New Romney Ad Slams Obama Attacks, Asks ‘Whatever Happened to Hope and Change?’

The Romney campaign is out with a new campaign spot hitting President Barack Obama for abandoning his “hope and change” campaign mantra in favor of a barrage of negative ads against Mitt Romney.
Released Sunday amid a fresh wave of controversy over Romney’s time at Bain Capital, the 30-second ad is composed entirely of clips of journalists criticizing the tone of Obama’s campaign. It ends with CBS News’ Bob Schieffer asking, “Whatever happened to hope and change?”
According to Politico, Schieffer was “shocked” to find himself in the Romney ad.
“That was a question that I posed to David Axelrod — not a statement,” he explained. “I have no affiliation with the Romney campaign. This was done without our permission.”
Noting the “precarious” position of an “independent” journalist, Politico continues, Schieffer attempted to distance himself from the commercial.
“I‘m sure I’ll get some blowback,” he concluded.

But that would require the gov’t staying OUT of our business and they are getting more INTO it every day.
SAWBUCK – I think Romney should offer to show his tax records and such on the BAIN subject only if Obama agrees to show his ORIGINAL and OFFICIAL birth certificate.
Then ask why the gov’t offers tax breaks to corporations that build plants and hire workers overseas – thus outsourcing job from America completely – if he has such a problem with BAIN supposedly outsourcing jobs here INSIDE America.
But then again, I think anyone who even RUNS for an office at ANY level should have to show any/all public/private records including MEDICAL.

Posted on July 15, 2012 at 8:02pmThis is the problem when the GOP picks the same type of candidate every election. Romney will not defeat Obama as Romney only has the support of 90% of the Republicans (blind Republicans) if that many. He does not have the Independents, Paul supporters, Youth or the disenfranchised Democrats (they will do like all of you and hold their nose, only for Obama). Paul would have brought all those voting blocks to the table and defeated Obama by a landslide, but all of you had to listen to the establishment reporters from all the media tell you who to vote for. Another four years will be on all your shoulders, so do not try to blame anyone but yourselves. Maybe after four more, you will all listen a little closer to all of us who have woke up to the establishments plans over the last 100 years. Maybe you will not be so quick to call us Paulbots and Paultards. We ar supporters of Liberty and Paul was a catalyst. We are taking over the GOP and we will win in the long run despite ignorance. We will not shrink into the shadows, we will fight to our deaths to regain the liberty that has been taken away from us by progressives from both sides of the aisle.

“The sanctions imposed on our country are the most severe and strictest sanctions ever imposed on a country,” Mr. Ahmadinejad said during a meeting with Intelligence Ministry officials in Tehran, reported by Iranian news services. “But the enemies’ assumption that they can put Iran in a weak position through these sanctions is false and is the result of their materialistic calculations.”
Mr. Ahmadinejad also said Iran should turn the sanctions into an “opportunity to eliminate the country’s current reliance on oil revenue and take away from the enemy the use of oil as a weapon for imposing sanctions.”
Iran relies on oil exports for 80 percent of its national budget. By some industry calculations, Iranian oil exports have already fallen by 40 percent so far this year, and the country is losing billions of dollars a month it had not anticipated.
Oil industry experts say Iran’s predicament has worsened substantially because of the new European oil embargo, imposed on Sunday, and American measures imposed on Friday that penalize buyers of Iranian oil.

I’m very comfortable with this ad and others that the Romney camp have produced. He will get tough when he needs to and be softer when he needs to. It is still very early in the presidential race and obama is spending way more $ than he is getting in. Romney is saving his ammo for when the real fight starts. After seeing Romney overcome so many opponants in the primaries I have to trust he knows what he is doing. So, in spite of the many negative comments on this site, and I happen to believe many are from obama trolls, I think the war against obama is going as it should.

And let’s not even talk about Fast & Furious. There are so very many more and you can also make the case that when Romney was at Bain he at least was using private funds. Obama has lost billions OF YOUR MONEY, from Solyndra and all those “Green” jobs to all the stimulus money that was wasted. Posted on July 15, 2012 at 4:06pmThe ONLY fire coming from Romney is in the form of Super Pacs!!! This is why I think his campaign is just like McCain lite!!! Where is the freaking fire??? I am SICK and TIRED of having to wear the white hat!!! This is politics and only the vilest seem to be able to write the message!!! Instead of having to “defend” send the flaming arrows back at this COMMUNIST!!! IF, obama wins and the Democrats retain their power in Congress we are DOOMED!!! This is NOT a cake walk because the public education system has cookie cuttered the country into brain dead zombies!!!!

Report Post »I‘m hoping he’s team will go into full gear soon. I did post on another story earlier today that I thought that he may be watching his war chest. 0bama can get in front of the news cameras any time he wants giving him virtually a free campaign ad. Then whatever he says will be repeated for some time by his adoring media. I expect a major acceleration from September through November.

They need to have:
Barack Obama’s voice talking about “Fundamental Change” (pick a phrase, there’s a lot)
Michelle O’s voice saying, “Barack will never to go back to you life as usual”
Barack‘s voice bashing Bush’s economy & job losses
Report Post »Barack’s voice saying what the job increase should be & by when
Barack‘s voice saying he should be a one term president if he doesn’t make things better.
Barack’s voice saying if he were Romney, he too would be complaining about Barack
Michelle O’s voice saying,
“Barack will never let you go back to your life as usual.”

If Romney announces the staggering numbers about Obama and his presidency efficiently and just pummels his lies with truth. Even King Husseins clown party will eventually realize he is destroying EVERYTHING. Everyone has worked for…Even himself.

Somehow though, knowing Soros and Obama on the same team, they are confident due to having one or more aces up their sleeves. This election is going to make the term UGLY, look nice by the time its done.

Posted on July 15, 2012 at 3:47pmEvery election we hold fast to the establishment progressive paradigm setup by the two colluding main stay parties.
Report Post »Every time we listen to the argument that “the vote for someone not establishment is a vote for the worse of the two”. Sorry, not this time.
Ron Paul supporters are united and passionate. The argument is correct, with out the votes of the supporters of Paul, Obama WILL win. Everyone knows this, and you are being told the truth by Paul supporters that they will be casting their votes for him regardless of the tiring threat of another Obama Presidency. Knowing this then, you better start believing, and believing fast, that a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama. Passion counts, the Paul supporters are passionate about their guy and are going to vote for him.
I’m telling all true Independents and Republicans to vote Paul, stop thinking you will sway Paul supporters into voting for anyone else. You won’t. If we really don’t want another Obama Presidency, it’s up to the Romney supporters to recognize this and do the right thing. The ball is in their court, because everyone knows where Paul supporters stand. If Obama wins it’s not because of Paul supporters, it’s because you think that theirs a choice between Obama and Romney.
Romney will overturn Obamacare? No he won’t. He’ll water it down in a perfect example of the Overton Window. It’s a lame argument anyway.
What I want to know is, will Romney overturn the Patriot Act and the NDAA. That‘s what’s i

Posted on July 15, 2012 at 7:02pmRon Paul is a nice person but as for running this country he is not nor will ever be the man for the job. People who know him love him but not to run this country. If anyone really hears what he has to say about the defense of this country they would not want him as our president. Who ever is chosen to run against Obama will need all the support he can get as right now this country loves a good liar and that needs to change before November. Insulting anyone other than Ron Paul will not help you or this country.

Report Post »In the Primaries Ron Paul garnered @ 2m votes–less than Romney–9.8m +, Santorum, 4m, Gingrich 2.7m. So I SERIOUSLY doubt there are the 10-20-30m Paul voters like what you hear from the paulbots on this site. Of that number I suspect at least 50% will vote for Romney. I expect some pushback from the “Usual Gang of Idiots” but I doubt they will be able to come of with anything substantive–just annecdotal. I guess they are to be pitied: their politial savior defeated before he even started, and we are going to be getting all kinds of posts to ‘write in paul’. I don’t believe for one moment we will have 10s of millions of folks do that. Not that many folks living in a fantansy world out there.
