When WTEN-TV news anchor Elisa Streeter saw the footage of a grounds crew worker who had gotten himself stuck under a tarp at last Tuesday night’s rain-delayed Mets-Rockies game, she lost it. She started laughing so hard, she couldn’t even finish the segment. This apparently has happened before, as her co-anchor commented that when Streeter “loses it,” she’s “done:”

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 1:54pmThis is one of the local TV stations where I live, and this is the most entertaining thing to come from them in years. On a side not, about 10 plus years ago the white haired guy on the left (weather guy) was nailed for chasing some guy around his property with a chainsaw.

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 10:32amI started laughing hysterically once during a teacher’s workshop. We were watching some kind of training video. In the video every time an important point was highlighted it was preceded by a sound that to me sounded like a quick fart.
Report Post »The second time I heard it, I whispered to the teacher across from me “Diane how rude”. She played along as if she was farting. That sent me and a few others at the table into hysterics. We were covering our mouths and I actually leaned under the table.
I could not get control of myself. Every time that I heard the sound on the video it got worse.
I finally had to leave the library. Thankfully the lights were out.
I know it was inappropriate behavior, and immature for teachers to act like that. But after almost eight years it still makes me laugh.
Laughter with the kids, laughter with the other teachers—also very important to the education process.

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 9:58amReminds me of the Cheech & Chong joke “Tickle your azz with a feather?“ ”How’s the weather!?”

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 8:37amSome of you need to lighten up a little. OK, so this isn‘t a huge news story and it wasn’t even all that funny; it was cute. If all you want is serious, depressing news, just don’t read this stuff. Stick to the “Obama is the worst President ever” stories. There’s enough of that to keep you busy.

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 8:20amhonestly I fail to see why this and others like it are added to the Blaze…I was expecting to see an anchor completely losing it to the point of falling off her chair or something but this, to me anyway wasted 2 minutes of my morning.

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 7:58amI agree. That just wasn’t that funny. Must have brought back memories of “tickle boxes getting turned over”. Love that phrase. Doesn’t happen nearly enough these days, does it? Thanks JAKEV for the reminder!

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 7:49amOkay, that was fun. I‘ve lost it on occasion and there’s not a thing you can do but just laugh it out. Anybody here remember when people used to say “your tickle box got turned over” when this happened? Haven’t heard that phrase in years.
