New Secret Service Defense: Some Agents Were Too Drunk to Sleep With Prostitutes

Who knew that if you’re in the Secret Service, getting drunk might save your job?
Evidently, some agents think that’s the best defense they can come up with, according to Talking Points Memo:
Some of the agents caught up in the Colombian prostitution scandal “have said there was no sexual activity because the men were so drunk that they fell asleep immediately after bringing the women to their rooms,” according to the Washington Post.
The paper also reports that members of Bill Clinton’s protective detail went to a strip club during his 2009 visit to Buenos Aires.
“Of course it has happened before” one agent not implicated in the Colombian prostitution scandal told the Post. “This is not the first time. It really only blew up in this case because the [U.S. Embassy] was alerted.”
To the credit of the agents making this argument, their defense is comparatively superior to the other one being advanced – that the rules didn’t say you couldn’t sleep with a woman while on duty. Or, to quote one of the agents, “They couldn’t tell us whether there was anything explicit in their rules and regulations that said anything about whether one of their personnel could spend the night with a woman in a foreign country. They said they would have to get back to us on that, and they haven’t.”

None of us can imagine how bad the atmosphere is within this corrupt admin, and we should all keep that I mind.
I can tell you about an agent that went from Clinton to Bush said it was like night and day, they went from being disrespected slaves to becoming respected members of the house.

Yet they demanded to be paid for sex, one wanted $800. Now, it seems to me that it has been established what sort of ladies they were, it was just a matter of determining the price. As for the guys being drunk, they would HAVE to be drunk to offer $800 for those gals. I mean, they weren’t all that bad looking, but, my God, $800?? For a few hours? I thought these guys were smarter than that.They should have offered the going rate, probably $50 and none of this would have ever happened.

I don’t know how far back these abuses go, but I’d be willing to bet that a basic lack of respect for a President who bad mouths his own country every chance he gets might be to blame.
