New Video: Hugh Jackman’s Daring Zipline Entrance on Oprah Goes Horribly Wrong

Last December, ‘X-Men’ action hero Hugh Jackman was all set to make a grand entrance onto the set of the Oprah Winfrey show, which was being taped at Australia’s Sydney Opera House that day.
Recalling that day, Oprah said, “I was literally holding my breath from the moment I started speaking to him from on top of the Sydney Opera House,” which is where Jackman was stationed. His plan was to fly onto the stage via zipline. But the Australian actor‘s stunt didn’t quite go as planned. As you can see in the clip below, as Jackman zoomed down the breathtakingly high zipline, everything was going fine–he was flying past the audience, waving to them with a smile–and then he….crashed straight into the lighting rig of the set. Here he is tangled up, with blood on the right side of his face.
On her show ‘Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes,’ which will air on her OWN TV network on Sunday, Oprah finally tells the story of what actually happened the day Jackman crashed into the set’s lighting fixture. “He turned around,” after crashing into lights, “and I saw that he was bleeding,” Oprah said. You don’t want to become known as that miserable, friendless, child frightening, old coot who believes that the sound children playing or a good joke is just a bunch of humbug.
“All work and no play makes Jack (no relation) a dull boy”… or to paraphrase… “All politics and no chuckles make the Blaze a dull place”. Part of what makes liberals so irritaing to us and destructive to the Nation, is their complete and utter inability to just lighten up, and to live and let live.
As for Oprah… she is no fool, but that doesn‘t guarantee that she can’t BE fooled, don’t confuse error with evil. Like a Mother that has tried to help a child in trouble ends up blind to her enableing it, she may never come around to the truth that most others can see, that‘s not BAD that’s HUMAN.
As for Jackman… perhaps a little empathy and compassion isn’t inappropriate here. After all, bravado and risk taking are a big part of what built this country… without it Normandy would be just some other beach, and Washington would have just gone fishing from the Delaware shore.
I think that it may be time to try and remember those first few Sunday School classes we attended. and see if perhaps what we learned then hasn’t been lost.
And finally, how about we try to tone down the poltical derision (let that remain a Liberal trait) and just try to see things for what thay really are…after all, as the great writer said, “sometimes a cigar… is just a cigar.”

Even more interesting, my web browser further allows me to hit the back button, or simply post nothing at all, should I find the story to be irrelevant to me personally.

DOprah is as in on whats going on as anyone. She has been on the frontlines of reprogramming American society for at least 20 of those years. She sat in the front row of Jeremiah Wright’s church for years as well, and is really in my opinion, the most notable source of the attempt to “normalize” homosexuality and deviate sex practices. She spent the last few years pushing the ideas of getting rid of all your stuff, living in a small place and generally being bohemian.
I’ve been hoping for years that some disastrous thing would happen to finally wake more people up to her idiocy. Unfortunately, other folks are generally the ones who get hurt, not her.
