like he cares the least bit about Israel. He doesn’t. And you idiots want to elect this bigot president. Amazing.

      Horsedancer and The Jerk.

You two are amazing – NO MAN can keep you out of Heaven – only you can. You will be judge by your Word (Vote) and your Deed (Support). Romney is trying to help you keep your own promise to God and God’s promise to you in Heaven.

If you vote for someone that is for Abortion – you probably wont make it to Heaven
If you Vote for someone that will turn his back on Israel – God will turn his back on you
If you Vote for Gay Marriage – your chances of Heaven are slim

Look like Obama is the one trying to keep you out of Heaven with your own Vote and your Deed! Maybe, this is what God meant when he said “many will be deceived, even the wisest among us.” Believe me your vote is not about the color of two Men skin – it is a Theological Issue that you will have to answer to God for on Judgement day.

Few hate the Jews, which is why ‘self-hating’ Jew is foolish. Many hate that which the Jewish ethnic group historically has done to culture after culture. Their historic kibbutz-ism works for them, but not for others. Yet, they are in constant motion trying to force culture after culture towards this philosophy.

Jews are an ethnic activist group that cries foul when others, in those cultures, respond. A Jew living in France has more in common with a Jew living in America than either has with the people where they reside. They are international citizens with no allegiance to any specific nation, except Israel.

I follow no man, the Bible tells us that all men will let us down but that God never will, and that includes Obama the Man child. You are part of a shrinking few that still think Obama is going to do something for you.

Good on Mitt. In the Bible, the “Land of Canaan” where God instructed Abraham to go was NOT the land of the ORIGINAL Canaanites. Early Descendants of Noah map: http://www.marcrubin.com/noah6.ivnu. More than 1000 years before Abraham’s time, in 3123 BCE, a meteor exploded in the Austrian Tyrols (an event recorded on the “Sumerian Planesphere Disk”) http://www.marcrubin.com/noah-article3.ivnu.

7000 of a peaceful orderly civilization with laws came to an end as the “worst” elements gained hold. Hamite Canaanites left their original Syrian territory in southern Anatolia (Turkey) and crossed the Euphrates River moving south into Aram and soon into numerous locations in Israel..

In 3000 B.C.E. Canaanite Hamites who had crossed the Euphrates and gone south and discovered a pre-flood megalithic stone platform at “Ba’albek” in northeast Lebanon. They created a god of war and called him Ba’al. The hat they created for Ba’al soon appeared as the Pharaoh crown of upper Nile Egypt.

You would want a Baal worshipper as your neighbor about as much as a devout Muslim. They both sacrifice children, etc. So Romney is on the right side of history.

Are you better off than you were four years ago when all the promises began? Have prices gone up or down? Do you want to be controlled by the UN or live by the Constitution? Would you rather drill for oil here (jobs) or pay for it from Brazil (jobs there)?

The way I see it – God still has everything under control. God in Bible told us to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. He did not instruct us to try to figure out the Jews or that we must dine with them or get ripped off in a Business Deal by them – God told his followers to Pray for the peace Israel and I will until my death.

It’s ironic. Marx was a Jew, who invented Marxism, which is being used to justify the destruction of the “keystone of the West”, Israel.

Marxism is the antithesis of Western civilization. The stength of Western civilization comes from it’s culture. The basis of Western culture is Christianity, the basis of which is Judaism. The root of Western civilization is, surprisingly, in Asia on the eastern Medditerranean shore. That is why Israel, in the minds of progressives, must be razed to the ground.

Are all those who call themselves Christians alike? The Old Testament is history and foundation of Christianity and the New Testament. The first book and chapter of Matthew is akin to our knowing all of our ancestors. Does any other religion have that? And you can then trace those very people and all their stories. I have wondered the same question you asked and some things just don’t make sense. Why are there racists and bigots on the Blaze? However, if you are generally a believer who just happens to hate Israel/Jews, you may want to educate yourself on the roots of your theology and Hebraic history/culture. The real word of God is is very different than what our western Church doctrine (dogma) gives us from the Bible. This is why many non believers cite inconsistencies and contradictions to marginalize the Holy Scriptures. The enemy has completely twisted historical record and theology of “the nations” (those who believe modern, progressive Western thought, e.g: pretty much the entire World.) that those most of us don’t really see the truth even though we think we do.

This isn’t going to win over independents. Romney should be telling everyone what damage Obama has done to the economy and how he has put Americans out of work. Do you think unemployed Americans care whether or not Obama has visited Israel? That’s not going to get them back to work!

Try looking at Romney’s youtube channel.

      - 95% of his videos are about the economy.

I don’t think one on Israel, which has wildly positive polling will do anything but help with both independents or the base.

I’m sure he will hit Obama there, too. Romney has so many fronts to bash Obam, it will take a while to come around.
Doe anyone else think that Obama, not visiting Israel, is just another indication that he is Muslim? His, seeming hate for all things Israel related, the fact that his paternal line was Muslim, he attended school in Indonesia as a Muslim, bowing to Arabian kings, not bringing the wife to their country (a show of disrespect if he did), having Muslim brotherhood ties visit the white house, putting so many Muslims in high positions in government?

No one should be surprised that obama has refused to visit Israel and that he denies the simple FACT that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel – because, as we all know, obama is a sworn enemy of Israel, Judaism and the Jewish people.

If we are to survive as a nation, obama must be removed from power.

Gotta tell ya…..I don‘t like Romney’s (or any other politician, for that matter) photo op at the Western Wall and contrived emotion. It should be a personal, humble experience between you and your Creator.

@Copatriots, Yeah there’s a story from Ben Swann saying Obama and much of congress should be busted under the NDAA and sent to Gitmo for associating with known terrorists. (their words) I guess that law only applies to us though. And you nailed it with the photo op remark. It would be a lot different if they were told not to show photos of that particular event. The way it stands now, it looks as if he’s trying to say, “Look Jewish folks, I’m a righteous gentile” even though that term is filled with racist connotations.

      @ JUST

Of course, the terrorist are going to like us so much better and reform their ways because we’re giving them respect and “a seat at the table”. At least, that’s the way the lunatics running the asylum think. Um, you would think one look at Egypt would have them abandon that insane strategy.

The photo op is as much a reflection of the voters as it is the politician. I agree all pols should say some things are off-limits for photos. But, somehow this photo actually matters to a segment of voters. It frightens me how easily influenced the electorate is.

Trust me when I say I am not Romney’s biggest cheerleader but:

      1) We know without question he is American…….by birth as well as patriotism
      2) He can, indeed, beat 0bama in a fair election
      3) He has worked in American business and created jobs
      4) While not ideal, he is surely a better choice than 0bama who will indeed destroy this country if the third party votes steer enough away from Romney.

Ron Paul nor Gary Johnson can or will win. Idealism can only take one so far before realism must prevail.

i will never vote based on who ‘can win’. That category is subjective and pre-determined by the media establishment. Remember in the primary how they were telling us that Romney was the only one who ‘can win’ against Obama??? Did you believe that for a second?

I will never do a ‘write-in’ vote, therefore Gary Johnson is my man. I consider Gary Johnson a compromise because I do not believe in EVERYTHING he stands for. But i know voting for the establishment candidate will only encourage the establishment. I know full well that Gary Johnson will not win. BUT if enough people vote for him, republicans will never nominate another progressive. If we cant get a Constitutional nominee from the republicans in 2012, I will do everything i can to make sure we get one in 2016 and 2020. Like i said, I do not see how voting for Romney will accomplish that goal.

4 years of Obama has not woken up the republican party to the necessity of Constiution. Still looking for the republican ‘come to Jesus moment’. If another 4 years is what it takes – then so be it. I would rather win the war than win the battle

No way . . . showing support to Israel is exactly what America has done for decades! Romney is fiercely patriotic to this country and will govern as an inclusive president of all Americans! We need to un-elect the current resident who is far less than even partly patriotic. America is exceptional and continue to be with different leadership.
